I was going insane adjusting the brakes on a used Cannondale F500 CAD2 I purchased recently at a garage sale for only $35. The bike is in like-new condition, but someone along the line put the rear brakes together wholly wrong. This excellent video showed me exactly how it went together, and in what order to adjust it. After three hours of frustration, got on RUclips and watched this video and NAILED IT on my first attempt. I should have watched this in the first place. Our son is moving into his dorm for his first year of college tomorrow, and this video saved the day for me. Many thanks...now I can finally load up the bike up and send him to school!

Thank you for your detailed professional explanation. Cantilever brakes are nearly extinct in Japan where I live. My 1990 MTB needs break adjustments, but I found that it was hard to find a right shop to leave my bike for such adjustments. I'll watch this video many times and try to adjust the brakes by myself.
