Hi Angie. Cheers to Friday nights with my RUclips girlfriend. This was a great video. I’m always particularly interested in what you have to say about skincare. You are also a walking talking billboard for great skin around here, as many people ask me what I’ve been doing to make my skin look so great and I tell them all about you. I’ve been sleeping on my wedge on my back now for 3 and a half years and use almost all yr skincare products. Anyone reading my comment who hasn’t tried Angies skincare routine, I’m the same age as Angie and was a sun worshipper inQld Australia which has the highest skin cancer rate in the world. Try laying 3 hrs each side using a mixture of baby oil and brown vinegar. I did this for years and had the deepest tan, looked a lot older than I was. I have had so many skin cancers cut out, burnt and frozen off that my dr lets me take my own stitches out with a special little thingy he gives me. But since using Angies skincare routine, I never leave the house without putting 50+on, use all my skincare and retin a, which I’ve been doing for about 4 years now, and I’m blown away by the results and positive comments I receive. So Angie, as always, thanks for top advice, I believe Angie has the best advice I’ve found on RUclips. Sending you sunshine from Oz with 50+ xx🌞🌺🏖
I'm so happy to hear you're a sunscreen convert!! But I had no idea you've had so many skin cancers removed... I worry about that too since I was also a sun worshipper. Thank you so much for sharing your skincare journey & I'm psyched it works so well for you!! xo ~a.
I'm the same age too, was a sun worshipper! I've had the wedge almost a year now, but started Angie's skin care routine about 2+ years ago and I get compliments on my skin a lot. I totally agree that Angie's routine and advice is bang on.
Tracey, I am so moved by your story...especially the part that your Doctor knows you so well, and is confident in your many experiences, to allow you to REMOVE the stitches. How my heart hurts for you. But THRILLED you are on top of the fight and not permitting C to stop you. I trust your story will be encouraging for all, and for all to recognize the importance in knowing ABCDE's of skin cancer and what to look for on change or progression of melanoma. Here's a friendly REMINDER : A: Asymmetry B: Border C: Color D: Diameter E: Evolution (change) ~ continued health and wellness to Angie's OZ friend. 💖
-Nellie -m hello fellow Queenslander. So happy to see yours and Tracey Higgins comments from my side off the world. I agree it is frustrating to see that a lot of the products that are mentioned are not available here. I know we can order from overseas but they become quite expensive. Do you purchase anything this is available here. Even Chemist Wharehouse has run out of some Cerave products. Just about to buy more sunscreen, could you let me know what you use? Have a fabulous weekend 😎
G'day Tracey. I live in Adelaide and wonder how you go about purchasing the products that Angie uses? Are you able to source items from Australia? What about the Australian Gold tinted SPF? Cheers, Tiina :)
People need to realize that these are HER opinions and experiences. She is not telling you to do the same. Why are people so mean to others for sharing their own opinions? She does what has worked for her. Period! Be Kind
I agree. I think I benefit from wearing a neck cream but I'm not going to attack Angie for her skin not having the same results as mine! LOL! If trolls must, please attack her skin instead! LMAO! 😂 I'll help you, say something like this: "your skin doesn't know any better" "your skin does not have PHD" "my skin is sensitive to gluten, yours should be too!" 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Her skin is perfect and beautiful. I'll definitely switch up a few things in my skincare routine and hopefully have some more positive results. Thank you Angie!
Only one issue with this list..For those of us with curly hair, a silk/satin pillowcase is an absolute must to help with frizz! I do think it helps with my skin as well. Alot of us are side sleepers and will never change. Cotton sucks the moisture right out of your skin. Silk/satin does not as much. Otherwise I agree with everything else!
I've been a side sleeper my whole life and I started to notice creases in my forehead and cheek, especially on the side I always slept on. The wedge does take a bit of getting used to, but now I love it, I settle into sleep right away and no more creasing! (plus it helps with flair ups of acid reflux!)
I was going to say the same thing. I haven’t never heard of using a silk pillow case for skin or waking up with perfect hair. The reason us curly girls use it is because it is far less damaging to our hair. Cotton pillow cases cause friction that we don’t need.
Someone gave me a satin eye mask that works fantastically to prevent that eye/cheek crease from side sleeping. Occasionally I take it off during sleep and am so bummed to see the crease when I wake up.
The silk pillowcase is a must for me. It's amazing for preventing frizz, tangles and breakage. It also isn't as porous and absorbent as cotton, so more moisture stays in your skin and hair.
Silk pillow case for hair: it’s supposed to help avoid breakage, I’ve never heard that it did anything for styling, that doesn’t make sense. I went through a period of high breakage and my stylist suggested I switch to a silk pillowcase because it’s gentler on hair during the night, and it’s been a gradual process but he was right.
Also, for us gals who are part of the curly hair community, sleeping on a silk pillowcase is the gold standard for minimizing frizz. There are even silk sleeping bonnets for curly hair! :-)
If you get lash extensions, it's supposedly gentler too if you're a side sleeper. I've found it helps a little. I tried the wedge thing. I always ended up on my side anyway.
It also helps from your pillowcase absorbing your skincare if you sleep on your side. My face tends to feel dried out with a cotton vs. a silk or satin one!
I have wavy and curly hair and I started to use a silk pillow case. I noticed less hair breakage and my waves were set in place. This meant I could use dry shampoo more. I can go two days w/o washing my hair. I wash my hair on the third day.
@@rogojo9853 I started using silk pillowcase when my daughter with natural black hair recommended it. Helps a lot with heat too and I don't sleep always on my back but don't get the "cotton wrinkles" I do with other pillowcases.
I also use a silk pillowcase, and it keeps my face from getting lines from regular cotton or cotton blend fabrics, I love it, been using it for years, and my hair looks shiny and healthy too.
I have started using an eye cream recently for the following reasons: - It is more lightweight than my moisturizer (I like thick hydrating/greasy moisturizers); - I use it right after toner or serum but before my retinol to prevent irritation around my eyes - it turned out that I am not so careful with the retinol transferring towards my eye area so I started getting redness and irritation there. It might be not necessary product indeed but I do not think that my regular moisturizer is very suitable around my eyes and I want protection for the delicate skin from retinol. This works great for me so far...
I also use an eye cream because my regular face moisturizer isn't enough under my eyes. If I use more of my face moisturizer under my eyes it just pills when I try to apply concealer. So use both under my eyes.
@@mave143 if you end up using a heavy moisturiser under your eye, you get milia which then need to be removed by a professional esthetician X my esthetician advisef not to use heavy moisturisers on my eye area as the skin is too thin under the eyes to be able to deal with it x
@@saharaowl9712 I have had this happen on my eyelids due to the heavier formula, and both my aesthetician and my derm told me to stop using face cream on my eyes. I can use Marula oil easily anywhere on my face for great moisture and have no issues with milia and can also use nice moisturizing eye creams with no issue.
