The installation process begins with unboxing and organizing the components. Peterson highlights the importance of familiarizing oneself with the included instructions to ensure all parts are accounted for before starting the installation. This segment stresses the significance of proper preparation, including the use of lubricants on bolts to facilitate future adjustments or removals.
    INSTALLATION STEPS EXPLAINED
Peterson walks through the installation process step-by-step, using basic tools like wrenches and sockets. He emphasizes strategic placement to avoid interference with other trailer parts, such as the jack or the vehicle's tailgate, during various maneuvers, such as turning or lowering the tailgate.
    ENSURING PROPER PLACEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT

I wish the handle portion was telescoping or adjustable in some way so that I can be sure it'll fit in the garage.

I wonder is there ever a problem with loading the boat in a current and the steps being in the way?

If installed correctly, the rollers or bunks should guide the boat up before hitting the steps.
