    I'm so glad you guys did this video. Amazing how far you've come and what a fantastic job you've done! Your kids are going to have this documentary to share in the pride of what their parents built for a home out of two big steel boxes. We're all so proud of what you've done. I love your music selection as well. So heart felt. You're crushing it! The two of you are one hell of a team.

    I’ve always loved this idea of using old shipping containers to make a home. They were just gonna sit in a junkyard and make waste anyways. It’s a beautiful thing ppl are making good use! Wish the government would do this for homeless with them💜 beautiful job!

    • @jesseochoa3214

      @AK2HI what does that even mean?

    • @konradkudzia28
      @konradkudzia28 24 дня назад

      These containers are recyclable , they don't just 'sit in a junkyard' forever.
      There is a 'value threshold' below which there is no point of recycling them, that's why they are sold on secondary markets - and that's why there is this whole push to use them as housing units - because you can make money on them after they can no longer be used as shipping containers.

    • @AK2HI
      @AK2HI 24 дня назад

      @ in Hawaii it’s illegal to use them as a house with out a permit, and the permit process in Hawaii is literally the worst in the US

    Watched from start to Finnish and to say I am impressed does not cover it. Clearly a labor of love and know how - wow. It has been a very long time since I have seen this type of craftsmanship in a couple so young (I'm 71) so - I subscribed cause these two deserve it. My only advice is stop smoking and live a healthy life while enjoying the fruits of a much deserved future. Best of luck Mr. Ed.

Mostly because of seeing your work and dedication into building something (I’m pretty critical here as I have been flipping homes for the last 20 years) correctly that was built with a budget in mind, sustainable, good natural light, so many things you did right here. Hello too the both of you. Just came across your video through a randomizer program. Cool beans too you with the build, doing it your way in the order ya did it dosen't normally happen that way. But, you did get the job you were hoping to get done. The next time you do a build and I 100% guarantee you are going to go bigger you will know what didn't work and what will make it easier.
    The reason I actually started to even write this while watching. I got to the point in the video where you were putting the foam board on the inside of the skirting around the building. It is not to late, and I don't know if you know or if anyone had told you, but termites love that foam board. If you have any way to treat it from the top and let the treatment drain down you should address it.
    "Home Sweet Home" congratulations.!

    Great result. To be honest I didn't understand every step you took or why/what you exactly did in some steps, because it's so different building houses than it's in Germany (or probably most of Europe). Really great! Merry Xmas to both of you and your families!

    Make sure you either caulk, spray foam, or weld really good around your framing so insects don't find their way in. Doing a great job, Orlando, FL. USA

    That's crazy. I love this build! What do you do for work? Just wondering being that you are both so young, it's incredible to see such work ethic and knowledge put to use in your work in this video

    Wow, just watched in pure amazement. I think your dog is impressed! If that had been me, it would be a Charlie Brown house.