Another good oil-based cleanser to remove sunscreen is Innisfree Hydrating Cleansing Oil with Green Tea. It takes even the toughest sunscreen off. I follow it with a gentle cleanser.
Just a shout out for a silk or satin pillow case....I got a satin pillow case to help with my hair. I sometimes wonder how I still have hair on my head with the amounts I lose each day...but a satin pillow case has made a difference in how much hair comes out over night. So for that reason alone, I'm a believer. I use a wedge pillow, but need a small pillow for neck support, so I use the satin pillowcase over the small pillow and I've never had a problem with slipping off. I just use the bamboo cover the wedge pillow came with, so it has enough grip to keep my head pillow from slipping down.
FYI eye creams are made for the eye area IE so that it doesn’t hurt the eyes if it travels into the eye. If you have very sensitive eyes not a great idea. When I got a little tiny bit of retinol in my eye I woke up to blurry, red irritated eyes. Swollen. To each their own but I’ll stick with my eye cream I know I can put right over my upper lids without waking up to a nightmare.
I agree, I tried using my facial moisterizer the other day and got a tiny bit too close to the cornr of my eye..15 min of tearing. ; ( I don't over pay but get an emollient eye cream that doesn't hurt my eyes.
@@loveisnotaghost is not true, if a “regular” cream hurts your eye area, is because that product is not suitable for the face, regardless, most of the eye creams out there have fragrance, essential “naturals” oils, straight up fragrance, SD alcohol and other terrible things, is really a waste of time, other than being richer in texture or greaser, they’re absolutely not different or ophthalmologist tested, my cousin worked at Development and Research at Estée Lauder, La Mer uses the same base as the most basic cheap drugstore moisturizer but people believe all the nonsense marketing hype, talk about ignorance 😆.
Hi, Angie I totally agree!! I am a woman from South America (Guyana) I don't use too much products on my skin. I am 56yrs old and everyone think I am in my early thirties. Nice to hear others advice and information. Thank you!
Hi Angie 👋😁, I agree with you on everything. I don't use "eye cream" or "neck/ deloitte cream" either! It's just a gimmick thing. I have also been "double cleaning" my face since I was a teenager. It just made sense to me! I also never have used a "scrub" or mask with what I call "grit" in it. Your skin is delicate, like a canvas..the last thing anyone wants to do is scratch or blemish a canvas!! I just turned 50 and people don't believe it. Great tips and thank you for your honesty! You look absolutely amazing!
I love my rosehip oil!! It is a little on the pricey side.. I order it off of line . I've been using it for over a year now and it is so amazing. And I use moisturizers on my face and neck and the back of my hands now. I have been doing my neck and chest and the back of my hands for about 6/8 months. And I am starting to see a difference in my skin. I am 41 years of age I wash my face twice once in the morning and once at night and then I put my creams and moisturizers and oils on my face and it seems to be doing the trick. I have a few Fine Lines around my eyes. I know that we're not going to completely stop aging or are skin aging LOL. But I can tell a difference and I get a lot of compliments on my skin. People do not think that I am 41 years old🤭 so that's a blessing for me. And it brings my self-esteem up. If you just try to stay out of the Sun and keep some kind of sunscreen on your skin and then moisturizer skin you're going to see tremendous results on your skin. Don't get me wrong I like getting in the sun I like having that sun-kissed tan to me. But I'm blessed I have Indian on my side of the family my daddy is Indian so I quite naturally have a light tan to me anyways. But now that I'm getting older I'm trying to take better care of my skin so now I try to get things with at least with SPF 30 or even do 15. But believe it or not some of the stuff is in sunscreen also helps with your skin to. But I love watching your videos you are a very beautiful woman. And I love getting tips off of some of your videos.....
The comments reflect how individual needs/results may vary. I've had dry skin my entire life, my undereyes, while not terribly wrinkled, saggy, or discolored, are forever dehydrated. I layer moisturizer over my entire face. I also use a dedicated eye cream and, when wearing makeup, a moisturizing eye primer in the inner corner and undereyes before concealer. That's what works for me. All to say, take in lots of information, figure out what works best for you, then do you. I think that underpins Angie's entire channel, and it's why I love her content!
For my first step to remove all makeup etc, I use Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Cleansing Oil. It dissolves everything brilliantly. Rinse it off. Then I get a cotton round and squirt a bit of Garnier Micellar Cleansing water in Oil for Delicate Eyes and Skin (the blue one). Wipe everything down. Anything that the cleansing oil didn't get, the cotton pad shows it. I rinse everything off. It's amazing how good this combo is. And bloomin' cheap ! Love your work, Angie. Thank you.
I have tried not using an eye cream. I didn't like the results, I had terrible lines and dark circles. Most eye creams have light diffusing ingredients that help with dark circles.
I have terrible dark circles/discoloration. One of my eyes always looks like I have a black eye at the outer corner. What do you use that actually works for dark circles?
Can’t live without my silk pillowcase. Not for wrinkles or hair, but as a side sleeper it doesn’t dry out my face the way cotton does. I used to wake up with such dry skin and my nightly face products were basically sucked out into the pillow case. Now they aren’t and I don’t have to rehydrate my skin every morning anymore. Plus it’s the feeling of pure luxury. It also helps since I AM a “hot sleeper”. At only $20 per pillowcase on Amazon it’s totally worth it! 💕

Yep, even Dr. Dray, our dermatologist influencer, loves her. P.S. you still absorb Vitamin D with sunscreen! If you live in a cooler, grayer part of the world like I do, in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, taking a Vitamin D supplement, or incorporating more into your diet is essential! I even use warm UV lightbulbs to "glow" up my apartment. Vitamin D is tantamount for hormone synthesis, among many other things, my fellow post-menopausal ladies! Great for your anti-depression regime for colder, grayer days...
@@sarafox3287but the proof is in the pudding her Skin is Immaculate looks younger than she did when I started watching her. So I trust in what she says! Perhaps for someone with extremely sensitive skin/eyes tia may be the case but most people use their skincare all over
if you want to waste your money on more products for your eyes that is your prerogative, but sorry Angie is more knowledgeable than you and your dermatologist that we don't know
Agree on the hyaluronic acid. I actually feel like it doesn't work adding it to my routine. It is like my skin feels dryer for some reason.. I do like my silk pillowcase though. I feel it keeps my night cream on, while cotton pillows absorb it or rubs it off. I also think it's really comfortable too 😌
100% agree. Hyaluronic acid is a gimmick product because the particles are too big to be absorbed by the skin. Your skin feels moister on initial application but then it starts to actually draw moisture out ultimately leaving your skin feeling drier.
