I just bought this the other day. This gives me hope. I'm 39 so. I just started because I'm going to be 40 this month. I still look young but want to stay looking young. I also only drink water, eat healthy and workout. This will also help.
I am in Canada, and very hard to find OTC products with retinol in them due to regulations...but this is available and i am gonna pick up a jar this week :) Thank you so much for your review. you look amazin, i can;t believe you aren't wearing foundation and are 50!! beautiful! PS: did you prefer the moisturizer or serum? I did a lot of research and based on ingredient list and some reviews, the moisturizer seems to have more retinol it in as it's higher in the ingredient list. and I kinda like that the moisturizer is a 2 in 1 product essentially (I also plan on using it at night only like you and only every 2nd or 3rd day because my skin is sensitive)

@@78MooMoo78 I just keep my circles moisturized and wear glasses to conceal them somewhat. I refuse to paint my face with layers of concealer, corrector, and foundation everyday! That's just not practical!!😟

Thank you so much! Not sure what type of skin you have? Get to know the type of skin you have oily , dry sensitive. Burn easy is usually a good indication of sensitive skin. Keep it simple cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize. If you have oily skin the 3 step from Clinque is amazing. No 3. Change one product at a time. Give it at least 2 weeks to try a new product out!Hope that helps!Keep me posted how you are doing!

I have using roc retinol serum for about 1 year, I honestly love it, but saying that I can handle stronger retinol products, I would try the olay retinol but its a little pricey because roc is approx $17.00 a bottle versus olay at $28.00..but Im sure its very good too..
Yes I understand! It is more pricey. Also look at the size of the containers . I think the roc is also a little smaller too. Would be interesting to try. Maybe you can splurge one day! Thanks for watching!

Mayure Bg You can apply it when your face is still damp. Rub product in your fingers first. Press it into your skin. Wait 15-20 min to apply other products on your skin! Hope that helps!
It helps more wrinkles texture of skin. I would use a vitamin c or some kind of acid peel. If you have had freckles since you were very young, nothing will take those away maybe laser. Vitamin C helps a lot with age spots!

The Micro Sculpting Cream has Amino Peptide Complex II. Retinol turns over the skin , however for some skin types it can be to aggressive. This product has similar ways to do that, with the benefits of skin turn over, but less harsh side effects. I hope that helps I know that it a lot of info. If you are more sensitive skin ( burn easily) I would use the micro sculpting cream instead of the retinol cream.Thanks for watching!😀
peters harsher means stronger bc harsh means unpleasantly rough to the senses ., I use the micro sculpting cream already but I wanted to try the other ones because of a retinol ole said I should use the micro in the morning and the retinal in the evening what do you think

Get I to a good skin routine. Cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize.You don’t have to use expensive products. Keep your skin clean.wash brushes. Get to know your skin and it’s problems , dry oily combination. If you have the fine lines and you do all of those things I think you will see a difference! Hope that helps! Sorry so long!!😐
Serum would be used in the evening after clean skin. Try it for a few nights in a row. Make sure your skin can tolerate it. If so use 2x 3 a week. Make sure you add sunscreen in the day.30 spf or higher

I noticed that with my cell phone (esp. the selfie cam) the resolution is not as crisp as it can, especially on close ups. thereby i cannot see my real skin condition nor document it by photographs and videos. (i.e. I want to capture all the flaws and the grain of the skin so i can make proper comparisons for retinol use over time.) Meaning photos and videos look different from when i am in front of a mirror with good lighting and close up. Sorry i did not mean to imply you were using a filter or a beauty filter or anything. just commenting on the macro capability of equipment for realism. :) Of course this is different from hosting a video because the intent is different. Nothing will get rid of deep lines. Exfoliating and cream will help it appear less. The only thing that will help deep lines is fillet or Botox. There is no product topically that will get rid of deep lines!
Oh no! I just bought biotin and collagen supplements (supposed to be great for skin, hair and fingernails) and retinol at the same time (I’m 52 and realizing I need some help!) Maybe the supplements and retinol will even each other out🤦♀️. I need all of my hair at the moment. The problem with trying everything at once is I won’t know which thing is helpful and which isn’t ~ but desperate times call for drastic measures😄

I've been using .05% retin A( prescription ) I still have not seen fine lines go away. I have this one line going across my forehead..
Depending on how deep the wrinkle is. No sure if you have tried some of the acid peels. That helps too.
Thea , I too use the Retin A prescription about every other night. In that case when would I use the Purple jar of Olay ?

They have an eye cream for around the eyes. I wouldn’t use it around the eyes! Only use it up to the bone of the eye.
Why would you not use SPF50
You can use spf , but I would not go in the sun, retinol makes your skin more sensitive
