I loved this class! It was such a challenge. My legs were shaking on that warrior II and I was spinning trying to maintain that standing pigeon pose. Thank you so much for having so much amazing content. Seriously, I don't know what I'd do during this quarantine without your excellent instructions

Kassandra, youtube really should invent the LoveLoveLove button... I have been practicing yoga for 22 months now, doing 70-90 mins every morning. I have done A LOT of yoga classes. This, dear, was easily THE BEST hip sequence I have ever done. Perfectly built up sequence, perfect cueing. I love the fact that your cues are so very professional they let me practice with my eyes closed almost the whole time. You are now officially in the list of top notch instructors. Wonderful class, thank you!

Yes to this. Just finished the class and felt the exact same way. So grateful for the core-related reminders, felt myself weaving breath and core engagement in a new way as my hips started releasing.
I love how this starts out almost deceptively mellow, so you can start even if you’re tired, and then slowly ratchets up the intensity so that you end up with a kick-ass workout.
I chose this video because Kassandra adds a lot of really clear pointers on where my body should be positioned. It seems like she knows really well where a beginner's form might slip. I appreciate so much all of her cues to keep my body aligned properly.
Kassandra, you are by far the best yoga instructor. The sequence and flow of your classes are perfect for me. My body feels so open afterwards and this is better than the $20 I pay for each class at the yoga studio I go to. The only difference is that I practice hot yoga at my studio and it really opens up my joints. Your flow in this class has accomplished this without the heat! Thank you so much and please add more classes!

without a doubt the best hip opening practice I've experienced. I am committed to yoga about 3-4 times per week and always try to select one class that focuses on the hips. They always feel more open than before, but this practice TRULY OPENED them in ways I never thought possible. I appreciate the strength and flexibility this practice offered. Will definitely be returning!

this is the best hip opening yoga workout! I have sciatica and my hips and front of thighs are really tight. I did this practice this morning first thing after waking up... and went for a qi massage in the afternoon. usually.... when my hip /bum / it band will be painful like hell when it's being massaged. but today, there was a huge difference! my masseuse commented that the muscles are very relaxed and soft and I didn't feel any pain or tension when being massaged. this is AMAZING! I'm gonna make this a daily practice! thank you Kassandra! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍

I can't believe how well this helped me just doing the first few stretches I could already tell a difference.. I'm only 26 and no children and I couldn't believe the amount of discomfort and even at times grinding "catching" pain I have been having in my right hip! This should keep me away from the chiropractor for a while ! Thank you

My thighs were absolutely burning at some points in this, i had to stop and stand up for a minute. This was my first full hour of yoga (been doing 30min vids for the past 2 months). The pace was great and I'm so glad I finished it!
Underwhelming Supernova I still have to take a couple breaks too, especially when most of my weight is on my front leg(I still have trouble distributing the weight evenly, though I'm getting better at it) my leg muscles start to burn haha

I discovered your Chanel a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for yin yoga classes, I already feel improvement in my body's flexibility, thing that have been stagnating for me. Thank you so much for your wisdom and hard work that we are all benifiting from.I have a wrist injury so I do most poses that use wrists on my finger tips since almost 6 months now, do u think that's feasible?? Why do you only practice from youtube? Do you prefer a home practice to public classes? (Just curious as I used to go to classes but haven't found any here I like yet, so I also practice from videos etc). It would be nice to hear about someone elses experience of their home practice :)

Kassandra, thank you for this class! Let me start off by saying that I have never taken yoga in my life. I do a lot of strength training, power lifting, and sprinting. For the past few months, my hips, adductors, and overall groin area has in so much pain that I would even walk funny after doing even the easiest of tasks. Something has been pulling so bad that it is throwing everything out of wack. I've tried stretching, rolling, self-massage... nothing seemed to help. Someone recommended that I try yoga and see what that will do for me. I'm desperate for relief. I'll try anything! So this morning I went and bought a yoga mat and searched for yoga videos for tight hips. Found your video, thought you were pretty, and gave it a try! First off... YOGA IS NO JOKE! Everything was tight and my balance is just awful! Fell over twice. However I stuck with it and completed the whole video. I was impressed with myself in some areas and embarrassed in others. But all in all I really enjoyed it. I was able to be vulnerable in the comfort of my own home while learning something new. My hips and glutes are a bit tender at the moment, but that's to be expected. I feel really good! I'm going to continue to watch your videos every couple of days or so. Maybe on off-days from the gym. As soon as we were laying there at the end of the video, I was reflecting on what went on the past hour and I really feel like my body needs this. the beginning of class when you said you weren't using props is what sold me to try this flow. I'm so glad I did it, king pigeon was the only pose I needed my strap and as I slowly emerge back into the asana practice of yoga, I am pleased with this video and added it to my favorite yoga Playlist. thank you kassandra
Love the unhurried practice. The music, your voice and the pace of the practice is reassuring and builds my confidence to attempt poses for the length of time that I would never attempt otherwise. Just did my first try at this class and I think it was just what I was looking for! My hips have really tightened up over the last few months and I've been looking for a yoga practice to help me get them back to where they were.