What a dermatologist explained to me was this: HA creams pull moisture from your face to provide a temporary plumping effect. Eventually, it evaporates, causing dryness. Her suggestion was to layer another moisturizer on top of the HA product, or put the HA product on a damp face.
Apparently it matters greatly on the type of climate you live in. Hyaluronic acid actually pulls moisture from the air into your skin. It's like a magnet for moisture in air so if you live in a dry climate it will then pull all that dryness into your skin defeating its originally intended purpose.
So happy as much of what you've mentioned, I've done all these years. I'm 71 and always get compliments on my skin. I still have an oily skin and as a youngster had breakouts. Today I'm grateful for the oiliness. I have never used neck cream or eye cream as neck cream makes my neck break out and eye cream makes my eyes puffy. I do use an eye gel from time to time. I hate those face wipes and have never used them. They're also terrible for the environment. I use a milky cleanser first to remove makeup and then use a facial wash to washaway residue. I don't use astringent either.
I agree I don’t like Micellar water. But the only thing I do use it for is to remove hair dye off my forehead. It does that well but otherwise I don’t like the way it feels on my skin.
YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO COMPLETELY TOTALLY WASH YOUR FACE AFTER USING THESE!!!!! YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE COLD CREAM ON YOUR FACE AFTER TAKING OFF YOUR MAKEUP WOULD YOU? NO. YOU WOULD ALWAYS WASH YOUR FACE AFTER USING THE COLD CREAM/BALM. PPL CAN BE SO UNCLEAN!!!!! OR JUST LAZY.
I will confirm for an oily skin, like mine, the Australian Gold Botanical Tinted BB Sunscreen SPF 50 worked out great! It did control oil and primed the skin nicely. With an spf 50, perfect! There's quite an amount for the price, very reasonable. Will be repurchasing this! It's a challenge for oily skin. I've truly pleased with this and highly recommend.
Wow!!! Surprised by your silk pillow experience! While I do not sleep with my head elevated, I DO use a silk pillowcase & couldn’t live without it! I find (mostly for my hair) it makes a huge difference after it has been styled and, I figure if that’s true then it must help my face skin slip around a bit as well. Just my experience, but I have recommended them so many times to friends.
When you have naturally curly hair, silk pillowcases are everything. Also, anyone who claims silk will diminish wrinkles is...well...wrong. But silk is not as absorbent as cotton, so theoretically, if you are a side sleeper, your skincare will stay in place better overnight.
Hi Angie I'm with you. No extra creams. The one exception is I got an eye cream in one of m monthly proscription boxes. Upon reading the ingredients I noticed in contained ingredients targeting dark circles, like licorice root. Well I don't have dark circles, but had a stubborn spot on my temple close to my eye. I use proscription Retin A, but not close to my eyes. So I decided I have the eye cream. I'll use it on the spot and it began to fade. It is now almost gone. I feel the same about the silk pillowcase. I got one as a gift, but I have a Temperpedic adjustable bed and by morning the pillow was on the floor. I didn't want to waste it so I cut it and dyed it to make a decorative pillows for my guest room chair. The rest of the pieces I cut into little squares and made eye glass wipes and one silk sleep eye mask. I can't use my Retin A on my neck so my Dermatologist told me to take an empty jar add 3 Tbs Cereve and a half tsp Retin A mix and use that on my neck, chest and back of hands. I also can only use mineral Sunscreen. First I bought the Australian Gold and it was very drying on my already dry skin, so I added my hemp seed and rosehip oil to it so I could finish it up. My one oil is my Hemp Hemp seed + rosehip seed oil. I use it mornings after my other serums and Vitamin C. It is not thick and sinks right in and plays well with my Retin A if I ever get a flacky patch. If I find cheap make-up wipes I buy them to keep in my purse. I hate if my hands get sticky & use them as wipes. Or wipe finger prints off my makeup containers. Have a fabulous Autumn I have a pot on the stove with cloves, cinnamon sticks, pumpkin pie spice simmering and a Pumpkin Latte I'm sipping, on this first crisp morning.🎃🍂🍁🌻🎃
Silky- Satin pillow case excellent for not to have a wrinkle skin after when you wake up. Cotton pillow case leaves on the skin wrinkles. That simple. 🙌🏻
Hi Angie, I love using pond's cold cream to remove my eye makeup as well as removing my facial makeup too. I find it really moisturizing and almost like a mini facial, then double cleanse right after...😊
@@elainezdollz my mom'81 and has used ponds for all my life that I recall, her skin is still lovely and I use it too at 59, my skin is pretty good. I use many other products on my face but ponds is a great makeup remover and its the best eye make up remover ever.❤
Just started using my Timeless matrixyl. Moisturizers irritate my eye area. It is the only sensitivity I have. So an eye cream on occasion I appreciate. OMG. I LOVE my neck cream. World of difference in addition to my usual moisturizer. I use both. Wipes are for when you have no running water. Emergency only.
Just like anything else, using a silk pillowcase takes time. I actually prefer a satin, because they are Cruelty-free and less expensive. After one night, no I also didn’t notice the difference. But after about 2 months, I could absolutely 100% tell a difference in both my hair and my skin. I highly recommend the best selling ones on Amazon, a two pack is about $10 and I have 3 sets. Skincare is incredibly important to me, I have a background on chemistry so I enjoy the science of it, but more importantly I’ve had skin cancer and know the dangers of not being vigilant. If you’re looking for a great pillow too, I just bought a cheap two pack from tjmaxx for my base pillow, then ordered The Coop medium density from amazon as well. I’m only 34, but I am disabled and have had spine surgery and I’m having another next month. They are supportive, never lose their fluff, and are perfect for back or side sleeping.
I love that the products you endorse are inexpensive enough to slather into neck, chest, and back of hands. I have to say I slide everything (except retin a) up my forearms too and my crepiness is GONE!!! It had gotten really bad. The slightest twist of my wrist and my forearm would wrinkle SO BAD and now... nothing!!! Thrilled!
I started using the Ponds Cleansing Balm after I fell in love with the Clinique to save money. I actually prefer it and it is 1/3 of the price. The fragrance does not bother me at all. Then I use Cerve hydrating facial cleanser for my double cleanse. If you find yourself tugging anywhere on your face to remove your makeup, you are probably using the wrong product!! Good job as always Angie!
The reason I bought my silk pillow case was to help preserve moisture in my skin and help with irritation when my skin went berserk at the beginning of menopause. I find my skincare doesn't get absorbed as much by the pillowcase and my scalp is less dry and irritated. As Angie says, if you sleep with your face squashed into a pillow nothing is going to help that. I try to sleep on my back, but as I also have back issues pain can cause me to switch positions during sleep and end up on my side. Wedges don't help with this. And nothing will preserve a hair style if you are a tosser or grind your head into a pillow. The weight of your head alone will flatten hair. Silk does reduce friction slightly for hair so it reduces some breakage, but my advice is to check everything else you do with your hair ( processing, styling, products, implements, as well as your health) before relying on a pillowcase to treat hair damage or loss.
