- Lindsey Hunter did an excellent job of frustrating Dwyane Wade in the 2005 ECF. While Tayshaun Prince had the size and length advantage, Hunter had speed and quickness to counter Wade and was the Pistons' most effective Wade defender for the series. With his shorter stature he could crowd Wade and get under him, yet still react quick enough to Wade's first step. Hunter pressured Wade the full length of the court, shadowed him off the ball and around screens, and with his excellent hands stripped Wade quite a few times as well. Hunter also did an excellent job of denying entry passes when Wade tried to post him up.
I remember watching Hunter stripping or tying up the ball on layup attempts on fast breaks, not from side or behind, but straight up face to face. His on-ball D is amazing.

@@rawswisher43 Not really, LeBron almost beat the Pistons in 06 when they still had Ben Wallace.
@@rawswisher43 Tayshaun Prince was 27 years old in 2007. By the time he was 32 he wasn't even on the Pistons any more
@@rawswisher43 the 06 series went 7 games. LeBron averaged 26ppg 8rpg 6apg. The only other Cavs player to average double figures was Big Z 10.9ppg. Literally a one man team.
