In the process of booking my honeymoon for March and April. Will be in Florence April 3-6 will come back to this video once I get to booking excursions.
Comming to the city in mid september after a week and half group tour to morocco to the city for a book event (was here in 18’ and saw all the museum and tour of Pisa ) im looking for places to spend downtimes , like parks to read or picknics in or streetfairs, pools etc any tips?
Thanks to one smoke show Maltese Art History Major and a spirited History Major, I did not miss a thing during my Junior Year in Florence. Don't hate me because I'm lucky. Maltese smiled our way into Vasari's Gallery. Won't tell you what year but here's a clue. People were in gas lines.
Hey I was hoping youd be able to help me out....do you know how the lines work for the duomo + dome climb + bell tower even when a Brunelleschi pass is bought? Like Im hoping to do all 3 in 1 day and was wondering which one has the longest ques and how to avoid requeing 3 times in 3 long lines... I believe the pass lets you pick a time for the dome climb, does that let you skip the line and go straight to security?
Some of your points are very strange. You phrase it as though Lampredotto is an exceptional or unusual dish born out of the desperation of the poor, when in fact tripe (beef stomach) is commonly eaten in cultures all over the world, and has been for centuries. You go without saying the more interesting thing about the food - that the name, derived from the Italian word for lamprey eels, is a reflection of it's appearance, shape and colour. Florence has such a rich history, and it's food is no exception. Also, the notion that anyone having a conversation about Italian Renaissance Art likely would not mention Masaccio is so odd. His Tribute Money (in the Brancacci Chapel) is one of the most significant pieces of the Early Renaissance, as is his Holy Trinity fresco, located in the Santa Maria Novella Church. For cities like Florence, there is no need to dramatise further to create interest for tourists - the city is more than special enough as it is.
It’s bigger and definitely has some great pieces, but the tea is generally regarded as having more universally acclaimed pieces in a smaller space. Love the Pitti Palace it just didn’t make the cut because they wouldn’t let us film there. Would love to see your videos on Florence featuring the Pitti Palace.
I am sorry but you are completely wrong. The San Giovanni baptistry doors are a replica of the original ones. Check what you show before you post videos like that!
@@TheTourGuyVids apologies l was just referring to some footage in your top food in Florence vlog , l had watched that just beforehand and then saw some of it repeated from chapter 6,7,8,13 of this vlog 🙂
Un commento per il commentatore,il filmato è molto ben fatto,ma la tua pronuncia di nomi/termini italiani è così... anglosassone, terribile, assolutamente terribile, fatti affiancare da un'italiano per usare la pronuncia corretta.

So you think the video should be taken down as it’s not helpful?
@@TheTourGuyVids No, no, just feedback for future videos I suppose?
