That’s what happens if you don’t build a solid physique before using steroids. His was a body built on drugs so when the steroids go the body goes with it .
He was only taking deca which seems to help with joint pain relief and a moderate amount of soft tissue repair. He didnt do much weight training and was probably taking pain killers and his diet probably wasnt great which hindered his gains.
not all people take steroids to get jacked. plenty do it to maintain whatever physique they have. if you're on the road for 340 days a year. working out is a grind. the boost from steroids can be enough just to get you in the gym to not lose whatever physique you have

Steroids do not give you muscles, it makes your recovery time lower and helps with your work out, but if you're not a gym rat and do it religiously, then it doesn't just give you anything. I know people, including my brothers, who did steroids and they don't just give you muscles, they just help you earn them. Go back and look at HTM back in the day, he was a big guy and he wasn't shredded by any means, but he was very muscular. Plus, he says he stopped a long time ago.

I find it interesting that pretty much all these guys who have been refreshingly honest about their drug use, you've never seen get invited back onto any of WWE's shows.
A lot of times the drugs just added to the crazy, but wasn't the entire cause. You gotta remember, the wrestling industry has always attracted a lot of "different" kinds of people from all the way back to it's beginnings in traveling circuses and that even the most normal of people tend to change after working in this industry after a while. Because a lot of people just can't or don't know how to handle or deal with all the stress that comes with the job. All the traveling, year-round work schedule with no time off, rarely ever getting to see family or loved ones, constantly training, the locker-room/backstage "politics", worrying about injuries, money problems (especially when first starting out) and having to constantly maintain a certain image. It all effects people in different ways. Sometimes the craziness and/or using drugs comes as way to deal with all this stress, sometimes it was there all along and wrestling/stress just took it to a whole new level.

Changes in personality, erratic behavior, mood swings confusion, and inability to control impulses, are just some of the symptoms of CTE. I just think that TBI's/CTE.are far more dangerous and have been proven to have irreversible life-changing consequences.

I used to train at Main Event Fitness in GA where he trained. The dude was big af! Used to incline bench press 365 to 405 for reps. Arms were humongous. I looked like a stick next to him and I was 210-215 lbs and lean at that time. 007
The common misconception about steroids is that they just build muscle which is incorrect. They allow you to recover quicker which allows you to workout more often. So in the HTM’s case, he was able to do strength and endurance workouts more often, in someone like Luger, he focused a lot on getting size as well which is a different type of workout.
Exactly 💯!! For example, legs and glutes are the hardest muscles to train, and if you do a two hour leg day naturally, it takes about a week to recover (even if you are in peak natural condition) but if you take juice you can go back at your legs like three days later

The common misconception about steroids is that they just build muscle which is incorrect. They allow you to recover quicker which allows you to workout more often. So in the HTM’s case, he was able to do strength and endurance workouts more often, in someone like Luger, he focused a lot on getting size as well which is a different type of workout.
Exactly 💯!! For example, legs and glutes are the hardest muscles to train, and if you do a two hour leg day naturally, it takes about a week to recover (even if you are in peak natural condition) but if you take juice you can go back at your legs like three days later

That's true. It isn't bad for you unless you over use it. You could over use tylenol and die. So, really, so many people and I see a bunch here posting, show just how ignorant they are; they know nothing about steroids. They think that if you do steroids it just gives you attributes, it doesn't. It helps you with recovery and strength.
@@axelfoley20 I always had that impression. Personally I'd rather see wrestlers and body builders on steroids because part of it was seeing the human body at its peak. As long as people aren't over using I'd have no issue with it in competitions. I know I'd be in the minority with that opinion.
AJisnumerouno they aren’t bad if used properly. Cycling and post cycling has changed dramatically over the years. Some steroids are stronger than others. Different steroids are used for different purposes.

They aren't "bad" but are you really gonna waste thousands of dollars on artificial muscles that are entirely dependent on your cycles? I could understand if your profession is centered around physique/strength why you would do it, but if you're an average 9 to 5 joe it's just goofy as hell.

I think mine are different, but every 3 months I get epidural steroid injections in my lower spine, I have scoliosis and my spine is deteriorating, I also have to get stretched once a week to keep my spine stretched, it looks like a medieval torture device but it feels so good, I usually fall asleep lol