I use an eye cream/product that has caffeine as I get major puffiness under my eyes. You can’t find other skincare products that contain caffeine, nor would you really need it in other areas of your skin. For those with sensitive skin around the eyes some also contain a retinol formulation that is specifically for they eye area (although I am just able to use regular retinol). Otherwise I would agree with you. I use a caffeine containing product with my PM cleanse and just my regular moisturizer any other time.
Angie, as usual you hit a home run! So glad you addressed so many of these skincare products that we all wondered about. Since I started watching your videos several years ago, I have added many of your suggestions to my skincare routine and deleted many that were not necessarily good for me. THE BIGGEST THING THAT YOU TAUGHT ME WAS SLEEPING ON MY BACK CAN BE LEARNED! As a life-long side sleeper, my head between the pillows and rolling around all night, I thought it was not possible to ever sleep on my back. Well, I'm here to tell you it can be done with minimal effort and a little bit of perseverance. Since I've started this routine, I wake up with zero bags under my eyes and my face looks so much fresher without the dents and wrinkles I used to get. THANK YOU, GIRLFRIEND! I love how honest you are and all that you're doing to help us women look and feel so much better about ourselves! 💖
I tried the wedge and didn't like it. I bought an adjustable bed and it is great. The best part is you can elevate your feet slightly which makes it much more comfortable. It is worth the investment.
I've never understood why people DIDN'T wash their faces after using wipes or micellar water. I've had that conversation with people more times than I care to admit. As always, love your videos.
Right! I never used those wipes until someone gave me some as a gift, and even then I didn’t use them until I went camping. I took them with me to get mascara off and then absolutely washed my face. They were ok, but, still, I would never buy them.
I hate splashing water on my face at night..it wakes me up so the masala water works great for that purpose but I follow it up by wiping with a microfiber towel...SO it's the convenience of the product that holds its value and not that it is any better for cleansing
I also follow Caroline Hirons, skin care guru in the UK. She make a lot of the same points as Angie😊 Wipes are for festivals, flights and fannies only🤪
Face creams and eye creams may have the same ingredients but it's the % of each ingredient which makes it different. For e.g. you have oily facial skin but the skin under your eyes may be a lot dryer. The concentration/% of glycerine in your moisturiser may not treat the dryness under your eyes and using a moisturiser with more glycerine to help with the eye problem may be problematic for the rest of your face. This is why it's good to have separate creams for your face and under your eyes. Creams are not made the same and use heavier butters/oils for dry and delicate areas such as under your eyes. The same goes for the neck; it's very rare that your neck would be as oily as your face and you wouldn't want to apply the same % of ingredients on your face that is needed for a neck with dryer skin. We know these areas are a lot different because of when we use acids or retinoids. Great video, watch them all 💚💚💚
@@krystinasmr2761 it depends on your skin type and what suits your skin. You're not placing only butter on your skin which is also present in nearly all face creams
I use eye creams. I have really sensitive eyes. If I use face creams near my eyes, and get a tiny bit of product in them, they just water constantly for the rest of the day. I end up continually having to rub and pat them dry at the corners and it makes wearing make-up absolutely impossible not to mention being really uncomfortable and irritating 😕
I use eye creams, with that said, I’ve never had fillers, Botox or any kind of laser treatments. I’ve tried regular cream under my eyes, and I don’t see the same result as when I use an eye cream. Pretty sure it depends on each individual.
Hi Angie. I actually just started using eye cream after years of not and have found that quality eye creams are lighter in consistency and don't irritated my eyes like face creams do. I am using Drunk Elephant eye serum/cream and have seen significant improvement with dryness and wrinkles. In my eye area. Also I do have very dry skin
I bought the Australian gold, was a bit skeptical, because so many people said it was drying their face, my skin is super oily and I live in very humid climate, Australian gold is a life changer for me, it's not drying for me at all
I'm trying it, too. I have REALLY oily t-zone still, at 45. So I don't like creamy stuff that might break me out but would LOVE a product to dry some of that oil up!
I am in my 50’s, have a very dry skin and make a mistake purchasing Australian gold. Is way too drying for me. I have since discovered a fantastic product, Colorescience sunforgettable total protection which comes in 3 shades (I use glow) & is both moisturising and adds a lovely tint and natural glow to my dry skin.
Paula Begoun said we don't need eye cream years ago. It made a lot of sense, so I never bought one. My face moisturizer does an excellent job around my eyes.
A tip for anyone who has combo skin - use the Australian Gold on top of the Drmtlgy spf 45. Works perfect and doesn’t grab texture like using the Australian Gold alone and sucks up the little bit of oiliness the spf 45 can leave.
Hello Angie! I am literally putting Rose ship oil on my face at the moment you are talking about it! 😁 I love my oils, I have been using forever as I have a dry skin. It's my final step after my serum and moisturiser to lock all in. I do my face yoga every morning with avocado, jojoba or almond oil. It's my thing and I love it! It really works for me as I never had any plastic surgeries, botox or fillers and I am 49 soon! People are shocked that I have 25 years old son and 19 years old daughter. It makes me laugh all the time...👸✨😌💁
I use a gel that contains hyaluronic acid and other things first... then rose hip oil and then moisturizer.... maybe I’ll try oil last and see if there is any difference. I just love the way the oil softens the skin before the moisturiser.
Buggedt age change will cone after menopause. Before slight difference. Otherwise wait till menopause body changes a lot & will see a lot if dryness & sagging
I think the only time an eye cream would be appropriate is if your under-eye area is really dry, but your face gets really oily. In that case, I think it would make sense to get a heavier-duty moisturizer for your eye area (not necessarily one specifically labelled 'eye cream'), and a lighter one for the rest of your face. Or, if your face is acneic but your under-eye area is sensitive: in this case, you might use a moisturizer w/salicylic acid, or retinol, but those ingredients might be too harsh and inflame your under-eye area. Just a though, but I agree!
I have been watching Angie for a couple of years and have to say my skin looks so much better. Also I was applying my makeup the same as when I was in my 30's, yes I looked older, Angie's suggestions for makeup application for older people (I am in my mid 50's) was such a positive change for me. I also took her advice regarding shampoo and conditioner. Thank you Angie, you look friggin' beautiful!
I am Italian and have always been super, SUPER oily and I’ve never even used anything since my teenage years (when I needed the drying, acne cleansers and alcohol based astringents) other than just a bar of Dove! In fact, most nights, I just slept with my makeup still on to be honest!!! So, until I turned 40 last year and finally started to notice fine lines and wrinkles and a general crepey texture to my skin, I haven’t had a “skincare routine”! So, I REALLY needed this video!!! All of the products out there are completely overwhelming me and I have no idea what I need and what is just a gimmick so this has been VERY helpful for someone like me!!! THANK YOU!!!
