Hey guys. FYI, you may already know but John Michael Montgomery is the brother of Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry. Troy Gentry was the other half and you may also know that he was killed in a tragic helicopter crash in 2017. R.I.P. T-Roy. 💔
OMG this brings back so many memories....I love this song, its amazing!!!! You can't "not like" this song! LOL This song was the Bomb in the 90's! I Love that you like it, love your reaction!! The dance off at the end was priceless!
You guys liked Goodbye Earl by the Dixie Chicks so I recommend She's the Queen of My Double Wide Trailer by Sammy Kershaw. Dennis Linde wrote both songs. He also wrote John Deere Green by Joe Diffie.
I'm so glad you brought up 7 brides for 7 brothers!!! I did not see the connection till now and don't know how I missed it. Gonna watch that movie tomorrow
Just found you guys because I was nostalgic for this very song. LOVED the reaction and subbed up immediately! Good to meet you both and look forward to more reactions.
JMM! I loved this song when I was a teen, haven't heard it in a long time. Kinda makes me feel old and nostalgic lol. This channel just keeps me running through my life.
the official name of this song is "Sold! (The Grundy County Auction Incident)" just so you know. also this was filmed at an actually county fair auction in his home county. fun facts for you.
JMM is just a great country artist. Amazing song and video. I can't remember if you guys have done Brad Paisley's I'm Gonna Miss Her - and Celebrity. Absolutely hilarious videos. A must watch. Dwight Yoakham is another fantastic country artist. As Fast As You, Suspicious Minds, Guitars and Cadillacs are all great songs..............Sorry - can't help you with the dancing. I can't remember that far back.
@@BourbonCountryReacts Thank you - I do actually remember watching this. I thought you did it - just couldn't remember for sure. Been watching a LOT of videos lately.
Wanted to hear this song last night and ended up discovering your channel. I love how you focus on the composition and guitar skills as much as the lyrics and the messages of the songs. Sold has been a favorite of mine since I was a small child. It’s just so much fun. My top 5 fun country songs are Sold-JMM, The Shake- Neal McCoy, Honky Tonk Badonkadonk- Trace Adkins, Fever- Garth Brooks, and Cleaning This Gun (Come on in, boy)- Rodney Atkins.
yes to all of them! ESPECIALLY Cleaning this gun and honky tonk badonkadonk if you haven't already! and if you do honkytonk badonkadonk, be sure to do the official video!
I had a feeling you would like this. It's true country music. And such a fun video. Can't believe this song was released in 1995. You can't go wrong with JMM. And yes, we want to see you play.
Glad you played this John Michael Montgomery is a great song writer and singer, his brother Eddie Montgomery is half of the duo of Montgomery Gentry which you have reacted to one of their videos a fun video of Montgomery/Gentry’s is “Hell Yeah”. If you want a deep video you should listen to Billy Gillman’s “One Voice”. He was I believe 12 when he sang this song and was signed to Epic Records.
I worked with a woman who used to run a club in KY and she actually fired JMM and his band. At the time, he was trying to be a rocker and she said all he really knew how to play was way too LOUD, especially for so small a club. So glad he found out he's better at country!
I love y'all's reactions. I have NO rhythm at all. I can't dance. I have all the grace of a newborn giraffe with 4 left feet. But I love watching them dance in this video. ... Letters From Home is a great one. Not fast like this one, and he definitely doesn't try to seduce you. Also, Riding with Private Malone by David Ball is another good one.
I was curious whether that was his wife or not in the video, so I went and looked. Got varying responses on google, so I just went to photos of his wife and it is definitely her, Crystal White. 👍👍
I've been to many auctions. Antique, estate, real estate etc. It's the thing my Dad and I did on Saturdays and occasionally midweek. I still see that grin when he won the bid and when he knew mom would kill us when we got back to the house. He's been gone since 2014 , haven't been to an auction since
Love to reaction as always there was some Appalachian clogging which of course is derivative of Irish folk dancing and the cowboy hats that's kind of a Texas thing cowboys come in off the range and kind of get just absolutely wild and they're dancing would show it a great example of this was shown in the Burt Reynolds Dolly Parton movie The Best Little whorehouse in Texas.
Love your channel, have just started watching reaction videos in the last couple of weeks. They are addicting. I would like to vote for IFeel Lucky by Mary Chapin Carpenter.
i just found your channel today and went back and watched a bunch of your videos my only suggestion would be you need to go back and hear some of the roots of country music such as JOHNNY CASH .. willie nelson ... kris kristofferson ..waylon jennings outlaws of country !!!!

I don’t think you have ever reacted to anything from Luke Bryan, my suggestion to start off with is “Build Me A Daddy” make sure your wife is not dusting again. Luke’s play list is extensive funny, emotional, story telling.
What up, guys? General question about bourbon bribes. What's the policy on number? I got my first bottle for ya, but I got at least two more songs in mind, so you'll get more from me if you'll have me.
There's definitely no limit. We had some come in over the holidays, and there were multiple bottles/requests from at least one person. Right now, Dustin and I are feeling guilty about not being able to get together to record them until the upcoming weekend. But we're going to get those recorded and dropped as quick as we can.
