This made me lol, but i think he’s asking which club does he choose from his bag week to week depending on conditions, and Colin was wondering if he switches his wedges week to week or if he just sticks with the same ones and adapts to the conditions with a familiar club
Wolff does a good job of explaining the complexity of his decisions and why he likes certain clubs. He also has a refreshing sense of humor about himself, much needed on the PGA. The "like" thing is a SoCal dialect. Totally normal for someone from Agoura Hills, CA where I'm also from!
11:30 Wolff: I’m gonna hit one for you guys TM guy: yeah we get it, use the toe. So Collin.. Wolff: But like look at this though TM guy: yeah 100% Wolff: *goes back to playing in the sandbox* Man I feel bad for the guy. He means well.
it is very great to see top players share tips each other how to play a specific shot. I wish this kind of share much more happened in real life, not only in sport
Man... wolff good at explaining. Soon as you start calming down, taking longer strokes... pretty cool what happens with your body after a while. It's really noticeable on drives. Try hitting 30 balls with each club. But do them slow and controlled. No worries about distance. Just straight off the face with intended loft. I promise... you'll fix everything eventually. You're hands, arms, will tell you something is wrong if you can't do it slow.
He said both came off beautifully, he was most likely looking at Collins shot. When Matt said "like that" after talking about thinning it, the rep probably thought he hit it well and completely forgot what Matt was just talking about haha
I like how Trottie is prompting them to talk about the clubs and bounce and tech… and they drift to talking about technique and feel and conditions lol. Having the right tools helps.. but practice will provide the biggest difference.
Wolfy just said why his swing is a figure 8. He learned the game, with the premise of “picking it clean”, as do a lot of players. Sorry for all the comments, but I am trying to mimic MW.
@10:50 Proof that you don't put left hand on the club first. I wish people knew this as well. You gotta feel it in that throwing hand first. Crazy how much I pick up off these videos now that I"ve applied myself heavily the past two years! Season is almost here!!!
Maybe I misunderstand, but you only hold the club with the right hand first in order to set the face and place the left hand, then place the right hand. I think most ppl do know this. It's how most teach it. Kinda hard to imagine how else it would be done since the left is somewhat underneath the right.
Comparing amateurs to tour pros is just ludicrous, amateurs don't have the skill level, technical ability, available time, access to top of the range practice facilities and access to experimenting with top level equipment.
9:39 "We'd like to have it pick almost", looks over at Matt digging a hole 🤣 Tour players are the worst to take advice from, they don't know how they do things, they just do them
Feel vs real. They know exactly how they do things, and there isn't anyone better to learn from than tour pros. If you want cliche golf magazine solutions, rick shiels' channel is a couple clicks away.
@@AlabamaTrumpeter My point is that they will tell you what they feel, not what is real. Rick Shiels is a clickbait coach selling quick fixes, someone like Mike Malaska is the way to go. Let me know how you get on feeling what world class athletes do
I have to agree with both sides of this argument. Nobody knows more about the mechanics of a golf swing than a touring pro and their coaches. But by the same measure, the way they explain or feel those mechanics are a very personal thing. I relate well to Tigers "Everything is arms and hands" I have a fast body, and need to feel that my hands and arms are doing all the work and my body just turns. Someone like Big Ernie will talk about just rotating through the shot, which fucking murders me. I would say the best way to learn is to listen to the Pros, try a few small things that make sense to you on the range, and stick with the repeatable results that work for you.
@@hoodyhoo1004 calm down bud. He’s a great golfer. One of my fave young golfers mate. But tell me he doesn’t talk too much and I’ll tell you who’s full of it. Go off bud
Capital "T" on Trottie. Capital "W" on Wolff. They are names. I'm only saying this due to seeing you correcting everyone else on here. Guess your spellcheck is better than your grammar?
Wolff is a lousy corporate spokesman for Taylormade. He hasn't proven himself and he certainly isn't matured enough to be out there with Tiger, DJ, and other pros on Taylormade's team. Wish they would let him go.
I love how Colin, sounds like Tiger when he talks about feel.
nice comma
And Matthew kind of like Rory🤣
colin just sounds like tiger in general with his voice, it’s honestly crazy
Nice articulations
@@spellingchampeon eye roll, lol :0
Trottie - How do you choose which one to go for?
Wolff - Well It's definitely week to week.
Morikawa - Do you switch your wedges?
Wolff - I don't

Cant wait until the Collin Morikawa and Tiger shot shaping range session!!!!
You guys are ruthless I feel like wolf does perfectly fine.
Yeah I think he does a good job of explaining things.