I've been doing a double cleanse since my 20's when I stumbled across Erno Laszlo in Chicago. I still use the "bespoke" method of cleansing oil, soap, and controlling lotion.
Btw, thanks to Angie, ever since I discovered Timeless Vit C serum, it’s been staples of my morning skincare routine along with Timeless CoQ10 serum ❤️
Same! I had tried many other vit C products and finally decided to give Timeless a try after watching many of Angie's videos. I love it! Just ordered my 2nd bottle and dont think I'll ever switch to anything else. 😁👍
Agree with all bit the silk pillowcase. Not because of the skin though. They're a game changer for us with curly/wavy/unruly hair. Cuts down on the need for heat tools to tame the frizz.
I use an eye cream to depuff, because my other products won’t do that, bags are hereditary in my family and depuffing is essential, and then I layer with my other anti aging products.
@alicia, I feel the same way- I have puffs under my eyes, and find certain eye creams really to help with that! I really like some of the Estée Lauder eye creams...☺️💕
I too have hereditary eye bags and have spent a fortune (in UK) over the years - they are worse if I let my face cream get near my eyes - which one do you use?
Hi Angie! You are my anti aging guru! I loved all of these tips, I’d just like to add my 2 cents about silk pillow cases. I have had mine for nearly a year and I love it so much. I’m not sure about skin benefits, but my hair......all my baby hairs around my face as well as any broken hairs (fly always) have grown out! It’s incredible. When I put my hair in a ponytail (with a silk scrunchie of course) I have the smoothest hairline, no more hairspray or gel is needed. I am obsessed with my silk pillowcase. Too bad it makes you slide down.
I was surprised that my silk pillow stopped hair breakage and my face was less dry in the AM. All pillows are cool until we heat them up with our heads. Silk pillowcases are no different, I do not believe that they are colder. Like all things, it takes time to see any changes. You didn't say how long you had tried your silk pillow case.
Agree with 99.9 percent of your list! However, as a hairstylist I have seen many ladies with breakage in the crown of their hair abd it was because of the drag of their cotton pillow cases. The silk pillow remedies the issue! Also, I use the faux silk pillow from Amazon at 9.95 for 2 of them and I dont wake from my nap from side of my face nap wrinkles,ha. I wish I could sleep on my back but un fortunately not everyone can as I have disc issues. Otherwise I think your advise is very true and you have it seems done your research! Love your content👍😍
Thank you for your advices, even if I am younger, 35, I can relate a lot to your advise and experience. Finally someone amazing to follow, I am sick and tired of these fake “influencer’ girls that promote expensive products only because they receive them for free or because the marketing is very good. 🙏🏻
I agree with some of this but not all of it particularly in relation to sleeping in an elevated position. It may improve your skin(maybe) but it's very bad for your spine! Now, if you don't have any back issues maybe that's not a problem but a lot of people do, especially as they age, and sleeping with a neutral spine is extremely important. I sleep on my back on one pillow with another underneath my knees to keep my spine neutral. If I turn onto my side during the night I put the pillow between my legs. This has made a huge difference to my back and I really don't think anyone should be advocating sleeping propped up for the sake of eye bags.
Hi Angie, happy Friday! Great video, as always. I don’t use any of the things on your list except the silk pillowcase, and here’s why I do that: (1) I just can’t sleep on my back (I have a lot of issues that cause pain if I do so for more than a few minutes, and I snore, which makes my husband wake me up!); (2) I am in my 8th or so year of hot flashes, eps. at night, and I live in Florida (!!!), so yes, I need that coolness; (3) my hair has very open cuticles and needs the extra smoothness as I’m transitioning to my natural wavy hair (I think the silk is most important for wavy & curly hair with high porosity/open cuticles, so if your hair is smooth and straight with tightly closed cuticles, you won’t see a difference - also, it doesn’t change overnight - it often takes until you’ve shed the existing hairs and new ones have grown out); (4) I like that silk is less absorbent than cotton, so my skincare is staying on my face! Anyway, I always enjoy your content. Have a great weekend!
I have curly hair. What the silk pillowcase does for me is eliminate the dragging and pulling against my hair when I move around in my sleep. My hair is so frizzy when I don't sleep on silk. I don't notice any benefits for my skin though.
I just have to comment on the “silk” pillowcase. REAL silk won’t slide! I have ordered many from Amazon and some, even though they claim to be silk, are actually SATIN! Satin is cold and slippery...silk is not! I have used a silk pillowcase for years because my hair is dry, coarse and curly. Like others have said, the silk also doesn’t absorb my skincare like cotton does. I am a side sleepers and don’t wake up with a creased face using my silk pillowcases.
@@gill8779 And a good place to buy silk at reasonable prices (in the USA) is Dharma Trading Company. They sell lots of types of undyed silk, and two weights in many colors.
@@gill8779 I have bought some nice ones on Ebay from China. Always search for 100% silk and mulberry. I've gotten polyester satin crap about 20% of the time, but if they refer to momme it's probably real silk.
Absolutely! Not cold and don't slide! I bought mine from Soft Surroundings. Unfortunately, they've changed the style to a envelope closure instead of a typical pillowcase, like I have. Handwash and line dry. I bought one from Amazon. Said it was mulberry satin, it was thick, felt like satin, tag said machine wash and dry. Donated it.
pomegranate apparently does wonders for neck because it improves collagen and elastin production according to a plastic surgery and dermatology doctor here on youtube. As for human growth hormone a plastic surgeon recommends use of this after using a dermaroller.
Always appreciate your honestly and explanations in your videos. I never feel like I'm being sold too, I always just feel like I'm listening to a friend dish on what products they use! Thank you as always!
Two important thing you didn't mention about the silk pillow case is some people with super dry skin use it becasue it doesn't absorb products from the face like cotton does. Also it's great if you have really thin hair it doesn't tangle an mat the way cotton does. As far as oil cleansers the only really good one I have discovered is by Tatcha. It's pretty amazing and leaves the skin hydrated and super soft.
I don't think I could ever give up my Peter Lamas Naturals Detoxifying Citrus C Facial Cleanser. But, I may give that Neutrogena one a go. My face is so soft and clean with just the tiniest of Peter Lamas. Thanks for sharing Angie. 💗
I have a good question, lately people have been stating that Niacinamide cannot be used along with Vitamin C. I use CeraVe PM for my morning routine, which is when I use my Vitamin C serum. CeraVe PM has niacinamide in it. So what do you use in the morning for a moisturizer and your vit C.
