She designs and makes stunningly beautiful historical clothing, does historical interpretations, rides horses, shoots arrows, skis, and does kung fu and boxing? What an absolute Renaissance woman. Legendary.
Apologies for the loss of my collar and bow tie around 2:20 - I lost my rear collar stud somewhere in a whirl on the dance floor!
I did spot that and wondered why you didn't look as dashing as normal. Studs eh !@!
Prior Attire hand-stitches historical outfits, dances, shoots AND practices kung fu. She's a Renaissance woman!
How did you manage to do at least two years of work in one and still have time for skiing, archery, and Kung fu, much less sleeping and eating? No wonder you needed to make a new riding habit and replace some of your beautiful dresses and stays with smaller ones! I got tired just watching all that you accomplished!
Sincerely, your work is incredible. Your design and craftsmanship are outstanding. I’m in awe of your talent.
I am so happy that your business is soaring the way it is! I was happy to see you doing recreational activities- skiing, horseback riding, doing kung fu,etc. I always have this picture in my head that you are toiling over your sewing machine! 😂😂😂. I just want you to know how much I love your RUclips channel, and I am looking forward to 2020, with you creating gorgeous gowns, writing books, etc. Thank you.
So at the " I made 10 stays", I was like what! And then the rest follows.. how! And having time left for sports! Kudo's and a lovely 2020
I’m in awe! I managed to hand stitch one regency evening ensemble and was proud of myself!
I think you should be proud. It is not easy.
That's amazing! Well done!
Twirling is very important.
This is why I love historical clothing- each and every garment take hours to complete, and each and every one of them is made with care and love!
So many things I want to say in response to this video, so I'm going to put them in the order I thought them....
1) do people who watch your videos ever fangirl when they see you at events?
2) your dress at the Victorian ball was gorgeous. I loved how it seemed to float when you were dancing
3) What is your favorite period to wear/ which do you think is the most comfortable?
4) Goodness, I would NOT have imagined the pretty Victorian lady was also a kickboxing badass 😂
Fangirl...
My fiance saw Izabel at TORM this year and asked for an autograph...😊
@@NSYresearch I totally did! Still have the autograph in my note book. 😍
Mindygrace
@@NSYresearch I believe it. I live in the US, but my dream job could have me moving to England. You best believe I'll be going to all kinds of events. I was excited to see that she went to Huntington because that's near where'd I'd be if I ever get my dream job.
Fan girl- I hope not, there is nothing to fan girl about. I am just a woman running her business the best I can. There are people doing much more important jobs that need more social recognition:-) favourite period- that changes every week!
I am impressed. I'm very happy that I found your channel. I've been fascinated by period clothing since I was 4 or 5 years old. That's 50 years of fascination. What you have shown on your videos has only increased my interest. Thank you for sharing your world. Cuddles and scritches for the lovely Merlin.
That white jacket with the fur trim is just spectacular. ❤️
I agree! That was a real gem!
Yessss, beautiful.
Wonderful videos. I so enjoy watching you explain various eras in fashion.
A very busy and twirled filled year. Gorgeous outfits. You are very talented.
You are so prolific and talented! Thank you for sharing on RUclips so that those of us 'across the pond' may share in these lovely clothes! What you didn't show is the amount of time you must spend on research! Very, very nice. Please keep making these videos!
So many beautiful things were put out into the world!
I'm amazed at all you were able to make and do in just 365 days! Everything you make is truly awe-inspiring. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I cant imagine sewing as much as you do and as well! Ill just have to live vicariously by watching you and drooling over the outfits !
Yeah finished up with Merlin. I got tired just watching what you did last year. Hope 2020 is an even more amazing year for you all.
Your Kung fu clip makes me DESPERATELY want a drama about a Victorian lady who knows Kung Fu going about her daily life, defending against danger...
rosieanox on another site, I think it’s Crows Eye productions, someone said the Suffragettes learned Ju-jitsu to defend themselves, oh and were armed with small toffee hammers for breaking windows! Can feel the need for smelling salt again - and a good bit of pearl clutching to boot.
The martial arts clips plus costumes reminded me of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies .”
