I don't think the formula used for calculating the ejection fraction in the echo lady video is accurate, the EF is the ratio of the volume of blood ejected by the left ventricle to the total stroke volume, expressed as a percentage.
So:
EF =[ (EDV--- ESV)×100] ÷stroke volume
e.g. [(130--- 80)]×100 ÷ 70
= 71.43%

Are you following the ECG to get the volumes at end of systole and diastole or you look at the maximum and minimum volume by eyeballing?

Yes of course, follow the ECG or the cycle where you can see the LV smaller or bigger...

According to simpson method what is the normal values of EF especially for children
