In my opinion, Clive Barker stories/movies seem to often be underrated or overlooked not because of their graphic content or because people don't understand, but more so I feel, because they don't want to understand them. These are horrors movies that go beyond scares and thrills. These movies dig deep into the inner most depths of our mind and soul. They deliver ideas and thoughts that many don't know how to handle or are too afraid to acknowledge that they exist. Even the music does a terrific job at illustrating this. Phillip Glass composed a melody and chord arrangement that sounds as if it belongs in some timeless romance, but instead it belongs to the opposite. It plays with us and disarms us. These artistic stories open up the question, what is the difference between horror and fantasy? Our individual answers can sometimes differ greatly from one another. The line between good and evil, malevolent and benevolent behavior can often times be blurred. Sometimes we catch a glimpse of our true selves in the mirror and don't like what we see, and sometimes we look and smile. Just as that famous line from Hellraiser goes, "we are demons to some, angels to others." Clive Barker's stories have a way of showing each and everyone of us what we are.... angels and demons.

I'm going to play this on my keyboard. It's kind of haunting 🎶🦇🥀
What’s blood for if not for shedding?
Has to be one of my Funeral songs.💕Beautiful.
i can always picture like walking into a horror show of the worst nature when i hear this creepy shit......"be my victim" freakin classic
So iconic
Love to!
I LOVVEEE this music… so beautiful and yet so creepy
*"It was always you Helen"*
I think the new movie alright but not better than the old one but I get it the story of the movie feel bad for people that didn't understand it but I still don't understand how was the laundry dude part of candy man plan that I don't get
Remember in the beginning of the movie where candy man came out they wall….the laundry guy is the kid who screamed and cops came in and candy man killed them…so years later he known all along that he was candy man once the guy told him stories about the folklore…so the laundry guy at the end known he was becoming candy man and he got what he deserved…
🐝my VICTIM!!!
Candyman and Carrie hands down have the best horror scores!
This composition is Heavenly. I feel peace and tranquillity when listening to this Masterpiece ❤️
Heaven and horror are but one. When you realize this, you will levitate. The glory, the potential, the everlasting peace within death, and soulful depth.
I don’t know why I like this theme song 🤣I miss the 90s❤ my childhood ☺️
This was a great film people don’t know what horror films are the remake to this was utter shit can’t beat this original remakes are mainly always rubbish always stick to the original horror films
In case anyone was curious, yes those are real bees used in the movies, even the ones on Tony Todd's body that fall off him onto Helen. He was offered $1000 (or maybe $2000) for every time he got stung. He got stung 24 times.
wtf. lol. damn.
This sounds so good even though I’ve never watched the movie
Who is here for AHS Asylum?
The song tells a tragic story. So beautiful. Favorite horror movie of all time;next to Tales from the Hood.
One of the best horror movies of all time. Great story.
I just saw this movie for the first time for my Halloween marathon and wow. I can’t believe I never seen it before. The music, the environment and the tragic events were all amazing.
My new favorite film.
Yes! I've loved this movie for years. Parts 2 & 3 were terrible, but the 2021 movie is a continuation of the original story. I definitely recommend it. :)
@@Boxermom0317 I didn’t like the second CandyMan movie and thought it was pretty forgettable.
But thanks to your recommendation, I think I will give the remake a chance, although I’m usually opposed to remakes.
@@2l84me8 Candyman 2021 is not a remake. It's a sort of follow-up to the original. I don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say there are a couple of familiar characters from the first movie. :)
@@Boxermom0317 I’m definitely intrigued now.
@@2l84me8 Enjoy!
Beautifully tragic.
Out of all horror characters candyman was the only one i feared growing up everything about this character is creepy and his disturbing backstory of why he started killing nicely done🙌
He's coming back!
Pianos always made for amazing horror themes.
Can't believe it came from this movie. I personally thought it was from American Horror Story lol.
From the chilling Imagination of Clive barker.
I am the writing on the wall ,the whisper in the class room ...beee my victim
