    I've been shooting the original Logic for a few years now and it has killed a heap of meat for me, but man, I REALLY like the look of this new Revex. I guess I'm gonna have to give it a try. BTW, I am a MODULE man myself, no rotating modules on my bow, ever! Great review!

    I am still in love with my Inline 3. The only thing that tempts me towards the Rev-X is the mounting hole for the tight spot custom quiver. I am not switching though. I've always heard about how well Prime bows point. It was true and the insulated grip is also something I don't think I can live without after having it. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
    I've been bow hunting for almost 30 years now and I shoot this bow better than any I have ever owned. That includes BowTech and Matthews.

      If bows were so much better today than 10-20 years ago we would be seeing much better tournament scores being logged. We don't. All shooter friendly bows topped out at 320-340 ibo because higher efficiency numbers are unattainable with the technology and available string and limb materials.
      They are HEAVIER to give potential buyers a false sense of quiet and vibration free shooting. Even carbon bows are tipping the scales at over 4 1/4 lbs bare. Some bows MAY have given the user a bit of tuning ability, but even that is questionable over a person who knows how to tune anyway.
      Compound bows peaked somewhere around 2005-2010. If I were in the market for a bow I would buy one used and a good bow press and still save 1k-$1500.

    • @Ganesh.krish0212
      @Ganesh.krish0212 Год назад

      The major difference I see between bows a decade ago vs today - Bows of today are easier to tune, stay tuned and reciprocates to your shooting form way better. Every time I tune these new bows I go, wow that was quick, especially on bows that have aftermarket strings. Moreover the learning process when it comes to children or new archers, it’s is easier for the coach to teach. But somehow I still love my old bows and go hunting looking for old used ones. Just bought a Hoyt Rampage last week, my lord, that limb pocket is a sight to behold. I show the bow to my students, they hate it.

But it doesn’t matter how nice the person is that tells you they don’t have any more parts for your bow “and never will again”. Either way You aren’t getting the parts. I did some digging and found out Mathews is the only one that guarantees 100% of all parts supported for life. That’s a big deal in my book. So to understand how a bows back wall can give and be firm you have to know where I’m coming from. There was a time when cable stops were super mushy. They were not at all firm. By comparison, a limb stop is immovable. That’s harder than firm. On this bow, there are cable stops and there is a faint hint of giving at full draw, but the stop is firm as compared to soft. That’s what I was referring to.

    • @LancasterArcherySupply
      @LancasterArcherySupply  Год назад +3

      Not impossible.....The cams are machined with a wide string track and then metal is removed behind that track so when the cam rolls over, the cable connection points are in line with the string track. They are on slanted tracks that pull them away from the cam when the bow is at rest, but when the bow is drawn, the cables slide in behind the string track. Prime has some good graphics showing you exactly how this is done.....

    • @asrealasitgets8709
