That would be a great way of texturing as with a trim sheet, in theory at least, you know the texture coordinates of each texture. The mapping would still be challenging though
BRO please help me! I’m in a deeppp ahhhh rabbit hole. So I procedural unwrapped a geometry nodes tree. And you know trees, It’s like instances on instances on instances, but the last instance is the leaves. The leaves don’t need to be procedurally unwrapped but because I did this process of unwrapping automatically on the whole tree with all its instances it’s affecting the leaves too! And unwrapping them also! I realize that when I reorganize the geometry nodes on the modefiers tap I and put my Uv geometry nodes on top, the leaf material appear! But the whole tree looses its procedural texture and becomes white. Idk what to do 😓 I can’t find anyone doing tutorials on handling multiple uv materials with geometry nodes uv unwrapping
Btw at 4:50 If you connect the factor to the profile and the length to the curve, you will actually get evently mapped UVs
Great tutorial, now I only have to repeat this for my uv-spheres. Do you have a tutorial, where you explain the creation of your text-tool?
Not yet! I think it would make a really nice short tutorial so I add it to the list!
Great tutorial with excellent explanations! You do great work! Thanks for sharing!
Great to se and actual UV Geometry nodes tutorial. I wonder how we could incorporate Trimsheets or map into trimsheets with geo nodes

Thanks for saving me I finally understood how it works
Glad to hear it!
grazie per il tuo aiuto
Glad to help!
Thanks you A LOT, you save me hours
Glad I could help you!
Really interesting! Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

That sounds like a lot.
Have you tried doing it in smaller chunks rather than all in on node tree?
Shame this doesn't seem to work for cyclic curves.