Having watched some of the dressing videos I’m amazed how modular the “dresses” were. The farther back you go the more independent pieces a dress was made up of, it seems. It gives me ideas on wardrobes (not the piece of furniture) to design, modern mostly.
I love watching your videos. I know I haven't been subscribed long, but I can clearly see the amount of work and the attention to detail you put into each garment. It blows my mind that you've made so many items of clothing this year and I've had parts of a crochet blanket sitting on my desk for the past year. Seeing all the work you've done has inspired me to try and finish my project!
Seeing you wear 21st century clothes is so strange. It's like watching one of those movies about an immortal person and up until now it's been set in the past and then suddenly it's the present day.
Your videos are so completely delightful. They make me want a period costume, or to try making one. Thank you for all the content.
Go for it!
We need a historical closet tour of all the historical outfits you own and how you store them!
I have no money but... I WANT THEM ALL!!!!! especially the Georgian gowns, so pretty!
Every thing you make is gorgeous but my favorite was that white fur trimmed jacket! It is stunning!!!! I look forward to seeing what you create for this year!
2 turtledoves and a partridge in a pear tree!!!!!!!! Great job!!!!
I had no idea you've done allllll that! You need to do more videos! I love this so much. I'm not the only one. Your work is amazing.
Wonderful! You’ve left me with a to-do list for 2020: re-watch “The Merry Widow,” re-read “Northangar Abbey,” buy your book, and find fabric for a banyan of my own (assuming they’re not too difficult to make, and that ladies can wear them.)
They are easy and ladies wear them too- they are called dressing gowns ( robe de chambre)
Good heavens...I'm exhausted just seeing how much you created, achieved and enjoyed during the last year.
Well done. Enjoying life and living it to the full. You are a multi talented young woman, what a pleasure sharing this was...thank you.
Happy New Decade.😊
Wow, seriously impressive. I’ve learned so much from your channel!
Kudos, and commendations!!! you're such a hard worker...and play equally hard!! Love watching you live life to the full appreciating the old and the new!! Yes!! 2019 was good!!! The best to you in 2020,good health, good business, and much joy and happiness, cheers!!!
Everything you do is amazing, but that white jacket in the snow took my breath away!!
I wish I had the time, skill and funding to make some of the beautiful things you make. I love your videos.
I am a full time business- this is all for work, dona very different situation. When I was working a full time job in an college I was able to make only a small fraction.
@@priorattire I completely understand. I have been wanting to make new Renaissance garb for several years now and every time I price the fabric needed I nearly faint and put it off even longer.
An absolutely stunning amount of work. You inspire me!
You must not only never sleep, but also possess a Time Turner!
2019 looks like it was incredible. I love it all! It was really cool to see the commissions that might not have made it to your videos or FB page. They're wonderful.
Phew! You were a busy lady! You are simply delightful. I love every video you upload, even the silly ones!
That green and pink bustle outfit is still my favourite
The love and care you put into your works speaks volumes of who you are, thank you for sharing and Happy New Year.
I am in awe of your work I can only hope to be as good as you. I love to watch your videos. They make me want to do more. I love what I see. Keep up the good work. And Thank you for putting yourself out there.
What a year ! I am so inspired by the passion you put into your life !
holy cow - I can't believe you had time to do anything other than sewing (and rippng of course). Beautiful work!
Your whole video made me smile! Thank you!!!
It looks like you had an amazing year!
Wow! Looks like a very industrious year!
so happy you've had a successful year!! the pale green gown with pink roses for the victorian ball is simply exquisite :) and all of the clips of you twirling around are too cute!!
Surprised there wasn't a pratt fall after all those dizzying twirls!
May 2020 continue to bring you and your family (including lovely Merlin) good fortune, health, and happiness!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations and inspiring life with all of us, in so many corners of this world. ♥
Omgoodness... when did you eat.. sleep..? You made ALL of the items you have listed? I'm in Awe of your talent
Your wish for an even better 2020 hasn’t panned out quite yet, butyou and your husband are great examples of making the best of a difficult situation and spreading joy and fun to your neighbors.
You are my absolutely favourite costumer channel! So beautiful, so accurate, so informative, so fun. Thank you!!!!! 😍😍😍😎
I had to pause this vid many times to take this all in! Shared it with a couple of friends. Just amazing.
