10 minutes of pure joy, made it look easy 😅 this is such a ridiculously cool car, i've never followed a car build on YT like i did this one from the very first video where you bought it with a missing grill and some ugly ass fake vents 😂
Also i kinda like how this car is an amalgamation of Evo 5 and Evo 6, the spoiler is Evo 6 but the front bumper is kinda Evo 5,but also has the sides of the Evo 6 TM Bumper that conects with the wide fenders, and the back bumper is just an unique piece that no Evo had (i believe), makes it a very original build, and the obvious fact that is FR instead of AWD, thank you for the countless hours of priceless content, don't you dare crash that thing! Also get yourself a Evo sticker for the boot 😅
I couldn’t agree more with this comment. There’s nothing quite like having a 1 of 1 car that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world. This car is truly unique and seeing the reaction on people’s faces has already made the whole build worth the time & $$. ❤️

Dude.. whats the dimension/size of your old intercooler? It looked flushed & fit..
It’s the smaller maxpeedingrods intercooler. It would have been very restrictive on the new engine setup. It was perfect for the 4g93 turbo however!
Amazing craftsmanship. I was really hoping this was going to be like a parts swap thing so Shade Tree Guys Like Me could do this.....nope.
I wish steel in the US came in blue paint.
The blue paint here is just a rust preventative I think. Still cool though!

That car deserves much more power and torque. ca18 is a great motor but its only going to hold that car back.
I can tell you from driving it, it has the perfect amount of power 😁

And in a week need new baerings, not sure is that ca18 the best option to go but well should be rather easy to swap to sr when you broke that one :)

Is it street legal though? Been thinking about doing this to mine but unsure if its legal to drive on the street being that the fuel tank is in the boot instead of underneath
It’s as street legal as it needs to be haha. As long as it’s done properly you won’t have too much trouble…unless you’re being silly in it 😛

Cheers! This is actually just a regular lancer 😅 we couldn't bring ourselves to cut up a genuine evo.

No wonder the 93 had a hole in the block its not even a turbo engine but good to know you can plus t it
It had a dud fuel pump in it when the thieves stole it. So it would have run lean and exploded. The car ran amazing with the turbo for 10,000km before that and I thrashed it 🤣

Why a CA18 you ask? My theory is because they’re they dime a dozen engine because everyone wants the SR20 for better mod-ability, everyone I know that have gotten an s14 with the CA18 have ether engine swapped to an SR or sold the car on to get one with an SR

In my opinion, he 4cyl is right at home in this chassis. A 6cyl just wouldn’t feel right. And the sounds this ca18 makes are just AMAZING

Why didn’t you just buy another evo motor and bolt up the basics and chuck it in?….you hacked up an evo and downgraded it with an old ass ca18 and butchered the body and turned it into Frankenstein….could of at least gone a sr20 and kept it awd and used pulsar gtir drive train and running gear….🤦🏻♂️
