This is the best tap number ever and from one of my favorite Broadway musicals. The dancers are fantastic and the choreography and energy is exceptional! I can watch this video over and over and over again and never tire of it. It makes me so happy watching it!
How can one watch this and not feel fabulous. Kudos to Anna-Jane, the adorable chorus of fabulous tappers and England’s best reminder that American musicals are phenomenal, Mr. Wilson. And you Mr Wilson are iconic. You bring so much pleasure to your audiences. Your talent is luminous. Proms are perfectly magical. Kudos and bravo and so many thanks for posting this. Encore!🥰
i can't stop watching this! Everything about it is perfect - the music, the lyrics, the choreography, the insane energy and Anna Jane Casey being just fabulous.
Fantastic. If you need cheering up this is the place to be. How wonderful to have been in the audience. Wonder if those two who left knew what they missed.
The third time I watched this I kept an eye on John Wilson and his movements on the podium. He is completely into this performance. I almost expected him to start tapping too. This number is one of the best things I have seen in a long time. I'm bookmarking it for days when I need it.
Who is the very handsome and talented dancer to Anna-Jane's right--the first showcase dancer--how talented and what great facial expression?!!! I hope his career took him somewhere.
The whole concert was fanatstic! I cried and laughed in equal proportions. This number was the 'encore' and as you can hear brought the house down! Fab...U...lous! XXXX Thanks for posting in HD!
I'm not sure why I find tap dancing so thrilling. I can't think of much else in theater that compares. I wish someone had video of the Tommy Tune version from the 1988 London concert. I'd give good money for video of the whole concert.
browserpower of course I would. If their was 5 black women and 1 white woman of course I would use that as a description to identify her... Is there something wrong with you? What is your complaint?
HaiLsKuNkY Nothing wrong with me. I just wondered why you used the word black to describe the woman. Anyone watching the video would know which lady fell. Her skin colour has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Why are you interpreting black as negative? its a description only. nothing more.. it never even crossed my mind that someone could be upset for using the term black to describe someone. if someone called me white i would equally not mind.
HaiLsKuNkY Im not upset it just stuck out that you used the word black. From looking at the video its not as if you needed to specify which lady tripped. It was very clear as she was in frame when it happened and was obviously the lady just to the right of anna casey. The fact that you called her black straight away just exposes your mindset. Its not something i personally would have said.
WONDERFULL. WONDERFULL!!!❤🎉😅
It doesn't get any better than this performance 1st class

Anything John Wilson does is magic!

You and me both! I love this performance, by Anna Jane Casey. It's like being at a Broadway show.
I’m the same. Getting excited about new proms season so watching a few of e old ones. This is amazing.
Sometimes i honestly come to watch that old couple get stampeded by the chorus line to the delight of literally everyone in the room.
You said it better thanks
Oh how I wish I’d been in the Audience. I play this whenever I feel l low. Absolutely terrific. 👏👏👏
Anna-Jane on a performer's scale of "10" is a "12"!! What a talent!! Nobody like her!!
A 12- with a bullet!

They do every time they see themselves leaving on RUclips.

This is the best version of this song. And Anna Jane Casey is Fantastic! Talk being nimble with that high step to her head!
fab john wilson is a geius, and has picked a brilliant cast. well done, cant stop watching it, would love to have been there
When AJ C performed this in the tour of Mack and Mabel a few years ago, she quite literally stopped the show ! A true talented lady
I didn't even know she was in a tour of Mack and Mabel, Wow!! It seems like this musical is really popular in the UK compared to the west.
Joy!!!!!
We need to ask the Brits to come over here and produce Mack and Mabel.
the proms john wilson slot has not been matched since. What a great perfomance throughout that evening back in 2012.
I think this year he is doing an MGM prom.
It repeats itself because he's so great that he can be proud of himself,

Ana todo el escenario a tu cargo. Grande entre las grandes.

All praise the two members of the audience leaving early right at start of video
Almost taken out by a team of synchronized tap dancers
They were probably going to the restroom.
What a clever plant!!
Für Alle.

Ja .So muss
es sein.Weniger ist mehr.
black woman falls over at 01:40 :D they get up laughing
Why not just "woman falls over...", would you say "white woman falls"?
