Most informative and enjoyable presentation. I do have a question - to finish around the edges, do you just fold over the backing to the front and top stitch? Of course you would ensure the edge width was the same all around first to achieve the uniform look. I know you could trim the backing off even and apply the binding, but just wondered if you found this other method to turn out well for you. Thank you

Excellent info. I do QAYG and this makes it so much easier and less expensive than sending my quilt top to the longarmer.

How do you remove all the stabilizer?
When you attach the sashing, are you using a straight stitch? How close to the edge of the sashing are you stitching?
How close to the edge are you sewing and are you using invisible thread
