Kassandra, Please try to see if you can use 1080P camera because the picture quality is very poor. It could be a lighting issue. Spent time upgrading your filming set. I want you to have more viewers. Yes, I do agree with your statement when you said less is more.

Hi Cassandra, I’m really enjoying and appreciating so many if your videos. I’m over 50 and though I’m somewhat active, my motivation has definitely slipped over the past 5 years. The way you teach and guide is easy to follow and helped me find my way back to loving the discipline of making time for healthy routine. Hmmm my first experience with yin yoga in general. I love how my mind is going crazy with thoughts through all those long holds but being mindful of them and letting them go by just observing them really helps. This is my favorite way of practicing meditation now 🧘♂️❤

Although I've gained flexibility, I wasn't aware that what I lack is core strength in order to do really tough poses. Even now I can't do sirsasana. I don't have enough strength on my shoulders. Thanks to your videos on core now I know what I must work on. Every single morning I do one yin yoga video (I had never heard about yin yoga) and one vinyasa. In a few weeks I feel my body has got stronger. I don't think I will go back to the gym again to do yoga. I can see that your videos have improved along these years. Keep it up!

I also have fallen out of the habit of doing yoga and exercising. I am trying to get back into the habit of doing yoga consistently again as it has always made me feel better.
I'm a ballet dancer, and with everything going on, I sometimes tend to put off stretching or I don't do it as long as I should -- I found your channel a while ago for your morning yoga, but honestly, I've been loving your yin yoga. I stretch daily (usually) but find that following along with someone helps me really relax into the positions. From a ballet dancer, thank you!

YIN is so so so challenging for me. Trying to be easy on myself but I'm overwhelemed by my lack of flexibility. Just gunna keep coming back! I know its a process.
I admire your efforts. I personally gave up middle splits as a goal, but I practice the pancake on a regular basis. From my own experience the rounding of the spine to get deeper into the pose, though it may look like it's deepening, it's generally counter productive. Like with most folds you want to fold from the hip and keep the spine long, what also helps is to not gaze down, but forwards...
Yin postures focus on the joint and connective tissue in the low back, pelvis, and hips. Engaging muscles around a joint often draws the joint together which creates stress on the muscles but not the connective tissue. In Yin, you cannot "push harder." To do so is counterproductive.
I'm working to heal a weird bilateral adductor injury that has been restricting my samakonasana...this class got me back into my full side split with ease! I'm amazed and very grateful. Yin yoga is just wonderful, and I really like your class structures and teaching style, Kassandra. Also love to see Kit Kat.
I’ve been doing this video every couple of days for the last two weeks now. I have tight hip flexors and I find that these exercises are not only helping my flexibility but also the blood circulation in my legs and feet. So, thank you, thank you for this class!
You are INCREDIBLE.. after I left competitive sports , and had several injuries, I struggled with motivation to exercise, and would go for a week and then just be bored of it. Yoga has excited me in ways I can't describe. Like I clock out at work and I just can't wait to get home and be on the mat. Since I started doing your routines , I've increased my flexibility, strength, and energy levels. Thank you, I'm not dying in and practice, and I'm a much calmer, happier, healthier person than what I was in March. 🙏🙇♂️

Good evening Kassandra! I wanted to say because of this video and my consistency, tonight I was able to do the frog pose all the way down to the ground. It felt so good to finally achieve the pose. I am also very close to achieving the middle split.. Thank you so much.
and this rounds of my 10 days (originally 7) of yin yoga long classes for splits and hips and hamstrings. starting and finishing with this practice, I do feel more comfortable in my hips but also that I am flexible and can before more with regular practice. thank you Kassandra x
Kassandra your stretch routine was amazing however you could continue talking a bit while we hold the stretches, as your voice is very sweet and soothing. Loved the class. I’m usually very flexible, but my inner right thigh/groin is so so tight for some reason and this has kept me from training for middle splits. Will definitely repeat this class a couple times to see if it helps.
Think this is my favourite by far! Echoing what a few have already expressed: intense but in a good way. It challenged me to relax even deeper without even trying. Surprised how much further my body wanted to gravitate to. Will be doing this on a regular for awhile...
Any advice from fellow yogis?? I feel so inflexible and I’m trying to work on that! When did people start seeing progress? How often were people doing them?
