This was awesome and so glad you finally reacted to it. Brad and Keith are best friends and spent a lot of time just jamming on their guitars, and generally have a good time. Great reaction.

When Paisley was 12, he caught the attention of the program director of a radio station in nearby Wheeling, who invited him to perform on Jamboree USA, the station’s long-running live country music program. For the next eight years he polished his act as a regular on the show. In 1991 Paisley enrolled at West Liberty State College in West Liberty, West Virginia; he later transferred to Belmont University in Nashville, where he earned (1995) a bachelor’s degree in music business.
I was a fan of Paisley for years before I saw him live and I had no idea the caliber of guitarist that he is but when he played some Hendrix riffs it blew me away. As far as country guitarist go there are few better then the legendary Guitar Man Jerry Reed. Watch his 'Guitar Medley' to see perfection. Roy Clark and Glenn Campbell are two other great Country guitarists. Watch them do an instrumental of 'Ghost Riders In The Sky' for another excellent performance.
Keith grew up playing in the clubs and pubs in Australia, cover bands playing top 40 radio songs and heavily influenced by the big rock bands going around Australia at the time. Also a upbringing on American country music and he is also a sponge for anything music and can turn his hand to most genres. He is very versitile. Mark Knopfler was also one of his influences.
It would be great to see y’all react to a great collaboration! Tim McGraw - Highway Don’t Care (Live from CMA or ACM) It features Taylor Swift and…Tim asked Keith to not only play on the song, but to create the guitar melody. Keith is a must see live!

The first Keith Urban song I ever heard was "You'll Think Of Me" and I still think it's his best. I'd put him a little more toward pop than country, from what I've heard from him.
This was on a Brad Paisley album where all the rest of the songs were instrumental only. This was the only song with singing on the album from what I have heard. I don't actually buy albums.

I still say that if you want a Master class and guitar players look at Roy Clark Buck Owens and Glen Campbell they are all they were all virtuosos on guitar it was amazing
I disagree. I'm an old school pure country fan, but I recognize that country music isn't the sound but the singer. I think that's why country has so much diversity in the sound. I have no problem with those that add the sub genre tag and no problem with those that don't. I know I sound like I'm trying to placate everybody, but I really believe that country is so much more than 3 cords and the truth.
I would love to see you guys react to some Dan and Shay, "Speechless" or "I should have stayed in bed" or Bret Young "I don't want to write this song" or "Mercy" or "Lady" or "Catch". They're both awesome country singers/duos.
Hope you enjoyed it but for your own enjoyment watch the live version...his guitar work is impeccably good ( a great solo). You don't have to react but listen to it sometime. You should also listen to the 2015 CMA mash up of Tennessee Whiskey & Drink Me Away by Chris Stapleton & Justin Timberlake.
I keep waiting for you guys to get into some good stuff. That's an overstatement, perhaps, but a good 75% of the things you guys are reacting to are super fluffy, formulaic commercial songs they play on shitty modern mainstream radio for casual music fans who want easily digestible "music" with no substance. There are many legitimately incredible artists out there. I like your Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson, and Colter Wall videos (and a few older artists, too). I wish you would go down those roads more often. Here are a few suggestions: Sturgill Simpson "You Can Have the Crown / Some Days" (Live at Sun King Brewery), Cody Jinks "Mercy" (A new song he wrote to Nashville and the "country" music industry for blackballing artists with substantive music), Ward Davis "Good and Drunk" (The most three-chord-and-the-truth country song you'll ever hear), Josh Morningstar "Jerry Lee" (A song about crazy-ass Jerry Lee Lewis. Pure perfection), Jason Isbell "Elephant" (He's probably the greatest songwriter of this generation), John Moreland "You Don't Care Enough for Me to Cry" (The only songwriter that can challenge Isbell to that title). There are many more, but this is off the top of my head. I challenge you guys to pick any one of these at random. If your jaws don't hit the floor, then it's just not your cup of tea. However, if you're going on a country music/country adjacent journey, at least mix in some of these wildly popular independent/non-mainstream artists and songwriters and give them a chance. It's crazy how I can go see these guys in a packed 20K seat theater, but I can't ever find them on the radio. Sad, I know, but that's probably why you don't know about them. I know you guys are just beginning to go down this country rabbit hole, so I thought this may help. Anyway, it's just a thought.
Added two votes for Jason's tune you suggested. Remember we know nothing about Country and react to the songs our views request. I track every request meticulously and the highest votes go to the top when we record, unless we are sent bourbon. -Dustin
Got an Isbell coming your way. It's not Elephant, although that would be most people's first reccomendation. But it not their bribe 😆. I chose one of my favorites. He is one of the best lyricists I've ever heard in my life. The other one I sent is because I know you like strong female vocals and I thought you would appreciate the harmonies. Hope you enjoy. ☺
Keith’s influence was full on traditional Country! He started playing at the age if 3, heavily inspired by Don Williams and Glen Campbell. Keith, unfortunately, let’s the music take him, instead of focusing on a genre. “The Fighter” is a more current album that was Co-Produced with legendary Niles Rogers so, yea, a different sound. Treat yourselves to “When Summer Comes Around” then sit back and watch him do his thing.
They won an award for this song and when they went up to accept they told everybody that they should learn to play the guitar because "nobody ever got laid playing Guitar Hero."
Rewatch this clip and you could write a country song out of your review called I don't want a wang in my nose.Heads up when you do Blues not your color is a tribute to the ladies. It played on cross over radio.Sometimes distilleries have country concerts
Let's put it like this: There are people from the deep south that play country, but then you got Keith Urban that is so deep-deep-deep south, he's from a different hemisphere (since he's Australian). 🤣
Willie played center field short and always made those catches at the wall Keith (425 feet). The Giants were in NYC then and I watched the world series in 1954. I was six years old and was lucky enough to see Willie make the catch, and more importantly he spun around and threw the ball to second base to stop the leading run from scoring because he had to tag up. The arm is all important in your game Keith. Willie was second only to Babe Ruth on most records. Babe was a good pitcher when he played for the Red Sox. Another reason for a good arm. He could hold two hotdogs in each hand too. I stop watching and following baseball when they went on strike. I still think Willie Mays was one the greatest ball players ever & no corruption!@@BourbonCountryReacts
@@davidjennings1771 I quit watching at the strike too. But a couple of years ago, something dawned on me. No player today was on a roster back then. So, besides auto/moto racing, baseball is the only sport I'll watch. - Keith
Very true about all new players, so I went all in on following football. I had always liked motor sports including cycles. Moonshine running had cost me an uncle. I had come out of the Lynchburg VA area where rte.'s 460, 501, & 29 join. Nascar was in my blood so to speak. Living in the shadow of Mount Katahdin I'm a hillbilly again. I just don't live the lifestyle anymore. I still miss beer and whisky. Asbestos & chemical defoliant's cost me part of a lung, beer & bourbon. It gave this army engineer 100% military comp. Uncle Sam could have given it up when I was younger. I'm rambling again....@@BourbonCountryReacts

