Richard's deck idea is insanely creative!
It's so mean! I love it XD
But I’m confused. How does Richard have the third piece in his deck if Tomer built his deck?
@@crawdaddy1234 i was curious myself how that worked, and how it was executed via MTGO (and/or keeping it under wraps)
@@crawdaddy1234 Richard swapped out one card in the deck I gifted him with the kaldra piece. It just so happened that one turtle in my list is basically non-existent on MTGO so it was an easy swap.
@@crawdaddy1234 I like to believe he took it a basic guy the last piece
Kaldra Incompleat is definitely the best troll. But flooding Crim with basic forests comes very close.
It would've been perfected had there also been a singular Field Of The Dead
Richard's build for Tomer with the idea of finding a key piece on someone else's deck is really interesting
Yeah that really took advantage of the theme in a fun way.
But how did he manage to actually get the card in his deck when tomer built it?
@@JonaxIIa card from tomer's decklist wasn't available on MTGO or something.. and the editor who was a neutral party was probably given the instructions by Richard to do so.

Seth shouldve realized that Crimm built his deck when he realized he had mana issues even before the Negator destroyed him
I can't explain the immense joy it gives me when Richard uses his full brainpower to troll Tomer, his potential is truly unmatched when he's given the proper medium to do so.
1:08:13 "Just to get cards out of my hand, I guess I'll play this howling mine" has to be one of the funniest things I've heard on commander clash
Seth should have given Crim Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth as well, so that his Forests were Forests in addition to their other types!
That would have actually given Crim an easy win with his Gaea's Leige because everyone's lands would've been forests
his deck didnt have it. Its all basics and dryad arbor
@@cockman8437 yeah, that's why I said Seth should have given it ro him.
To put Glasses of Urza in the deck in order to spot Shield of Kaldra if in Hand, just genius. And I m so glad it did work out
I love the Kaldra troll, and it's great content. at 26:41 I can see the piece is in Richard's hand, and Tomer has Glasses of Urza in his hand; Tomer only has enough mana to play the glasses and is passing his turn without playing it. It's hard to resist the urge to shout at my screen "No Tomer! Just play your Glasses! No! No! Don't end your turn NOOOOO!". lol.
i am in so much awe of Richard's creative juices. what a brilliant concept and execution of a secret santa deck. the simplicity, novelty, and elegance of splitting the pieces between the two decks and building Tomer's list to find the specific piece in his own deck... pure genius. many props/kudos/and a very humble 'we're not worthy'.
Thank you all as always for the stellar content and entertainment.
"Turtles are like, really slow birds' That needs to become merch, please make a shirt with that!
This episode is peak comedy. I would love to see this as a recurring thing every season.
Also.. at the end everyone should write down who their guess was and reveal it simultaneously. There should be points for guessing correctly and making other people guess wrong.
Tomer, the saying is "tails never fails" and was clearly the better option
Awesome episode, in spite of the *womp womp* ending. I was so invested throughout the game in seeing if Tomer would figure out the hidden theme of the deck, and then once he did, see if he could eventually put it together. Props to Richard for the amazing deck idea.
By far the best chemistry of any commander RUclips channel out there. The chirps are hilarious.
So many great things to say (Kaldra Incomplete!), but my favorite is Tomer thinking Turtles were trash, only to prove Richard right about "bad tribe tribal" being an OP deck style that popped off.
Please do this again soon! This was the best episode of clash I've ever seen so far imo!
1:56 Crim goes “55 burgers, 55 fries, 55” i started dying 😂😂😂
Tomer trolled so hard that he built a deck better than he usually builds for himself
Richard's deck he build for Tomer is actually the funniest thing ever
When Seth was going to 2 from his own enchantment, I half-expected Tomer to bounce something to his hand with Capsize in response to the trigger for lethal.
54:48 if only you knew how much text cards would have these days… you’d never joke about less flavor text
Blim is actually the PERFECT troll deck for Seth. He never wants to play his Commander, so the deck was destined to destroy him. Lol
Genius level Richard troll. Now to up the ante: Split up Kaldra and worldslayer between the whole pod and see who can assemble it.
Richard: that was an AMAZING gift idea! Way to really think about it from multiple levels!
