Hello Nick You saved me alot of troubles, I have been buying wrong adapter and cables, and after getting this adapter, I still cannot get it fixed due to laziness reading the instruction and so on... finally, I bought the correct HDMI cables downloaded the driver as per your guide here and done now I have 3 multiple monitors up. Thank you so much for your clear guide here. Keep up your good work!
Hey there! It's great to hear that you scored an awesome deal on those monitors. Thanks for the detailed guide on connecting them to your laptop using the WavLink adapter. I'm sure it will help a lot of people out there looking to do the same thing. One thing I'd like to know is how the display quality is compared to a straight HDMI connection. Does it perform just as well? Thanks again for sharing this helpful information!
I would say the display quality is pretty good although I don’t have the clearest displays. Sometimes the program icons seem a little grainy but that may be just because I don’t have the best integrated graphics.
Very good video. Most of the time the videos that youtube brings me to when i search for help aren’t really helpful and leaves me with questions unanswered however you did a great job explaining it and little details such as “how to find your exact product to install the correct driver”. After watching this video all of my questions and anxiety left the the chat, Thank You!
I’m not exactly sure, but here is a download link to the exact drivers I used for my windows PC. Hopefully this helps: drive.google.com/file/d/1kzYcOg0fbY4owGslxlefxF18Q4JzRvxZ/view?usp=drivesdk
@@Random_How-tos That was a quick response. Not every youtuber will respond on a video that is 2 years old. Thanks. If I do end up getting it then I will let you know for sure.

How do they fare compared to the small/single hdmi adapters you showed earlier? I ise one of those small for my display tablet and was wondering if the wavlink's display look better than the small adapters or just the same.
Thank you. My computer doesn’t have USB 3.0 but I have used it with the USB 2.0 ports on my computer. As far as I know, the adapter is USB 3.0 compatible.
@@Random_How-tos dude thanks to your video I bought a hub and connected it from a 3.0 port to my old laptop and it works perfect, you saved me 1k on buying a new laptop
Is there a possibility to connect it on Ubuntu 22.04? I bought this adapter for my Hackintosh; however, due to work requirements, I need to use it on Ubuntu, and I can't find the correct driver.
I understand, unfortunately, I wouldn’t know how. Although I did just look it up and this person may have had the same problem. Hopefully this helps, let me know: askubuntu.com/questions/1404637/wavlink-is-not-working-on-the-ubuntu-20-04-4-lts-usb-c-to-hdmi-dual-display-ad
Yes you can. In Windows 11 you go into display settings. Look for scale and layout and in that section you will see display orientation. Change the setting from landscape to portrait.
Hi nick, how are you? I have a question. I bought the adapter because I saw it in your video, but when I connected it, everything worked fine, it blinked a couple of times and then it worked fine, but from one moment to the next, the signal or the image lost. Do u have the same problem or how do u fix the error. Thank u !!
Sorry to hear that. The only thing I can think about are the HDMI cables. I ended up buying new HDMI cables since I was having a connection problem. The Amazon basics HDMI cables have always been good.
I’ve only use this adapter on windows 11 and it has worked great for me so far. I’m pretty sure it works for both windows 10 and 11 even if the website doesn’t specifically say that.
Unfortunately, yes, but I don’t think it was the adapter. I think it was because I have the adapter plugged into a USB dock that shares 4 USB connections on one USB-C port. I only get rendering delays when I run my WebCam and run maybe five video streams on both monitors all at the same time. The only real delay I experience is my cursor having a delayed response when I move it across the screen.
@@Random_How-tos please if possible then make a video with this adaptor how trading view will behave on multiple screen, because many traders suffering with multiple screen with one laptop issue. It will be very helpfull
It depends on the load you put in because what these adapter actually are is an external video card aka graphics card. The same kind that's used for phone but not exact. Usually it's used for multiple industrial device or component such as SSD and RAM albeit simpler and lower specs
Hay @agani5218 thanks for stopping by. You can definitely have different windows/applications opened up on different displays. If you are trying to have a different desktop or profile opened up on different displays I’m not sure but seems like something that should be possible.
I had a similar problem. For some reason, one of my monitors didn’t like the HDMI cable I was using. Once I replaced it with an Amazon Basics HDMI cable it all started working. I would recommend trying a different cable even if it’s a different standard like VGA. This has worked for me in the past. Good luck and hope this helped.
