Yes and no. For one thing Rocky is probably three inches taller. I've met them both back in the day. I'm 6'4". Luger was a little shorter than me, the Rock a smidge taller. Luger, in his time, managed to look like that 24/7 for years (with a lot of help) while Dwayne does it in a casual way, just in time for his film shoots. Is he using Testosterone replacement? I heard this show though and Joe wasn't talking shit. Context is important. He was just stating the extremely obvious. Jim was on that BS here. Jim sounded like a flustered Englishman. To be fare though, he had a point at the end about idiots and copycats.
Yall did not mention in the podcast they calculated his calorie intake and they determined that Rock does not eat the same number of calories that he wears off from exercise. Hence, he's on the the juice.
When it comes to steroids and fitness, the issue has never been about simply taking them. It's always been about deception. If you're on gear, disclose. If you sell a fitness plan, all the more reason to disclose.
Rock is selling nothing but his look. I’ve never heard him say anything about steroids ever. He wants someone to just bring it up. There’s no need to bring it up if you aren’t selling anyone anything but a look.

MMA ( UFC ) literally has the strictest drug testing for sports on the planet. Pro wrestling literally revolves around steroids. It cant exist without steroids

In WWE, Luger's true height was 6' 3" and weighed 265. Dwayne Johnson's current weight is 263, and he's 6' 2". He might look bigger, because of the way movies are filmed. It's also often theorized that they use CGI to make some actors look wven more muscular and bigger. I don't think Rock is excessive at all. Go back and look at Hemsworth in Thor: Love and Thunder. Now THAT dude looked huge!

Reason joe Rogan mentioned the rock is because his guest is a RUclipsr who makes content on whether athletes/celebrities are on gear. The guest is known as More plate more dates, decent informational channel on chemicals, diets and working out.
Cena was a bodybuilder first so of course he was on roids. He also got off of them once he started wrestling. That's why he didn't continue getting bigger. Read up on what Ronnie Coleman has said about the BB industry.
@@michaelcrump3110 lol no, cena was never off them, a healthy dose of test and growth hormone for sure. Your hands do not become twice the size naturally.
I think it was pretty obvious the Rock pushed the limits with roids when he had to wear a t shirt in WWE when he had breast reduction surgery. I think Jim was on creative still or just going to ovw... Jim knows better but he'll defend the Rock.
Here's my thought. If you were going to have the genetics to be buff being half Samoan half Black. The Rock may juice, but that man works hard. You can't just take steroids and get buff, he's done the work.
The tone of how Joe Rogan said all of this is so different when read compared to how it was actually said in the podcast. I can't recall Rogan demanding anything and the whole "should make a video too" thing was in a half joking manner since they had just watched the Liver King apology video. Like "imaging The Rock doing a video like that, lolz"
Rock is bigger now than he was as a full-time wrestler. Remember in early 99 when he wore a shirt during matches? That was supposed to be because of surgery he had when his chest swelled due to steroids. If he was on them then in his late 20s, he's definitely on them now to be that size in his 50s.
@Speedyreedy1218 to quote Joe Rogan "it's entirely possible." I do remember him wearing a shirt with his normal trunks as well which looked a bit weird.
WrestleMania 8, Luger makes an on-screen appearance as a part of the WBF due to his WCW contract. He looked absolutely massive. That’s the biggest I ever recall Lex looking. That said, The Rock looks bigger than ever.
I remember earlier in the Rocks career, he went away for a bit and came back having to wear a shirt all the time. Vince even had a segment where he was in the ring and said to the rock that he was looking a little small. Come to find out he has gotten off the juice but didn't put 2 and 2 together in the moment.
How Jim dances around admiting that Dwayne looks juiced up like hell when he talks like Lex Luger. There might still be that one phone call for good old Jimmy somewhere down the road when the Rock needs a manager/booker/commentator for his promotion.
Bro how’d you fuck this up? He went from Machoke to Machamp. Come on now, why do I gotta help you. Or Machump to the Peoples Champ if you are so inclined.
I'd say Rock is bigger than Luger in his prime but Luger was very vascular at certain times while Rock concentrates more on size. Luger's abs were pretty much always visible, which I'm sure is a genetic advantage over a guy with a Samoan background like the Rock who probably has to struggle to do the same.

Rock has never been anywhere near Luger's physique. Luger was insane.
I thought i was the only one who liked 3 musketeers because of the wrapper..lol thanks Corny!
He had breast tissue removed, known as 'bitch tits' to steroid users.
Was something going on with his legs too? Because he wore full sweat suits late 98-April 99.
His gyno had more to do with heredity. Many men of Samoan heritage have soft tissue around the nipples.
@Speedyreedy1218 to quote Joe Rogan "it's entirely possible." I do remember him wearing a shirt with his normal trunks as well which looked a bit weird.
@@Black_Adam911 Rikishi's, Yokozuna, and Khali's nipples looked like a cow being pumped for milk. Rock's never did or Haku's.

I don't think he talks like a wrestler anymore. Ever since he was in that annoying movie, "Gridiron Gang", he's been boring.
Might explain why we don't hear the Rock talk about his strudel anymore.
That’s also when he got his Gyno surgery, so he was trying to hide that.
What year was that? 1999?