I liked this theme quite a lot, and I really wish Tomer had realized what was going on with his deck sooner.
Favorite episode in a long time! The gift ideas, the plays (and misplays), everything was just brilliant! Happy Holidays Goldfish!
Lol the initial guesses at the beginning were so funny 😂
I love how everyone knows how everyone builds decks so they can kind of troll each other with who built the decks actually
Seth, as I am also a Blimm player, you NEVER play the Phyrexian Negator until you are sure you can give it away. You shouldnt have cast both the commander and the Negator on the same turn. Hold up three mana and threaten a Bedevil, unlicensed disintegration, or wicked end. You set yourself up for failure, Seth.
28:55 Just realized Kaldra's shield's been in Richard's hand the whole time and tomer has glasses of urza lol
This was incredibly entertaining. I watched the whole thing, and Richard's Kaldra troll was ingenious.
Richard making a "Meh, is it going to be damage to yourself and painful creatures...?" idea and turning it into something diabolical and interesting.
Absolutely loved this game. This was amazing. Richard's troll on Tomer is top tier
Richard's deck design was the best, but Seth was the only one to guess right on who built his deck he was piloting. Great stuff all around!
Insanely hilarious deck Richard built, so funny for this game. Great job
This was a lot of fun to watch. The Kaldra deck was my favourite. Very creative, keep up the good job guys.
"Tails never fails", Tomer.
If it rhymes, it's true.
This was a fantastic episode. Richard's plan was just genius!
21:08 this is an interesting moment i think because crim attempts to make reference to tomers love of dralnu, but the way he describes dralnu is too close to tomers current commander, so it confuses him into seeing a synergy that i don't think crim noticed at all
As a seasoned Turtle tribal player, watching their reactions to turtle cards that I have been playing for years brings me so much joy.
Hey Tomer, about your one piece turtle question. The only Turtle I can think of in one piece isn't a pirate. But he does pulls a car for transportation for one of the characters in the Alabasta arc while smoking a cigar and thats pretty neat
Not Tomer staring at a boompile calling it a crim deck
Oh man, the fact that Crim thought that his deck was from Tomer because there's so many basics just makes the troll by Seth even sweeter!
"to get cards out of my hand I'm going to play this howling mine" lol
Richard may have created the greatest deck Commander Clash has ever seen.
Tomer: "Heads always wins"
I believe the saying is "Tails never fails", good sir!
Thanks!
What an amazing episode. So fun and creative and everyone was having a blast. A perfect season finale.
"Turtles are like the Hobbits of nature." - Seth, 2023
Man I love Richard's idea for this deck, it would've been really funny if Tomer actually pulled it off! Also all the more interesting that Tomer had a missing card that conveniently morphed into the Kaldra piece.
Please do this at least once a season. Greatest game I've seen in a while.
Seth putting the phyrexian on the field when blim couldn't attack spiked my blood pressure. I guess the theme of the week was trolling the audience 😅😂
OMG 4 minutes in and I am laughing soooo much. Richard so a brilliant idea! XD
“Turtles are like really slow birds.”
- Seth, prooobably better known as SaffronOlive
feels like the mtgo crash at the end of game influenced their decision to switch to paper in season 16. 2+ hours of gameplay only for mtgo to crash feels bad man
Richard's deck idea would've worked beautifully in the game that Tomer played with CardMarket where his secret win condition was to assemble Kaldra
This was one of the most entertaining episodes of the year guys 👌
Crim constantly forgoing to activate the Gaia's League titled me so hard. he basically had a green Blood Moon.
LOL, it is not the first time Richard plays turtles… Long long time ago, Richard built a ninja turtle deck!
It's been 60 seconds and if Richard doesn't win I will be mad. The BEST idea hands down.
Crim tilted at Tomer bouncing his land after he wipes 3 of Seth’s lands is the iconic commander player 🤣
Tomer: I think keep Seth around he's a wild card.
Seth *instantly does wild card things
Tomer: If you go for Crim's face Ill crack O Stone - I dont want to
Seth: I dont want to discard!!!! - O stone
Definitely my favorite commander clash! Happy holidays
As painful as it is to say it, the deck for Seth was perfect. He never rarely plays his commander, and suffered for it this time - there were so many cards that were so great to use against his opponents, yet he went for the greedy card draw instead of a single turn of setup to avoid all the self-inflicted damage. lol...
