The amount of work that is in this video you’d probably be better off building a house from scratch. Especially when you have tradesmen doing all the work.
What is the objective when utilizing containers? Repurposing containers so they don’t sit and rust in a field? Or is it actually more cost effective for the builders?
It can be cost effective, but as with anything, that will depend entirely on the other materials chosen. Containers offer a base shell and structure without needing to assemble outside walls, and because they are steel they are inherently fireproof. They're meant to be stacked on top of each other by design, so that also is a point going for them. Shipping container homes can be done relatively affordably, but I'd guess their biggest selling points is the time you can save with construction.
Hello I really like this project, I have land in Ghana and have been looking for a fabulous design. Is it possible to purchase this design for you?? Only difference is I would prefer 3 40ft container on top. On
they can be cheap cabins but after a certain size it's cheaper just to use raw metal or blocks or stone or wood... the advantage is they go up with a roof and doors immediately, so if you need emergency shelter and have a concrete slab they can go up immediately.
Not convinced that all the effort is worth it over just building a regular framed home. The strength of the container is compromised by cutting into it so you have to add expensive work back to reinforce it and you are restricted by the size of the container. Romantic idea for sure but in the end, just build a framed house.
Wood is not the same as containers, which are potentially a waste product after their shipping life is over. It's worth the effort to repurpose as opposed to harvesting more trees.
I wonder how many superlatives are used in this 11 minute video. Sounds like some the Christmas letters I receive from wonderful people who have perfect children, strikingly beautiful, huge homes, enviable vacations, bla, bla, bla
Really too bad you couldn't give a more complete tour of the finished spaces. Just a glimpse makes me think the humungous table is more an obstruction than an asset. There is surely no space left in that main room for the sofas and other comfortable furniture mentioned. It was a disappointment after all the time spent watching the build. No bathrooms or bedrooms revealed?
Nice Construction.... However... AI waffle commentary. What was a respected Shakespearean Actors Voice, has been miraculously and precisely transformed into a YT Waffle machine. Lord Gizmo... Please do real commentary without the AI waffle and word padding. You will gain more respect.
I guess containers would be more sturdy then simple would buildings. But where is the tour of the finished product? How many rooms does this building have? What about air conditioning? is it done via HVAC? I don't even know what is the point of that big table out of concrete? That can not be moved any more. I get the feeling this is nothing but a show case and nothing to live in.
This is so cool!
I like seeing people turn things like these into houses!😎

lol the cost of the 2 shipping containers is a fraction of the price of all the materials to build a house from scratch
nice work🏠
great job. Love it what did this cost?????
Super!
What a beautiful piece of art, but of course, it comes with a hefty price that most of us wouldn't be able to afford..
How much would this have cost start to finish i wonder. Great effort for sure!
My guess would be at least $600k+ finished interior and exterior. Not cheap. Don't forget the permits.
Çok güzel
excellent job

The savings come into play if you're able to fabricate yourself. So, learn to weld and you'll come out ahead.
Hope those containers did not contain anything toxic in a previous life.
💪👍❤❤
Where are they allowed to be put if you don’t own land?
What is the total cost..?
Where I can contact this building company..?
❤😮New subs here
What? No interior tour?
Hmm? Those container do have some rust. The narrator is just reading a script. I'm in the shipping business.
I noticed the rust immediately lol I'm a welder and it definitely caught my eye .... I've been seriously thinking about building one
@@lorenzowhite1512 A little rust is not a problem. I think you should make a unit.
lol its called ai 🤦♂️
@@gerald4384rust is a big issue if u leave it and build over it without addressing the rust
@@gerald4384 A little rust might not seem like much, but it can really affect the machine’s performance and lifespan over time.
where can we use these containers?

I like " Container Homes" by why do people clad it to forget it was once a "Container?"

how much is cost tho as ive seen they end up costing alot over all
All well and good. However (3:43), what in Hell is 'a precise coat of paint'?
6:28 he missed a spot lol
Does this really help somehow? Building a wooden house frame is not much more work and you are not limited to the dimensions of the container.

@@dlux703 Ok, you got a point here. I did not think about that. I thought people think this will be a quicker way of building something.
how much it costs to construct this buiding?
You always sign Ronaldo
Hello do you build container homes in Ghana west Africa???
Bruh im kenyan people r building this container houses its possible but mostly for commercial purpose ie shops
Total job cost?
From as little as $690k from conception to completion.
thats a lot of flipping money.. what currency are you talking? if i had to spend that much i'd just buy a regular home.
I need to know the end cost. This may be an option to make my vision possible.
Is this available in india karnataka
so this video was remade an sped up wit a voice over … i knew i saw this before lol .. good job tho

Wtf where is the interior tour I waste almost 11 minute for no final tour are you serious genius 🤔
