That song has so much meaning to me. Was released shortly after losing my grandfather (my granddaddy like he says in the song), and him saying he is going to walk again next to him. Well yeah my granddaddy couldn’t walk much at the end of his life (due to over a decade of metastasized kidney cancer getting to his bones and lungs). So yes when I get where I am going I am going to walk with my granddaddy and he will match me step for step.
