    3:40 - This glitch also exists for Ryu/Akuma's hopkick. You can cancel the recovery frames during a specific window for some reason. Window is only a few frames, but you can make it easier by pianoing a special.
    For all the attention the infinites get, people don't realize how insanely strong V-ISM Dhalsim is in this game.
    Like literally in a tier all by himself. Not a single losing match-up. Even ST and SF5 Sim at their peak are nowhere near as good. Guard crush means you can't sit VS him either. He has pressure from full screen all the time.

    • @carlosaugusto9821
      @carlosaugusto9821 Год назад +7

      It was a very specific combination of the character's innate abilities, move parameters and system mechanics. It's uncommon for SF to have guard crush, universal air throws, "crush counter", air tech/recovery, ground tech and especially start the match with max meter. Then A3 just added all those foreign mechanics at once... that's crazy. (just to make it clear i'm not bashing the game for doing that)
      For example A2 and CvS2 even have broken custom combos too, but they dont have all those other things together. And that fact combined with not much favorable move parameters, that prevented Dhalsim from beasting in those games as much as in A3. Good for us.

    Man... There were a few insane custom combos he pulled on you. Juggling you with HK and fireballs, teleporting over and looping it across the whole stage -- one looked like he used HP to hit you at half screen and knock you into some fireballs about to leave the other side of the screen!! I wouldn't feel bad losing 0-5, probably would be 0-50 if I tried.

    Justin never ceases to entertain me, which is why i love his vids. Hearing him complain about how cheap Dhalsim plays in SFA3 is rich coming from a guy that always plays Chun-Li, one of the cheapest and most overpowered characters in SF.

    Even the G.O.A.T. loses every now and again. It happened to Federer, and it can even happen to JWong. I'll keep watching, win, lose, or draw. Great channel.

    As I've been playing One Piece Burning Blood against a tryhard friend who plays on the small competitive scene.
    This reminded me how Luffy is usually top tier because of the concept of his skills work at the time to adapt em for a fighting game, fast long ranged attacks.

    Question: Since Dhalsim can flip out of custom combos, would it be better to go X or A against him to do more damage when you do hit him?