Thank you for sharing your amazing accomplishments!
You are such an accomplished woman! I can tell you enjoy a full, adventurous, and playful life. So many talents and skills you have and so much creativity. You inspire me.
Man..... If only I had such skill for making beautiful HISTORICALLY ACCURATE clothing like you.
I thoroughly enjoy each of your videos, but I have to ask. Izabela, seriously. When do you sleep?
When I collapse:-). That includes naps at work..
Wow! That's a lot 😱 looking forward to seeing your 2020 haul and meeting you in May. Let's hope I can make at least one full ball outfit by then 😂🧵
You are truly an amazing woman ànd I am in awe of you. Blessed may your 2020 be.
I love your videos and the clothes you make are amazing and you look amazing in them. The colors you use are so flattering to you. Thanks for a wonderful 2019. Looking forward to an even better 2020.
I am stunned by how much you've done last year. I feel a total slug in comparison and I know I haven't been at all.
Don’t- I run a full Time business and I have to make a lot to pay my bills etc.
@@priorattire That does make a difference in the level of output then
I especially loved the snow queen jacket! Also, seeing you rip fabric made me feel very validated. I work in a craft store in the fabric department, and as some fabrics require ripping, many customers who do not sew, or are new to sewing are completely freaked out when I do that. Don't know why, you can't possibly get uneven fabric when it's ripped!
Is that gorgeous gentleman your husband? Good Work you ! :) That whit 1890s hat and coat set with the fur trim looks amazing on you.
I'm so much in love with this white winter jacket
Thank you for sharing your creative, remarkable year. 🐎💕
I don't even know how to express my appreciation for your work and that amount of useful information wich i have picked up from your videos! I wish you a wonderful year and all of the best! Thank you!
I cannot process you in a bright orange backwards cap and t-shirt. The modern turtleneck shook me enough! The illusion is shattered!
Congratulations on an amazing year! I hope it brought you happiness!
What an action packed year! Thank you for sharing your lovely creations with the world!
You can not only ride side-saddle but you can jump side-saddle? Wow. You are certainly an interesting woman. Bravo!
Gosh, but you get so much done in a single year, and look beautiful in the costumes, thanks for sharing a glimpse into your world.
I don’t think I realized the depth of your artistry! Great video!
Loved this. I dont know where you find the energy, let alone the time. The snow queen outfit, absolutely stunning 😍 You're one talented lady.
I don't know how you can make so many absolutely beautiful items in one year and still have any time to move, organize events and have any time for yourself. My hats off to you and your's. Congratulations to you and best of luck in 2020. I truly enjoy your videos! Do you ever plan on doing any events in the US (Colorado) in the future?
I'm always so in awe of you! You are so so incredibly talented and inspire me with creative projects if my own. (Nothing nearly as glamorous as yours) May you success continue this new year!
Aaaaaaaaah, you had your arm resting on that table in full early Victorian kit, I’m shocked I tell you, shocked! What would have Queen Vic have to say about that?! I’m off to seek out my smelling salts....
wonderful!! so many beautiful dresses and stuff ♥
and I made.... uhm... corset mockup that didnt fit me, and nothing more :oD
I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoy your videos and, of course, your beautiful work
Wow. Do you ever sleep. Love your videos. Love your costumes. Keep safe and well. ❤️Lynne
i am in awe! So many outfits, so many activities - and you found time to move house! Wow. The one garment you haven't made for yourself (huh, maybe you have but haven't shown it?) is Superwoman!

2019 was a brilliant year year for. I've enjoyed watching all your videos. All the beautiful clothing. My favorite are the Edwardian and Georgian gowns!
Oh my. I want to dress like this every day.
Snowy Skylar
People do... or close to it- I think it was Bernadette (or one of her friends/ fellow costubers)who came up with the term: History-bounding.
Thank you for this! Absolutely stunning garments
The seaside dress where you are standing on gazebo steps took my breath away.
I so look forward to your videos. It’s like the cherry on a large delicious sundae.😍
Wow! What talent!
Wow! Your energy is boundless, what a busy year!
