Missing an exam, forgetting that I registered for a class and it's now the end of the semester, I have to go back to high school to redo senior year even though I'm 40 and have a master's degree... Still anxiety-inducing.

This is pretty awesome. I'm not a coder, so I don't know how it would work, but I wish the heart rate only controlled your kart speed, not the speed of the entire game. I feel like changing the speed of the game as a whole doesn't offer any real challenge, other than everything moves really fast above 100. Can you imagine needing to run to get your heart rate pumped up so you can win, or really calm down to try and score 12th?