Mental how much Collin Morikawa sounds like Tiger, not just in the voice, but the way he talks about the game. Wow
Man, Wolff. ADHD kicking in strong.
Feel like Morikawa is like Tigers pupil in a way. Very mature with how he speaks and explains.
Gotta figure out the putter and he might get some legitimate comparison in 10 years
Wolff gotta stop and gather his thoughts for like 3 seconds lol
I love how this guy just doesn’t give a shit about your comment
He's just too excited about golf lol and that's great
Lmaaaooooo he's like Elon Musk of golf
Morikawa and Fleetwood are by far my favourite golfers at the minute.... love Rory too! Marikawa is the best iron player IMO
I love all these videos. The best coaches on the planet.
You gotta clip it niceler
😂 caught that too
Drinking game: Take a shot every time Wolff says ‘like’
I would but I don’t want to die bro😂😂💀
Try DJ and "you know."
Replace "like" with "me" or "I". He still has lots of growing up to do.

Wolff: But like look at this though
TM guy: yeah 100%

Two of my favourite players on tour. Love to hear their insight
Haha the hate towards Wolfe is so funny but undeserved haha. He's a good kid
Being a good person doesn’t excuse being super annoying
Don’t worry....Wolfe will always have the last laugh against RUclips warriors 😂 $$$
Wolf has the most rhythmic swing on the tour. I have adopted it and have fallen in love with the game again.
LMFAO Matt just created a new word! "Niceler" @ 1:04
Nice catch

I hope Wolff knows we're laughing with him and not at him. Gotta love the guy - he's so relatable.

3 of my favorite guys in all of golf! Great video!
8:40 Matt hits one too heavy and ball goes in the bunker and the TaylorMade guy said the ball came off beautiful?
Haha I saw that too
I think he was giving him shit lol

Wolff's comment about the high toe and more time on the grooves is funny.
I like the way Collin acknowledges that keeping the ball high is no longer the tenant of the short game, unless you have to fly a bunker.
Yall forgot that Wolff is still only 21🤯
was 21 in this video but he just turned 22
Never heard a tour pro talk as much as Wolff and offer such little value 😂 Colin offering golden nuggets as always
colin is WILDLY talented. matt won’t stop talking and CM’s like “great more practice time for me” 😂
Colin does a great job of communicating his thoughts. Matt had way too many “like” and found him a bit annoying.
Can't believe these guys are almost the same age

@@GP-qz6kk It is fine both way actually. Whichever you prefer comfort wise. I was waiting for this reply ha.
Morikawa rocking the sock jock.
So what I’m getting from this is that around the greens, bounce and grind are more important than loft?
8 is low bounce for TM but mid bounce for Vokey and Cleveland. I wonder why TM doesn't offer 4 deg bounce in anything.
I love that they go to the 60 first
we love trottie

One thing that helps if you’re struggling with using bounce is to pretend your skipping your club head like a rock on a pond!
If matt says “like” 1 more time I swear. Lmao
First Minute „like“ 10 times tf 😂
Listened attentively for a minute and you couldn't be more true..
Anybody notice very last shot, Colin went at Matt's flag, then Matt went at Colin's flag. Haha always trying to win!! 🏆✌

Hahaha some of you need to chill. People acting like they’d be perfect in front of a camera.
Lol, Did Mathew wolf spray his pants on?
I'm fairly certain Wolff got paid to put subliminal messages in peoples minds to click the "like" button. Not very subtle though...
the taylor made dude is awesome on camera
Wolff talks A LOT man.
Matt “like” Wolff
stay on the angle where we can actually see where the ball goes jesus christ
At the risk of being flamed : thank God its two players who explain feel and not Bryson who just talks numbers and shit that doesn't help amateurs.