Great content. First time i ever really watched an mtgo vid 😂
That’s certainly a way to pronounce captain n’gathrod
This episode was great! Richard's deck! mindblown. What a idea!
Tomer and Seth did such a great job at impersonating eachother
game idea: each player gets one piece of Kaldra or Worldslayer whoever can steal all three pieces from the opponents, make Kaldra and trigger Worldslayer wins.
Another week of Tomer not quite understanding the prompt
1:54:03 lol Tomer just takes a sip 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Richard's troll deck idea was definitely the best. The only way it could have been better is if Tomer's deck had *no* Kaldra pieces in it at all, and instead each opponent had a single piece in their deck.
Then how would he have known anything was missing?
@@AidanL17 Give him a primer with the deck that informs him of his secret mission: Assemble Kaldra!
Theme suggestion: you all build decks like Richard did, with combos, so you all have to try to steal one of your combo pieces from another player.
I actually have a deck similar to what tomer was playing.
I run half of a bunch of classic combos, flicker cat, kiki, exquisite bond, demonic consultation (without the oracle), Naru meha, phage, abyss peer, etc and I spend the game trying to seach my opponents libraries for other halfs of the combos
There kinda is a Turtle Pirate in One Piece. His name is Pekoms.
He ate a magical fruit that grants him the ability to turn into a tutle.
Archeos is such an awesome commander. So many ways you can build it.
Based off Crims deck in Battle Cruiser magic week, I was expecting him to make a troll tribal deck. Thrun, mossbridge troll, clack bridge troll, ect...
richard made the best troll deck. S+
Oh no, another crash! Crim had it for sure though.
Anyway, Richard's Incomplete Kaldra deck is absolute genius!
Always love the gift decks episodes. For next time though, wouldn't it be more fun if everyone names who they think built their deck before you reveal who it actually was? Because now for Richard and Tomer they had only 2 more options instead of 4.
36:45 I thought you used to say, "Tails Never Fails" Tomer? 😏
As someone who just built a Blim deck, I’m glad to see my silly little guy
Hahah “turtles are like the hobbits of nature”
Crim we have had enough misery. Can we order some pain and agony this time off the menu lol.
Good video 💯🎄🎅
Archelos is VERY underappreciated in my book. He makes a great STAX/POLITICS commander. Make everything enter tapped, lock down with stasis/winter orb and use commander to play around them. I played it for a couple weeks and everyone complained so much I took it apart.
I need to say it again. You should get fans to do your "Clash On!".
Crim's deck should have been called "All Will Be Green".
Such a great and funny game! loved this episode
Someone should absolutely make a Kikijiki deck for Tomer next year, given that's the card he's most famous for.
It would have been hilarious for Crim to cast Wood Elemental near the end and get a 20/20 by sacrificing most of his beloved forests.
I'm disappointed that nobody built Troll tribal.
They already did that on a similar episode a couple years ago, where Richard got a Troll deck: ruclips.net/video/OosxFNtr7d0/видео.html
After watching this episode, now I want to submit a troll commander deck for viewer submission to see if they want to play it 😂😂😂
Gaea's Liege got a lot better thanks to Agatha's Soul Cauldron and I'm happy he's relevant again after all these years, but I didn't expect to see him without help
Yessss, this is always one of my favorite themes!!!
Lol Seth framing Tomer by giving Crim a mono green deck was a 5 head play.
Watching Crim play mono green is hilarious
This might be my favorite episode of clash. I'll point out that cyclonic rift failed to win the game.
It was also just cast for mostly no reason and would have been much better later.
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" 'Tis the Season! Will Tomer gift out enough coal to make everyone else look like the real Santa or will Seth find new ways to spread the xmas spirit? Tune-in to find out!
1:56:30 Why would Seth cast and give away Demonic Lore here when he instead could cast and give away Experimental Frenzy?
It would still have given him the chance to find a land from top of his library and more importantly - giving the Experimental Frenzy away to Crim would stop Crim from casting Genesis Wave and also make Mind's Eye useless.
He would also be guaranteed to live, since Crim traded away all his creatures and noone of the other players would want to kill Seth as it would unlock Crim again.