I know some say Vitamin C and niacinimide are fine together, including Angie. I think it depends on the percentage in each protect used. Also most things I’ve read says there’s only a possible reaction with ascorbic acid as the type of C. I’m sure it’s different depending on your type of skin. I think I probably have mild rosacea. I for sure get red cheeks with ascorbic acid and a higher percentage niacinimide product, so I don’t mix them. YMMV.
Great list! I don’t use separate creams either but it’s because every eye cream I’ve tried irritates my eyes. Regular face creams don’t. So rub a little vaseline and/or castor oil on lids. It’s made a huge difference in how my eyes look and feel.
Angie, I know you are a back sleeper but I’m trying a specially molded memory foam pillow which is made for back and side sleepers. I am a side sleeper and at 60 it is showing on my face. I also splurged for the silk case that was a cool $65 extra ....yikes. I’m not sure that it does anything and the pillow, I assume will work IF one sleeps on it correctly. I wake up during the night sleeping on the center which is intended to cradle the back of the head for back sleeping so I’m not sure that this very expensive pillow will do anything to help the wrinkles caused by side sleeping (in case anyone reading this is considering buying one.) Also, I’m trying a breast pillow that straps on like a bra with the pillow part going between the breasts to prevent and possibly alleviate the dreaded chest wrinkles. It works pretty well -I’ll say that it definitely helps. I found this item for $10 on Amazon so worth the small investment. I’m just mentioning all this in case you would want to do a video on these things (excuse me if you’ve done one on these items already). Thank you again for all your very well thought out and researched videos! They are immensely helpful for we ladies over 60 in my case. You are so beautiful! 💖💖💖
The silk pillow case helps me not wake up with those wrinkles on my face. I also have wavy/curly hair, so it does help with frizz. I am not a back sleeper. I am a side sleeper. I do agree with the majority of your points, though. Thanks for such an informative video.
Hello Angie, Love your advice and am following most of your skincare routine and seeing very nice results! I do, however, use a silk pillowcase. It does actually work for me. I have crazy natural curly hair and the silk fibers allow the hair to slide more easily than the fibers of a cotton pillowcase. So for curly hair, I highly recommend!
Hi Angie, because of you, I started sleeping on a 7” wedge (Amazon) with YourFacePillow-anti-wrinkle pillow (Amazon) on top of the wedge. I also use small 12x20” down throw pillows on each side for my arms. Kind a look like a mummy, but I don’t move at all😍. I tried sleeping on my side with a body pillow again and I was absolutely miserable plus I have big bags under my eyes after, which I never had before. So thanks so much for the suggestion!!
I appreciate it when Angie discusses the scientific basis for claims, or maybe the lack thereof. Some advertised claims are hype. Glad to know my face is attached to my bowling ball head!
I'm glad our bowling balls are filled with brains instead of jello. You are helping us think for ourselves instead of absorbing advertising. Some of our ignorance is just innocent, we just don't know about these chemicals and what they really do or don't do. Thanks for filling our bowling balls with sensibility and improving our pocketbooks! Love a gal with a brain! 💌
Hot and flashy - Wow, we’re on the same page. I say “No” to micellar water, makeup “wipes”, eye creams, neck creams, all for the same reasons you cited. Now, you have me seriously considering a physical block sunscreen instead of a chemical sunscreen. It makes sense. Ooh, but don’t take away my facial oils (rosehip seed oil for fading spots and old acne scarring, and hemp oil for rough textural areas on my face and for added moisture)! No, to a silk pillow case. Been there, tried it (to protect my curls. It’s helping only marginally.) I always slide off.
Angie, my skin has benefited so much from your product suggestions and my dermatologist agrees with them too. Many years after I stopped being a sun worshiper I developed a tiny basal cell carcinoma on my face so I see her every 6 months to make sure everything is good. It's one of the reasons I don't use HGH. I've decided I need to get a wedge pillow and a pillow for under my knees due to hip, joint and lower back pain or maybe I should just be swaddled each night. 😄 Great video as always! XXOO❤
I know this sounds crazy, but plz bear with me, I had chronic back and neck pain for 30 yrs (car accident). I heard many phyto toxins aggravate swelling and joint pain, so I decided to go avo-vore for2 days to see if my joints wd feel any better. Had no idea it wd erase my back/neck pain completely in just one day!! Wasn't hard to do at all. Now I'm using a sort of elimination diet to find which foods were causing the inflammation. So far I've been fine with dairy, green beans, mushrooms, pumpkin and smallish amounts of berrie, and, of course,avocados...that's why it's called avo-vore. U may like to check out some videos by Dr Berry, Stephanie Keto Person, or Carnivore Yogi, if you're interested.
Since switching to your skincare routine my skin has never looked better! I switched gradually, adding products over time so the expense wouldn’t be so great all at once, and also to give my skin time to adjust. I’m so glad I found your channel because it has made such a difference in my 54 year old face. Love your videos!
@@user-zt6mb7nf3i The last time I watched the full routine she was using Colleen Rothschild Micro-mineral Soothing Toner. She doesn’t apply it the traditional way though, not with a cotton swab. She uses it more like a lotion applying it with just her hands. I use this one as well and I absolutely love it! My 20 year old daughter tried mine and she loved it so much she now uses it too. Angie also uses a green tea one sometimes but I personally like the Colleen Rothschild better 😊. I’ll see if I can find that video.
@@sheilabergstedt5650 Oh and do you use a mineral sunscreen? I have not found a good one for my skin yet (combo-light skin) but I want to buy some minerals. Or do you like chemical more? Unfortunately they sting my eyes.
@@user-zt6mb7nf3i I actually love Angie’s HG sunscreen, the Elta MD. It has a little tint to it. I’ve NEVER been able to wear sunscreen under makeup in my life without it destroying my foundation and making my face oily. But I wear this one every day, makeup or not, and whether or not I’m staying home. It’s perfect for me!
Hi Angie. I "bought into" the silk pillowcase reviews and met with disappointment. Listening to your advice and learning to sleep elevated and on my back was the best solution for under-eye circles and face wrinkling. Thanks so much!
So happy you were able to switch to sleeping on your back! It's one of the best things to eliminate chest & some face wrinkles + no shoulder or hip pain! xo ~a.
I use an eye cream as it doesn’t seem to burn and sting my eyes as much. I did not apply the face cream close to my eyes but it seems to gravitate Upwards and then the burning and stinging would start. I guess everyone has to use what works for them.
I find exactly the same happens. I have to use eye creams otherwise the irritation face creams cause is not worth the bother. I use eye creams liberally around the eye area with zero irritation. If I use a regular face cream, high end or drugstore, then my eyes are done in for the day, constantly stinging, irritated and watery. So uncomfortable!!!
@@ellie698 You don't need to spend a lot but eye creams are usually kinder to eye. I don't do a lot of things others do like putting liner next to my eye (doc told me not a good thing) and got an infection once or bad irritation. I take some advice and disregard the rest. Marketing and influencers do want you to buy.
