Holly and Mark are an experienced travelling dive instructor couple having dived all over the world. They want to share their experience of dive resorts and what to expect during your next diving holiday.
In this Resort Tour, we bring to you the Grotto Bay Beach & Spa Resort in Bermuda.
The resort sits on a lush tropical estate featuring dramatic caves along the water’s edge in Bailey’s Bay. Scattered over 21 acres and sloping down toward two private beaches are 11 colourful cottages in traditional Bermudian architecture overlooking the clear turquoise waters dotted with small islands.
Swim in the shallow waters off our private pink sand beach, in the fresh water pool, or languish in the outdoor Jacuzzi situated among a lush garden above the beach. Sail, snorkel, paddle board, dive ancient wrecks or explore the delicate coral reefs. Grab an early morning fishing charter, take a cruise on a sunny afternoon or a glorious sunset sail right from our dock.
Play tennis night or day, work out in their ocean-front gym or get pampered in their 500,000-year-old cave spa. The resort is conveniently located within five minutes of two of Bermuda’s finest golf courses and the L.F. Wade International Airport.
At Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa their extensive list of amenities and activities ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Great resort and most afforable on the island. The island has so many great resorts and wehn Fairmont Southampton reopens. DB will be back there again too. So 2 great locations with great operator at both.

You will have an awesome time. Make sure DB will be open during week you are there as it is off season.
Do you remember if all the rooms have a nice view? I've read some reviews online saying that some rooms have a view of lawn games and not the ocean.
Also some reviews have said that it's loud and you can hear the people in other rooms. How did you find the noise levels?
Hey, the vast majority of the rooms are ocean view. However, like most resorts, some are not. On their website, the rooms classes are stated if they are ocean or garden view when booking.
We never found an issue with noise in the rooms. We lived in Bermuda for years and used to have lots of staycations at Grotto Bay without issue.
You should visit Bermuda 🇧🇲 as it is a truly incredible, safe, and beautiful island.
