My only claim, besides being a Vic Firth student in the early '60's, was doing gigs with North Carolina Symphony, the old Mobile Symphony, LA studio drummer, and Roger Williams' tour drummer. l have long since "retired", if there is such a thing. Steve is a true monster. Applause!

I ran into one of Steve Moore's videos here on RUclips. The title was "This drummer is at the wrong gig", so I watched it. It is obvious that he has very good time, very good technique, chops, syncopation, and I want to say taste because everything he plays fits well with the rest of the band. I have seen more than several videos playing with different musical projects. So I don't mean to lack a sense of humor, but why are the some of the videos he is in titled "This drummer is at the wrong gig" when all I have ever heard or seen out of this guy is that every gig he has played...... is the right gig. Excuse me. I started playing drums 45 years ago and have taken it very seriously, done some recording and traveling so I am not a beginner or onlooker. I say he is top notch all the way. And he is a total character. Now, if the title was meant to be humorous, then please excuse my failure to 'get it'.
