Originally based on the 737-700, Boeing announced the redesign of the MAX 7 derived from the MAX 8 at the July 2016 Farnborough Air Show, accommodating two more seat rows than the 737-700 for 138 seats, up 12 seats.
The redesign uses the 737-8 wing and landing gear; a pair of overwing exits rather than the single-door configuration; a 46-inch longer aft fuselage and a 30-inch longer forward fuselage; structural re-gauging and strengthening; and systems and interior modifications to accommodate the longer length
Embraer E190-E2
The E195-E2 (EMB 190-400) will be extended by three seat rows from the E195 by 2.85 m (9.4 ft), and will accommodate up to 144 seats.
In February 2016, Embraer announced that it had decided to increase the E195-E2's wingspan by 1.4 m (4.6 ft) for greater lift, along with a MTOW increase of 2 t (4,400 lb) to extend its range by 450 nmi (830 km) at sea-level starts, and 250 nmi (460 km) in hot and high conditions.

I my self like both of the aircraft! When an airline orders and aircraft they will order an aircraft that meets their needs! So in my opinion I believe both aircraft are brilliant design’s👍
Class wise E195 but between the two, the 737 Max 7. So many things you can do with that plane and its amazing! Best plane in the 130-160 plane seat market not to mention for BBJ.

Tirar um concorrente de peso como a Embraer é garantir mais vendas para a Boeing, o Embraer 195 E2 em tamanho de aeronave só perde para o Boeing 737-900 e mesmo assim por pouco, também em números de passageiros pois o Embraer conta com fileiras 2X2 e os Boeings com fileiras 3X3.

Range n economy matters
Se o E190 E2 tivesse ganho um tanque de combustível melhorado o modelo seria o avião do milênio,lhe falta o alcance de um CS 300 e ou de Boeing 737MAX,pois,4.800 km é pouco,visto que o avião pode levar até 146 pax.A engenharia da EMBRAER pecou nesse quesito tão importante atualmente.Se o avião brasileiro tivesse esse tanque robusto ele faria sem erros um coast a coast EUA e Europa,ou até mesmo uma ligação Brasil x EUA e seria um avião perfeito,um erro de engenharia grotesco que com absoluta certeza a Boeing ira resolver assim que colocar a mãos na EMBRAER.
Penso diferente, penso que a embraer queria atingir outro nicho, se ela quisesse esse alcance, ela teria feito.

I can't which one this plane, because i like the Boeing and Embraer.
1. That control with Yoke.
2. The range to landing can be at Indonesia. The country many island. You can going to many island and provice.
3. I Like the Sound that plane.
4. The design is very nice and good.
So Embraer e2 more suitable use in indonesia and many airlines in Indonesia lot of using 737 classic/Ng/even max models,domination .