Did you guys get any Xmas based songs in the suggestion box?Did you want to semi rank some so they don't pop up in May ect ?
Yep we did that, might do one more.
Dustin you are my favorite, keep it real
Real is all you’ll get from us -Dustin
Jerry reed and bb king the song in the sack great guitar
I've seen both in concert & they're both killer. You've heard quite a bit of Brad but you definitely listen to Stupid Boy by Keith Urban.
We reacted to Stupid Boy here:

Hope you enjoyed it but for your own enjoyment watch the live version...his guitar work is impeccably good ( a great solo). You don't have to react but listen to it sometime. You should also listen to the 2015 CMA mash up of Tennessee Whiskey & Drink Me Away by Chris Stapleton & Justin Timberlake.
my hubby is into Whiskey, usually scotch or Irish..do you all do that, or only bourbon?
We do some, but we try to stay away from the scotch rabbit hole on channel. -Dustin
A buddy of mine got asked if the name of the song he was playing besides wait and oh shit?!
If you want to hear a great country guitar solo listen to the full version of stay a little longer by brothers Osborne
All great suggestion! Would love to see some Jason Isbell! Him & Tyler are my two favorite artists currently.
Added two votes for Jason's tune you suggested.
Remember we know nothing about Country and react to the songs our views request.
I track every request meticulously and the highest votes go to the top when we record, unless we are sent bourbon. -Dustin
@@BourbonCountryReacts Nice. Hopefully, folks will upvote it.
Highway Don’t Care: Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift & Keith Urban
Y'all need to check out Lonestar songs. Mr. Mom is a good one. No News. Just the Rain.
Added those votes
Please lishen to American Saturday night definitely shows off brads guitar skills
Are you guys familiar with Roy Clark?
Check out brad live version of she's everything
Added a vote for that one.
Added that one to the list.
They won an award for this song and when they went up to accept they told everybody that they should learn to play the guitar because "nobody ever got laid playing Guitar Hero."
WOULD LUV TA SEE Y'ALL ATA DISTILLERY
We have one scheduled here very soon, stay tuned!
Shnazzy!!
Rewatch this clip and you could write a country song out of your review called I don't want a wang in my nose.Heads up when you do Blues not your color is a tribute to the ladies. It played on cross over radio.Sometimes distilleries have country concerts
Added another tune for Blue Aint your color
Kiss a Girl- Keith Urban. Or try " The highway don't care" Keith plays guitar and Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift sing.
Added votes for those!
If you want to hear a guitar talk, listen to Chris Stapleton do Cold. Unbelievable
Keith has often said he was heavily influenced by Mark Knoffler.
Let's put it like this: There are people from the deep south that play country, but then you got Keith Urban that is so deep-deep-deep south, he's from a different hemisphere (since he's Australian). 🤣
Now it's time to give Keith Urbans Stupid Boy LIVE a listen.
Added another vote for that one.
Put me in coach, I'm ready to play. Darn it Keith you don't look like Willie Mays too much, can you throw?
The Amelas One
Yeah, I had a pretty good arm. Usually played left field until I got older and developed more speed. Then I was usually in center. - Keith
