JUP, asked my now ex narc what she liked about me and she said :" i saw how you treated your ex and i wanted that too, I was jealous tbh cause she didn´t deserve how good you treated her" should´ve run right there and then. oh and when she said she loves me after 2 weeks of knowing. oh and after tricking me in moving in together after the second month. guys/gals be careful out there.

Yeah, it's really important they have a complete different selection process. And they have a toolbox of tricks, like take you by surprise, so that you don't have time to think
In addition, the combination of not beeing able to be alone and their delusions of grandeur? Like they believe once unknown, you stay forever unknown. Not that they can read you correctly.
As HG Tudor (the! narcissist) says, well, is it intuition when you see them in front of the window, while you were thinking about them? Maybe they've only been there twenty times.

It's all the same. Every human has NARC traits, but you and I have healthy levels of stuff happening. I am a survivor. I do NOT have all the answers. Anyone can be a NARC. They have zero empathy... they have no capacity for love. Many are control freaks. Hope that helps "someone."

Pretence..it's a casting appointment..you are unknowingly trying out for a role they need to survive in the day to day, to quell the harsh insults they hear in left ear..gotta quiet that crap down .the inner critic .inner child..and your role will be to bolster and join in w/the crap they hear in their right ear, " you are god like, I adore you, you can burn me with lit cigarettes as I shine your shoes " that about it, let's just hope you flunk the audition
