I feel like once we're done with Moltres, they might leave Galar before seeing the rest of the Legendary Birds
Galarian Moltres did not disappoint for its debut when it struck down Cap with its Flying onslaught of Air Slash, Wing Attack, & Hurricane!!! (and I think Fiery Wrath, but that might've also been just it exerting its dark energy). And a small bit of joy I had was we finally got to glimpse at Conia's Golduck fighting (although it only basically revealed a Scratch attack; maybe it sorta makes sense in another way now how Liko & Sprigatito beat Conia). I Also couldn't believe it was Zir who recommended the Slurpuff Cotton Candy to Dot on her Nidothing channel!! Plus it was cool to see Ceruledge revealed to have Weak Armor as its ability
Although Friede vs Amethio seems like an even match, I do think Liko & Roy would have wiped the floor with Zirc & Onia hahaha
can't wait to find out the mystery of the black boot in Pokemon Horizons episode 54
I'm putting it right up there with the GS Ball and Nanu knowing Giovanni when it comes to Pokémon anime mysteries

Huh. Galarian Moltres seems interesting and also gives another indicator of how powerful Lucius was. To have at least 2 legendary pokémon on his team... the guy must have been really powerful in his time. I wonder if Arboliva was his starter? In any case, taking a look at the scene where the adventurer and six pokémon are depicted, there are two more birdlike pokémon (though the one second to left could also be a dragon-shaped one). I wonder if the anime plans for the entire Galarian trio to have been part of this guy's team? It's also cool that they're introducing these legendaries and capturing/befriending them as the goal, while still showing off how powerful they are and how difficult capturing/befriending them actually is. It's pretty different compared to the games (where you're basically Legendaries Georg) and the anime (which either had no legendary captures at all, legendaries already captured, or Goh's Suicune). In any case, thank you for making this video!
My bet is that Lucius's six heroes are spread all over the world, so I bet Moltres is the only Galarian Pokémon of the bunch. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Definitely right about Roy messing up this episode though it's probably best he get this lesson now as a good reminder of what the situation he's in.
It's clear he was thinking about only finding Rayquaza and nothing else, neither considering about his situation or even what he would do if he found Rayquaza. This encounter with G.Moltres serve to give him a good wake up call on just what he's dealing with and how needs to consider how to approach things.
Also good fight between Amethio and Friede, as usual there short but awesome! Still it really is the question if the two of them will EVER finish one of their battles, cause even Amethio just jumped right into it as if saying "all right let's see if we can get this done for once before the plot calls!".
I'm hoping one day they just dedicate an entire episode to Friede and Amethio settling the score with a proper battle, no distractions
Exact same rating! Galarian Moltres was a surprise, even if I too was spoiled, I really enjoyed it's presence in the episode.
Same. It's crazy how Galarian Moltres is showing up just 22 episodes into a new series lol. Liko & Roy may have better Legendary luck than Ash
Definitely 8/10 territory here. I think this was Roy's "Ash in Celadon City" moment of unbridled dumbassery, and hopefully he'll grow from this.
I was spoiled on Galarian Moltres too, but my short term memory was so fried (I got very little sleep on Friday before going to work that night) that when I watched this episode I had totally forgotten about it so my jaw was wide open, lol. I can't wait for next week.
I wish I had that jaw-dropping moment too haha. Maybe next time
I'm happy to see Galarian Moltres, it's my favourite of the trio, also for the first time there was a Roy moment I actually enjoyed, when he was the first to free himself from Moltres' aura, unfortunatly that came after a moment where I was like "o boy here is Roy being Roy and getting everyone lost because of it". Also I really like the first scene where they showed the rest of the rising voltakle living their life, it gives them more charachter, something that journey wasn't able to do.
When Roy shook off the dark aura I was like wow I can picture Ash doing that haha it was a great moment for sure
Ludlow's philosophy in this episode really foreshadowed Roy's assumptions, so it was clearly done on purpose. I hope he'll learn a lesson from this.
Yeah, Roy sure didn't find Rayquaza, but Moltres definitely found Roy!! I still don't get the black boot though😂
@@EliteTrainerMark I think it was meant to be just a classic comedy scene of fishing up a boot instead of fish.
I'm happy I got to experience the episode in full, the fact it's galatians Moltres makes it all the more interesting. I think Liko will calm it down with the help of Sprigatitos spores if she decides to go that route but that is more a theory then anything.
But while it seems angry, I'm also wondering if it's sad as well? Like the owner of the ancient pokeballs might have sacrificed himself or something, it makes me wonder the real story behind the legend. Will be interesting to see them connect with it overall though.
It feels like a safe assumption that Galarian Moltres has just been on its own since the ancient adventurer left it, so that would make sense why it's so emotional and rampaging
Wow... did Moltres leave an impression or what? Seriously. The anime did such a great job showing just how terrifying Galarian Moltres was and just how ruthless it can be.
I was definitely a fan of the way Moltres was presented, just going around terrorizing everyone and everything in its path, with zero remorse... that's how you set up a boss battle!
Roy was just acting like the kid he is and this series is so true to life with kids chasing something they like and the parents or guardian hopefully noticing that they ran off. It’s a big shift having adults around 24/7 and kids being kids instead of acting like adults like ash and friends and most separation ep they all magically end up together again at the same time instead of like 1 being on left side outside of the cave another on the right outside and another at the top and they didn’t use maps or phones. At least this makes sense friede was near by and all cart lead outside.
I agree, also look at Pokemon Go. Adults in real life ran aimlessly like Roy chasing pokemons, And so many accidents had occurred back then.
This is definitely something I think about too when making my reviews... I mean I kind of have to because I find myself writing "the kids" a lot in my script when referring to Liko & Roy, which is something I never had to do with Ash & friends
@@EliteTrainerMark right because they were acting like adults for the most part not the ten year olds they are. I also referred to the explorer admins as the teenagers since they look that age but yeah most of the main cast is adults. I really want to know why amethio has zirc/onia with him as his grunts when it seems the others don’t. A couple of reasons I could think for that why that is he is the best so he can lead a team and Gibson gave them to him or he is the worst and needs the help so Gibson gave them to him or I think is most likely with how loyal they are to he is they just joined because of amethio because he did something for them like he seems like a rich kid learning to take over a business and maybe their business went down and they didn’t have any jobs so he afforded them jobs working for him and they became loyal to him. Also think Anne is amethio little sister and has a armorouge to his creuledge.
I prefer Liko over Roy because Roy seems like journeys ash with a different goal and I didn’t really like journeys ash personality wise and I think liko could have aura abilities and and ash could also be descended from the legendary adventure
To be honest Roy should have known not to play around with a Galarian Moltres, especially considering that all 3 Galarian birds are evil and sadistic. I think a regular Moltres would have likely spared them after seeing they were good, just impulsive kids.
so cool to see galarian moltress in the series, and i am so exited to find out what the rest of Lucius pokemon was. the only thing i can think of is that one of the pokemon he had was an hisuian pokemon, but that is mostly because he was introduced as the ancient adventurer
7/10. This episode was good,my 2 biggest issues are zir and conia's role in the episode,and of course,roy. If any charecter needs proper growth and development, it's these 3.
Yeah,there was a lot of bad in this episode but also some good moments like the action,the showcase of strength from galarian moltres.
Honestly,if that magazine featuring galarian moltres hadn't popped up on screen first thing in the morning, I would've been freaking out over the legendary's dramatic entrance.
Same exact thing for me, that magazine!!!!! Ruining the surprise, which would have been epic, given how half the episode was spent building up the mystery of what it was...