I tried Elta MD after watching your video. Let me tell you...I am in love. Love the color tone, it matches my skin perfectly and it's beautiful for no makeup days. Thank you 😊
I have fine hair that's prone to frizz, and I swear by my satin-like pillow case.... Also, I've had no creases on my face since I started sleeping on one.... And I'm a side sleeper.... I've been trying to channel my inner Angie to sleep on my back, but my belly makes loud, weird noises until I turn on my side. Lol! I had heard that eye creams are a scam before, but now I have confirmation from my most trusted RUclipsr!
I drive a semi over the road with my husband and use the Costco facial wipes every night followed by a water rinse after. (It’s not always convenient to get to a sink). I rarely use eye makeup so the tugging isn’t an issue. I use them primarily to remove sunscreen and general dirt and oils. When I’m home, I do use a regular face wash.
I’m oily and use Australian gold tinted moisturizer based on your recommendation and it is LIFE!! My skin looks so good and I don’t wear foundation anymore! I touch up my sunscreen with the colorscience powder and it keeps my skin looking matt.
I can't understand why no one has mentioned using reusable makeup cloths! They take off all makeup including waterproof mascara without needing any cleanser. I have found it will also gently exfoliate! Less money and less in the landfill!
I think Caroline Hirons would approve. Her comment on EGFs was that after her mom's cancer, and the fact they used anti-EGFs, she's reluctant to use them. Other than that, she does like oils and she suggests putting them on before moisturizer. The only thing I'd add to this would be making a point of using the proper amount of product, especially when layering, because too much is more apt to cause issues like pilling (although that could also be caused by using products that don't layer easily together or putting them on in the wrong order). There is a product she loves, which I hadn't heard much about, and thats a vitamin D (think its a Zelens product that she loves.) What do you think about using a vitamin d?
Regarding eye creams, I like to use a separate eye product for 2 reasons. I like to use caffeine around my eyes to depuff that area specifically. Also, as an avid retinol user, I like to use more gentle retinol eye products that are specially formulated for the eye area. As an example, I tried using the 1% drunk elephant retinol around my eye area and my eye area freaked out; got red and flaked. Now I stick to retinol products made for the eye area.
Hey, Angie! While I do use my skincare products on my neck and chest, I added Gold Bond Ultimate Body Treatment Cream Neck and Chest Firming Cream to those areas and my decollete and neck ARE smoother! And while they haven't been "lifted," so to speak, I CAN tell that my "turkey flap" (LOL) isn't AS pronounced when I use this cream daily after my showers. It feels so much smoother with this cream than with JUST my facial products alone. I didn't expect a miracle or a "surgical" result, yet I do feel it is a very good product that makes those areas look and feel MUCH smoother.
Hi Angie! I found that some of the Korean chemical sunscreens are very soothing and non irritating. The Keep Cool Bamboo Sun Essence is one of them. I have quite sensitive skin and extremly sensitive eyes, yet this one is lovely and doesn't sting anywhere 😊
I L O V E my Bioderma micellar water (and recently found giant bottles at Costco for a steal). I use it to remove eye makeup and break down sunscreen, then I wash with a cleansing balm and sometimes follow that with a hydrating cleanser but sometimes just the micellar and cleansing balm are enough. I remove all traces of the cleansing balm with a warm washcloth.
My Mom who is over 80 years old looks about 65. She’s never done any fancy skin care her entire life. She only uses Jojoba oil and her skin looks amazing!
I really think a large majority on how we age is in our genes. Skincare definitely helps and I love it, but genes and taking care of yourself (not smoking, too much sun etc.) is the biggest thing.
I’m sure she was also born w great genes! I know that what she uses works as my grandmother only used one skincare item & she also had beautiful smooth skin!❤️
Agreed....my mother had excellent skin (thanks mom) and her philosophy was lots of oil and water...drinking both and using both topically as a way to hydrate. Really nothing fancy. Without going crazy on either, she ate healthy oils like olive, coconut, almond, etc. in cooking, applying lighter oils to her skin and drinking water more than other fluids like alcohol, milk, teas, etc. It worked for her and it appears to be working for me. Of course genetics plays a big part as well - her ancestors were all Norwegian.
@@HollyL56 - I agree. I think much of what we experience with our skin ( really, with our whole body) has to do with our genetic make-up. Some are luckier. Some, not so much.
@@CupCaked Right. My mother is in her late 70’s and looks youthful for her age and never did anything special. She isn’t even a skincare junkies like I am. I’m in my 50’s and hope to age like she has.
The reason I use an eye cream is because some of the regular face dreams burn my eyes and are too strong for my eyes. I also use the DHC cleansing oil and do not do a double cleanse because my face is so dry. It emulsifiers and thoroughly cleanses my skin. About twice a week I use Paula Choice cream cleanser after.
I particularly appreciate this kind of video. There are so many products to choose from out there and we are hit so hard with advertisements and advice. I love to hear the opinions based on science and trial and error. Thanks Angie. 🍂🍁🤎🌝
Just a few points. I guess, according to this, I do a triple cleanse ... LOL ... because I do use the cleansing wipes to first go over my face to remove any foundation and tinted moisturizer (I don't use them on my eyes and I don't scrub my face, just gently wipe) so that when I use my balm (my favorites are Take The Day Off and Physician's Formula The Perfect Matcha) I don't feel like it's such a mess and smearing around a lot of foundation and moisturizer. Then I follow up with the Neutrogena Hyrdoboost and I have discovered that the Vitamin Sea Minerals has two gel cleansers that I really like too. That is my nighttime cleanse. My very favorite face cleanser for the morning is the AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel Cleansing Powder. The powder totally dissolves into a luscious lather that feels so good on my skin and removes any overnight accumulation of oils. I have to totally agree with Angie about oils. I have fought oily skin my whole life, and even tho I am 70 now and not as oily as I once was, the last thing I want to put on my face is oil 😲
I guess I’m one of the lucky ones...... my neck loves Tretinion. I’ve been using it for almost 3 years now (3-5 times a week) and I’ve never had an issue. I’m at 0.1% and still no redness or irritation. But I do have to be careful around my eyes, they get bit red and dry at times.
@@nissirapatricia5795 absolutely! My neck has become much smoother/ softer and tighter. I use to have brownish-red spots on the sides of my neck that I had for over 20 years, they’re now completely gone. (btw I’m 48 years old).

I use silk pillowcases and a small wedge but sleep on my side and back. I think the height and silk help, I don't see deep wrinkles etc.
My Mom and Nana always' slept on a silk pillowcase, I'm carrying on the tradition. Do notice a difference when I don't.
I have started using an eye cream recently for the following reasons:
- It is more lightweight than my moisturizer (I like thick hydrating/greasy moisturizers);
- I use it right after toner or serum but before my retinol to prevent irritation around my eyes - it turned out that I am not so careful with the retinol transferring towards my eye area so I started getting redness and irritation there.
