Is always funny how we pretty much take for an easy win when we fight low or garbage tier characters... just to get smoked big time due to our overconfidence, this is why we should NEVER underestimate our opponents, they can really show us how those characters can mean bussiness in the right hands (and also the fact that since they're considered low/garbage tier characters it means that we can get off-guard by fighting those as is something we're not used to see, and that happened to me... a lot).
A lot of people tend to discredit the players while assuming that the characters are doing all the work.
You r definitely not lying, in sf 4 and definitely kof the 2 that got me the most was dee jay and kenso, never sleep or you'll get washed without knowing 😭😭😭
Honestly it comes down to when a character is considered low tier you have little to know matchup experience.

Fun fact about me: Even though I don't main R. Mika in SFV, she was my favorite character to experiment with in Alpha 3 and train my mash with her super. Very hard to pull off btw.
r mika is maybe the funnest character to use in alpha 3

Nahhhhh pulling off ryu's shin shoryuken the 4 hit that can literally deplete the whole ho bar with in 4 hits is hard
From Osaka to Tokyo is almost 500km(306mi).

Everybody talking about bad characters this bad characters that but if someone knows how to use the character then it’s a game changer that’s the greatest R Mika I’ve ever seen wow makes me want to start playing her
I love the commentary and analysis of these videos. I'm not well-versed enough in fighting games to understand what's going on, but Justin does such a good job explaining the situation while simultaneously creating a narrative of the experience. There was this Japanese guy I played on fightcade that used Mika X-ism, I can't remember his name but this dude washed me. Mika is great in the right hands.

Damn, that last round against Maki was truly heartbreaking.
If she hadn't walljump out of the corner, she could've won that game.

5 Years ago Floe banned me from his chat for a week for saying a3 Mika has fun buttons. Then I went on 30th and some Mika from South America used shp to kara 720 super on my wakeup from like 3 character lengths away.
Awesome to see that Version is still active. The dude is a true OG of the A3 scene.

Good fight that R.Mika player was really good I wasn’t expecting half the stuff she was throwing well that goes to show why Japan is one.
R. Mika ain't that bad. Sure, she ain't part of the high-tiers, but still... It was nice seeing her comeback in Street Fighter 5 (alongside Karin). I hope she appears in more games (including crossovers).

That leg command grab is a personal favorite, it doesn't have too much start up, does a lot of damage and has a decent range, is like Zangief running bear at mínimum scaling.
So far she has good normals but ver few good special moves and what she does a lot of character do it better.

Justin, you should you know by now that you come across *some* players that get the paper of tier lists/telemetry of characters like we all do, but they look at the paper for 5 seconds, rip that paper up and learn whoever they want to learn and destroy people. :P

You paid the price for underestimating Mika
She may be low tier but any character who can wake up command grab is an annoyance, this guy is really good with Mika in my experience it's always the players that choose low/mid tiers who are the skilled ones and the ones who are fun to go against.

The one with wrestlers like “Star Man” and “The Amazon”.
This just goes to show that these old game tier lists are not fully fleshed out. They didn't have online matches, so all tech was developed in the arcades which was very localized.
And not to mention that it cost money per match to play, so the people are only going to choose the noticeable top tier characters.
That was a great set. These Japanese players are no joke. They always used to smoke me in the arcades. They are on a different level.

As low tier as she is V-Mika has some good tech with unblockables and OTG grab combos. Super situational stuff but cool none the less.

I remember there was always that can use R. mika perfectly i had tk use Charlie(Nash in JPN ver.) To literally punish every mistake the guy made and it paid off

Justin a game that needs a lot of love that I think you would like is "Blade Strangers" for the PS4 and Switch. It is also on Steam I think.
It's a Crossover game that has a focus on Frame data. It feels some what like a cross between SF2:Grandmaster, in terms of speed, mixed with the combo system of Darkstalkers 3 [Dreamcast build].
It's a really fun game. Not many people play it. I think you would love it.

Nah. Best anti-air in a fighting game definitely belongs to Noob Saibot in mk9.
The devs thought it was a good idea to give him an anti-air special that hits way above him, lowers his hurtbox, is used in combos and is used for pressure up close cuz its +4 on block.
One of the rules of mk9 is never jump in on Noob.

Any character can beat any character. Its the players skill that is important.
People acting surprised that a certain characters beats another, are people that never played fighting games or just cant play at all....
Anyone with even a little bit of experience knows any fight can be won when faught right....

Justin! May i share with you some of the things that you aren't doing with V-Sak? and also, i'd like to know which arcade this is in Tokyo (no idea after Shinjuku More is discontinued)
I like playing as Mika in A3, but hated that Capcom never made her viable. They even nerfed her more in Upper and later seasons in SFV, while keeping Karin top-tier in both games.

Not gonna lie. First thing I did after watching this video is playing Mika in Alpha 3.
I'm a little scared that he does that much damage with the Sakura CC not being optimized. I never knew I enjoyed watched A3 matches so much.

I didn't played R mika on zero 3 and i don't know how good she was.But in 5 she was really good! If someone learn to play even dan in zero 2 the character won't be that trashy in the end i guess! All the fighters has a potential no matter how lame they really are as a whole! 😉

I think the actual worst character in the game is surprisingly not Mika or Dan but E. Honda lol. Crazy thing is that even the low tiers have abusable tactics that can win them a game or two
The true worst character in the game is X-ISM Dan, with the "Classic Mode" being EVEN WORST!
Getting beat by low tiers is such an ego check. You start questioning life and wondering how you lost to someone you aren’t supposed to. I fully believe that no FG tier list is locked up because someone can just find something in a low tier and prove they are competitive. 😂
