The ingredient in all of your recipes that isn't listed but is always there is the love that shines through. The love for "your Ron", the love of cooking and the love you have created in all of us with whom you share your heart and your skills. Thank you for all of it, Rachel!
I just discovered your channel this week and I’ve been binge watching. I don’t like to cook but I like to watch cooking videos. I think I will try a few of your recipes because your instructions are so clear and understandable. And you are just the cutest thing! I’m an 81-year-old great great grandmother and my mother cooked Scandinavian. Lutefisk, actually rotten fish I think, was a tradition for the holidays. She made amazing homemade bread that was always coming out of the oven just as I got home from school. My parents were from the Midwest, lived on farms, and they carried on the tradition of growing most of our food. Neither my brother nor I ever had a childhood disease even though we were exposed through our kids and grandkids. That’s the result of healthy eating and living before TV and electronic devices.
That looks sooo delicious Rachael! I may have already told you but I am 85 yrs. young and I am on dialysis as I am end stage kidney disease, but I do so love the way you put a dish together. I used to cook an awful lot but no more. I have diabetes which was a big contributor to the failure of my kidneys and I have always eaten too many salty foods as well as a lot of el polo loco, which I would many times add to my casseroles and soups and that in combination to all of the others led to my final downfall. Keep on cooking Rachael as we all salivate when you cook and you have a beautiful way of presenting your 🥘🥰
I just absolutely love the way you prepare and cook food, always explaining why and how you do what you do in order to get the best flavours etc out of every dish. Thank you Rachel.
Rachel, I just made this boy oh boy what a labor of love. From my home to yours a bunch of bendiciones I’ve been wanting to make a chowder and this rocks. Well I’m about to eat no interruptions and god bless your hands and the cooks who make this.
This was wonderful.. and definatly worth every extra step...my timer just rang, gotta go dish up a big bowl..we just got 14" of snow and no signs of stopping perfect😘
I make clam chowder all the time but next time I want chowder I’m making this! I can taste it in my mind and I know it is fantastic!!! Can’t wait to make this!!! Thanks Rachel for all your wonderful recipes! We can taste the love 💗 whenever we make them! God Bless you and your Ron! 😇🙏
Oh my Rachel! Seafood isn't a favorite of mine, although I do love shrimp and I love a baked cod. BUT I would love this chowder! I was ready to eat when you were cooking those veggies! Allan is a native Bostonian and he was salivating watching this video! YES! This is on my "to do" list!
Rachel, just finished the seafood chowder wow you’ve made me very happy cause this recipe is fantastic. I used tilapia and you’re right I’ll use cod fish next time. Please do more chowder recipes. Here in New York it’s winter and I love these soups so hearty. Thank you.
Love to be there during the taste testing. Another great recipe by the greatest lady that cooks for real, no fanfare. Thanks for sharing. I love chowders.
Rachel! Your seafood chowder looks amazing! I could smell the wonderful aroma in your kitchen! I will definitely be making this recipe! 🤗 Thank you for sharing your great recipes!
I made this today 10/13/21. Don't know if you look back a year later. It was delicious and it is a lot. I need to clean out my freezer so I can freeze the rest. It is really hearty and so good.
Looks absolutely scrumptious!! This is going to happen this coming weekend at my house this weekend. The family is going to love it!! Thanks Rachel!! I truly appreciate you, Amiga ❤
Rachel de mi parte no te mereces un, dedito arriba te mereces , 20 millones de deditos arriba WOW Eres la # 1 en cocinar la champion de todo RUclips.. Bendiciones. 🙏 desde California 🙂
Omg! I’m making this! I know this is an older video but that’s the great thing about RUclips channels. You can watch and rewatch! This looks perfect. As in perfection. 🤩
Miss Rachael, wherever did you learn all these delicious recipes? Did you just make them up. They make my mouth water just watching. They look sooo good I can almost smell and taste them. My daughter and I take turns cook for our families and thanks to you we're never at a loss as to what to cook with you as our mentor. We never get bored with the same old meals over and over. Thank you so very much. God bless You and your Ron.