It might be not necessary product indeed but I do not think that my regular moisturizer is very suitable around my eyes and I want protection for the delicate skin from retinol.
This works great for me so far...
I am opposite in that I need a more moisturizing eye cream than I do a face moisturizer so I, also, use a dedicated eye cream.
You would do better to use your "heavier" face moisturizer under your eyes before retin a. Eye cream is such a waste of money!
Completely agreed. They are ophthalmologist tested for good reason. I can't believe the ignorance surrounding this.
She doesn't need eye cream because she has botox and fillers !!

I did see a difference with Gold Bond (which is cheap) for neck vs just cerave. Maybe wont last, but wrinkles seemed less after a week using.
I've known women who used that apricot scrub on their faces! I always used it on my rough feet in summer. LOL
Yes, because some eye creams are a bit tinted..The tint helps corrects the dark circles..
I have terrible dark circles/discoloration. One of my eyes always looks like I have a black eye at the outer corner. What do you use that actually works for dark circles?
@@MsBianca78 for me All About Eyes by clinic helps a lot.

Great for your anti-depression regime for colder, grayer days...

if you want to waste your money on more products for your eyes that is your prerogative, but sorry Angie is more knowledgeable than you and your dermatologist that we don't know
Agree on the hyaluronic acid.
If you use hyaluronic acid, you must put on a moisturizer after applying the HA. Otherwise it will draw the moisture from your skin, making it dry.
Apparently it matters greatly on the type of climate you live in. Hyaluronic acid actually pulls moisture from the air into your skin. It's like a magnet for moisture in air so if you live in a dry climate it will then pull all that dryness into your skin defeating its originally intended purpose.
@@LilituCaprinae as long as you put a good moisturizer on top of the hyaluronic, it will still work, even in dry climates.
My one oil is my Hemp
Hemp seed + rosehip seed oil.

Which one do y'all use? Didn't realize there were so many :-) I"m 45 with dry, acne prone skin :-(
Just started using my Timeless matrixyl.
This is very helpful information that you shared. Thank you 😊
I hope your surgery goes well 😘😘😘
I love that the products you endorse are inexpensive enough to slather into neck, chest, and back of hands. I have to say I slide everything (except retin a) up my forearms too and my crepiness is GONE!!!
It had gotten really bad. The slightest twist of my wrist and my forearm would wrinkle SO BAD and now... nothing!!!
Thrilled!
I use a silk pillow case so that the fabric doesn't "pull" on my thinning and shedding hair.
I like the scent. Thankfully, fragrance doesn't trouble me.
Same! I think its so nasty!
She make a lot of the same points as Angie😊 Wipes are for festivals, flights and fannies only🤪
Me neither! It is a cleansing agent which is meant to be washed off.
From my understanding, the silk pillowcase is meant to prevent hair breakage, nothing else. Oddly, when I sleep propped up, my eye bags are worse.
Yep thats exactly what the silk pillowcase is for
Face creams and eye creams may have the same ingredients but it's the % of each ingredient which makes it different. For e.g. you have oily facial skin but the skin under your eyes may be a lot dryer. Great video, watch them all 💚💚💚
I agree. If you use heavy creams under the eyes with shea butter, etc. you will get milia lol
Same.
I think you can mitigate this by touching your eyes last, so there’s barely any left on your finger.
I had the same problem until I switched products.
Me too!
I use eye creams, with that said, I’ve never had fillers, Botox or any kind of laser treatments. I’ve tried regular cream under my eyes, and I don’t see the same result as when I use an eye cream. Pretty sure it depends on each individual.
Lol. No. You're experiencing visual dissonance.

@@mave143 Drunk Elephant is superior quality with no chemicals additives. Have no idea why you would say it is junk ?

I am wondering if you have ever tried/studied the Epionce skin care line? I would love to know how it would compare to other items.
Pillowcase is more for hair than skin. I use a basic satin cover. If you have curly hair, it is a must and stops my hair from tangling at night
@@snapsforgeisha try it last. I do too
Buggedt age change will cone after menopause.

Where do you order your pillow cases from? I would like to get one, but want a good one.
And incidentally, Angie, pure silk pillowcases actually work! They ELIMINATE facial creases on my 10lb head!
Cleansing wipes are also terrible for the environment on top of that
I know. It's disgusting the things the government allows on the market which only do harm.
I like the Bioderma wipes. They are biodegradable and the packaging is recycleable. Still cleanse with a proper cleanser after.
Damn, i just got a package..knowledge is power
It's based on old, outdated studies. Vitamin C works fine with niacinamide. Check out Dr. Alexis Stephens here on RUclips.
Can you share the amazon link for breadt pillow? Thanks!
LOL!!
Hi does Angie use a toner? I dont think so. But curious why...
@@sheilabergstedt5650 Okay thank you! I wil look into that one.! :)
It's one of the best things to eliminate chest & some face wrinkles + no shoulder or hip pain! xo ~a.
A silk pillowcase does wonders for my hair😊
@@AngieHotandFlashy but if you snore on your back it’s a problem for hubby!
Yeah the silk pillowcase is pretty much just for helping hair.
I agree about silk pillowcases. I learned to sleep on my back five years ago and it's a GAMECHANGER for my face! Enjoyed ur thorough vid. XX
I use an eye cream as it doesn’t seem to burn and sting my eyes as much. I did not apply the face cream close to my eyes but it seems to gravitate Upwards and then the burning and stinging would start. I guess everyone has to use what works for them.
Same. Plus, for me, I need facial products that are less emolient than what I need around my eyes because I am prone to acne.
@@MelindasNaturals Me too, I get milia if too much and I had stinging for 15 minutes and tearing when I tried to not use it. I'm just sensitive.
Avene - works well as a "neck cream" for me.
Where do you get yours? I’ve tried a few and haven’t cared for them. Would love to find one that works.
Angela Burns I think I got mine at TJ Max. In Australia they have them at Chemist Warehouse.
Bed Bath and Beyond has them. I got a 4 pack for $9.99 there and they are amazing.
Keep cool is one of my favorites!
I have been wanting to try Korean sunscreens! I may have to give this one a try! 😁
Thanks for posting this. The stinging in my eyes is a real killer!
You ARE lucky!
That’s so great been using 1% retin a for 7 years and still cam out it in the neck! Do you apply anything on top?
@@MyMaria1224 I usually apply one of my many moisturizers. Belif Moisture Bomb is my favorite.
And do you see any improvements on your neck?
@@nissirapatricia5795 absolutely! My neck has become much smoother/ softer and tighter. I use to have brownish-red spots on the sides of my neck that I had for over 20 years, they’re now completely gone. (btw I’m 48 years old).