if Galarian Moltres is one of the six. I'm going to assume so is Galarian Zapdos and Galarian Articuno. I'm not sure however what the others could be though
I bet Moltres will be the only one of the three. I wouldn't be surprised to see Galarian Zapdos and/or Articuno though
i do hope we see the galar birds since their story in the games their story was mostly chase them around galar and i hope that leads the group to the isles of armor and crowd tundra at some point

Also, people made such a big deal about speculating that Liko was Ash’s Daughter, but at this point I think they should’ve speculated if Roy is Ash’s Son instead.
One nitpick of this episode is that I think the plot devices are too "convenient" so to speak - like Liko and Roy got lost and somehow the Explorers knew, and Moltres trapping Friede and Amethio. But that's okay, as you said, it's more about setting up the next's episode's plot.

Every once in a while maybe someone from the server will comment on a video, but it is rare. I've trained them all to actually talk about it in the server instead haha. I haven't watched the One Piece live action but I heard it's good (and from people other than you too lol).
Cap has our respect forever. However, the best takeaway from this episode in the server is two new emojis - one when Quaxly takes a nap, and one when Sprigatito gives the shadiest look up ever towards Liko when she picks Sprigatito up after it ran away in the mine. Although Cap has had an emoji that's been top 5 in my server for months, so he also gets his emoji respect
