Great video and I love my Yeti X. Something that should also be noted is the sound conditioning you have on your walls. It make a huge difference in sound quality when you have bass traps in the corners and panels on the wall to break up the sound waves. This is an often overlooked aspect of achieving good quality sound with any mic.
This is what I'm looking for I cannot use any type of headphones at any volume without my eardrums hurting, my dream is to become a streamer/youtuber and I need those type of microphones.
bout to next week ahaha but i got a question do you know how i can use the yeti as a microphone and then headphones for listening and stuff so i can game with it you know?
i dont know how some streamers stream with no headphones, listen to music on speakers , and on stream you can hear the music from the pc with the mic not picking anything up. so?
I’m using my microphone for singing, on my sound setting it says the mic is coming in on the computer but I don’t hear the mic making any noise, and I have the microphone plugged in and the input and output device is the microphone
Thanks for the video as I am getting wary of wearing my cans all the time. What speakers are you running in your setup. I think I will add speakers so I can toggle back and forth thru both experiences. LIke when im working and doing zoom calls, I really dont want to have my cans on looking like im gaming! haha
Hi Stan. are you aware of how to do a speaker and microphone setup for a making phone calls thru an iphone? Looking to not wear a headset during phone calls. Thanks Buddy
Thank you for your video, I just got one of this microphone, my question is: Does the red light stay on, despite turning off the pc? This concern me as I don't want this to pick up home noise. Hope you can answer this. Thank you.
Was the audio when using a camera captured on a different mic? it sounds different when you go over to the pc view like all of the ambient room noise went away. Are you using a camera mic at all?
I’m not clear on how “not” to use a headset. Can you simplify the answer? I’m using this for zoom calls. I do not have any additional software other than what is on my windows PC. Thank you.
@@jackies2072 works very good! No sound return at all from the speakers, I can listen to music from the same speaker and no one notices! And I'm finally free from headphones. Love it.
That is the only video solving this problem, do you think is something possibile to do while multiplaying on fps gaming like warzone ? Playing with speakers and chatting with it?
I don't understand how you got the recording sound to be that loud with gain set that low. Even with gain set at 70 it's still super quiet for me, and picks up ambient sounds I can barely hear.
Thank you for this deep lesson. can do a video or give me a link. I don't know how to set up my blue yeti x pro so I can hear myself from the regular speakers. It's really frustrating pls help. Thanks
hi, man how are you? do you know how to use the audio filter that ghub provides for the yetti x with obs studio? i the application in the background running, but when I recording in obs no audio filter is being projected? would you be able to help me ? or anyone?
My biggest question is why you decided to have it upside down? When I make my videos, I also have my camera on that is next to my monitor and I do not really want to have the microphone obstructing my view. Do you have it on the side?
It's hanging down from the top because the arm is able to do it. It gives me more table space and is able to clear all of the other stuff I have on my table. You can use it however you wish though.
Do you think you could use this mic to make music through my speakers and record my voice with little play back noise? I want to record my voice from a mic while I make music on my speakers. If I can do this and still have a clean audio track for my videos id be happy.
What is the software you're using to balance gain on Mic in video? Black window in background upper left quadrant of monitor. Do you have links for this and others in video?
From what I've heard Nvidia RTX voice can fix alot of the background sound issues. You can get RTX voice even working if You do not have a 20-series RTX card. Works with 10-series card too and 9-series etc. Plenty of guides out there on how to set that up. GamerZakh demonstrated how well it eliminates background noises as he lives in a very noisy area in S/E Asia. I think he only have a GTX 960 card and still got RTX voice to work. Not sure if You have comment set to accept links but his video can be seen here ruclips.net/video/wzpHeg7NBUs/видео.html
No need for RTX voice if you ask me ... but then again i do not use an Nvidia card at all. I refuse to support propererty features if it works just fine without.
@@pastelxscrunchie321 yo just a general question, could I adjust the mic settings on my laptop, and then plug the mic into my xbox, will it still sound the same as if i was using the mic on my laptop? btw i don’t plan to get the mic being showcased in the vid, the one i plan on getting is the blue yeti nano.
Hi there, I use the Xbox app. on my Android to chat when I'm gaming because I don't like using headphones. But the issue I'm having is that the sound is horrible so I would like to attach a microphone to my phone while using the phone speakers to game. Does anyone know if this microphone works for that? Or any recommendations?
My nano’s audio output literally broke off inside the housing because my dog had the zoomies! 🥲 He jumped up and yanked my headphones off the table while they were still plugged in 😭 sad day for me. Saving up for either this guy or the original. Can’t wait!
In my last video, I said because of the small disappointments in FPS counter and sleep bug, I'm going to wait for Acer X38P. I've gone back to my Acer XB321HK for the time being.
Install Logitech G Hub, Connect your headphone to the headphone jack on the Yeti X, go to the third tab 3.5mm output within G Hub and play around with the PC / Mic crossfade until you hear yourself.
SuprUsr Stan I did that but no sound I just can here my self, would I need a triple adopter that connect to my laptop my blue yeti and then to my headset, you think that will work?
That shouldn't be necessary. If you're not hearing sound, it's program or windows sound output issue. You need to use the Yeti X as your main sound output. Think of it as an external USB sound card.
Jeez! You're using a C200!? Amazing camera 📷 😍 Keep up the great content! The only feedback I have is all the echo I can hear from the room while you are doing the talking head portion in the first quarter of the video.
Thanks for your helpful comments! The noise gate function is really useful!
These videos are such high quality I love them.

This was really hard to find. EVERYBODY just assumes you're gonna use headphones.

Were like the same person lol I cant wear headphones either and my dream is to become a streamer too
Look into open back headphones. I have this issue sometimes as well depending on how bad my sinuses are.
Great video. I just bought one and I am currently researching how to set it up properly.

Im thinking if its posted and not live they delete the video audio then overlay the blue yeti audio over the video maybe? 🤔
this was detailed af.
how you only have 8k subs is a crime
Nicee thank you for this video! It looks so much better during a videocall to have no headphones to be honest
Thanks for the reviews, the two videos you did on the Yeti X convinced me it was worth it.
Bro you never told us how to put it on speakers. No OBS. Using it with Zoom and speakers. How to turn on speakers instead of headphones?
Ok but how high is your game volume? Kinda hard for me to get into games if I can barely hear them.

Can this set up work for zoom or calls ?
Thanks for this update, the detail helps before purchasing!

Very useful ! What earbuds do you use ?
very unique video thanks i ever wanted to know if i can play without earphones while streaming, thanks
Thank you for this video. This setup really works and I can confirm that.
Will this work in a meeting ?
Is this setup any good for warzone? How well can you hear teammates? And is their a way to get directional audio without a headset/earbuds?
I’m not clear on how “not” to use a headset. Can you simplify the answer? I’m using this for zoom calls. I do not have any additional software other than what is on my windows PC. Thank you.

Can I use the same settings on a Blue Yeti Nano? I don't need to stream, just need it for work calls, at a medium volume...

Hi, thanks for this video. how can you achieve this noise deletion feature from Discord on other apps, like Skype?
Bcuze I am having echo issues myself and I got the Elgato wave 3
hey for your blue yeti on the back how much do you like to turn and leave your gain knob at?

Hi! What shock mount are you using for the Blue Yeti X?
how loud can you have your speakers ?
But how do you connect it if you're not using the USB cable to plug into headphones?
Is there a way to use to connect wireless headphones to it ?

Thanks. I just bought this. I'm playing D&D on Roll20 using Discord for sound. Do you think the shock mount is necessary?
I would. Bumping the table can transmit noise to the microphone.
