- In this video, I will band up the Wasp Venator with some Omega Slings White .5 and take my first shots with this elastic. This is a first impressions video and not a review, so there is lots of shooting just to get a feel for the bands.

I tested some exercise band and it was 177fps useless!
So im going to gzk green 0.75 for winter. Between 230fps and 260.
Im only judging your by the sound cos i remember from testing mine on chronograph
@nathangrueber9834 ya for sure higher. These .5 bands did great in -5 weather. I didn't even tune them. For cold weather I do go up in size .6 or .65 for 8mm steel.

Good to see you being able to get out shooting again Mark. I just received 2 rolls from Omega one - 50 and one - 55 hoping to get to see how they preform today judging by your video I have no worries 😅😅. I was telling Mikey about the bloody tax I got caught with when they came in to Germany was 12 euros bugger, that worked out for me too 33-73 us dollars per roll. But on the bright side Dan Leighton is going to be stocking Omega slings which is great. It will make it more cost-effective for me to keep getting the bands. Take care of Mark. 😉👍👍👍
I got caught with taxes on my order for my hoodie. They got me with an extra $27. Not the end of the world, but I would rather burn that money than give it to my government. Lol I think you will enjoy this elastic. The draw is beautiful.

Took so long to be released by customs. I was hoping to do a first impression video and then a review. I will have to do one in a few week.
@ATOMark yeah I feel ya, I lived in Windsor, ON for 9 years, and getting anything shipped from home was a nightmare. Saying that I have 3 slings stuck in customs right now from Omega. I've been waiting forever lol. looking forward to the review too.
Nice shooting Bud. I'd like to see those bands over a 'chronie' they seem to be hitting pretty hard on your video. Especially at that temperature.👍
I will do a speed test and review eventually. They shot great in these temperatures, and they weren't even tuned bands.

My Favorite bands GonChi white. Very similar draw but I think these are faster but I would need to test that.
Omega bands are a solid pick 👍 Ato do you have any of those new precise bands coming? Most stretchy bands I’ve used to date. I got full butterfly by cutting them at 230mm with .4 bands.
I haven't seen them. What are they called. I'll check them out. I wasn't a fan of Jinpu.
@@ATOMark it’s Cyan bands on precise’s website, I agree Jinpu was not my favorite. These are completely different! Seems like they went in the complete opposite direction.

Hey buddy great video do you like having your bands on with clips better then tieing them on like you have on your slingshot today. I never tried tieing any bands on my slingshots because i dont have any frames with out clips but in your opinion what do you prefer my friend.
I am a clip guy all day. The 2 frames I like with no clips are the venator and the ranger recurve.

The Tomahawk is a great slingshot but the Venator is one of my favorites.
I can learn a lots of things from your video.Is this temperature(-5 degrees),your release hand you can use within 5 minutes?From Japan.
The -5 is the temperature. -5°c. The cold tends to slow down all elastic. These bands performed well in these temperatures.

@user-ms9pp7jv6y no as far as winter goes this is very warm for us. Yes I do feel the cold but -5c is a very mild winter. I'm my area it can get to -40c.
This video took 2 hours to film I could shoot in these temperatures all day with no wind.
Another question.Do you feel differrence winter and summer of air resistance.( For example between 20 degrees and -30 degrees)Air of summer is expansion,air of winter is compress.Probably air resistance of winter is stronger than summer.Do you feel obviously or does not matter?

I would have to assume that the summer has more resistance. The air in summer is very dry. Summer it is very humid and atmospheric pressure is higher. This is just a hypothesis though I would have no way to measure it.
How many mm is your rubber and steel bal?
.5 elastic tapered 22-12. 8mm steel

Use Chili 🌶️ Peppers as targets.