Whenever I fix shrimp that I have peeled, I put those shells back in the freezer. When the bag is full, I that those shells and bits and pieces of saved vegetables (carrots, celery, pepper, onions, etc) to make a large batch of stock. Really enhances the flavor of shrimp creole.
This looks heavenly delicious. I need to try this. I love chowder, I make corn chowder but have never made this kind. Yummy....i enjoyed watching. Thank you
This is watching a master at work! You are a fabulous teacher. This looks so incredibly delicious!! And your easy to follow instructions make it doable. I cannot wait to try it!!
Rachel. You are soooo precious. You really cook with love. I have made several of your recipes, and they are truly delicious. The only one I did not like was the cornbread casserole. I made it on Sunday for a party, and it had a raw taste and texture. Today I made your albóndiga soup, and omg!!!!! My Bob loved it. So good. Thank you for sharing and cooking with love.
Oh I just LOVE your videos and the delicious food you cook Rachel. And, best of all you make good, nutritious, hearty, tasty down to earth food with staple foods none of which are overly expensive. I am from South Africa and chowder is not made here much but boy oh boy I AM going to give your one a try. It looks stunningly delicious and seems easy to make. Thank you! ❤
Well it’s that time of the year for sure … and I can’t wait too try this seafood chowder. Oh my goodness, thanks Rachel. Have a wonderful happy week with hubby. 🦀
I live on the West Coast at the beach and I dig my own clams when possible. Big fat meaty razor clams. My chowder recipe is way simpler than yours but it’s the best chowder I’ve ever tasted, and I’m not the only one that says so. I have thought about adding creamed corn. To use your recipe I would have to take out a bank loan. I’m sure it’s delicious but unless you can catch your own seafood it would be very pricey. As I said in a previous comment that I made, I just discovered your channel and I love it.
Boy, I can taste this😋 My mother was an old New England cook. She used evaporated milk in a lot of her cooking; I do too. I can see this soup being the bacse for a seafood pot pie.🤗
I love your cooking techniques. I also love adding fresh herbs and lots of fresh vegetables when cooking. I am going to start adding my flour in small amounts next time I’m making gravy or soup. I live in gumbo country in SE Texas and am kind of burned out on gumbo. Been looking for different recipes for the colder weather when I ran across your channel.
Rachel, Rachel you are killing meee, that looks spectacular, it is the best for chilly weather, thank you for sharing it and all the other great recipes that you make! Oh, by the way, love the way you carrie yourself and explain concretely without too many words all the steps! Thank you again!!
Current time is 11:50pm , wow your seafood chowder looks so delicious 😋 yummy thanks for your time and effort that you put in your cooking l enjoy watching you cook, Julia from Sunnyvale, CA.
If I could jump through the electronics into your kitchen to cook with you and taste your food I’d do it. I love your logical explanations of the reasons you layer your foods to build a flavor profile. By the time you finish your cooking and taste your good there is a large pool of drool by my feet. I can practically smell your kitchen from Pennsylvania.
This looks so inviting. Only problem is that I'm allergic to shell fish. Otherwise I would make this in a jiffy. The broth looks so good as I love a great creamy soup. Here's wishing you a perfect fall weekend with your Ron and hopefully he'll take you on some kind of fun adventure my dear amiga.
Thsnk you my friend, you can leave out the shellfish and just use fish any kind, or just replace them with ham and bacon and add broccoli and cauliflower, it will be delicious too, thank you for your comment, and hope you have a fabulous weekend. ❤

The omega 3's are pop bang wow. I will make this with delight of you. With some crusty garlic bread and a nice salad. It's all you need. Thankyou.
I am really excited to try this recipe. I love that you share all those tips. Like that it freezes well. Those are very important.
Boy, I can taste this😋 My mother was an old New England cook. She used evaporated milk in a lot of her cooking; I do too. I can see this soup being the bacse for a seafood pot pie.🤗
Awesome recipe with exception to canned cream corn. This product does not contain a drop of cream. I will improvise because the result looks awesome.
Creamed corn refers to the milky residue you get when you scrape the corn kernels off the cob. It's not supposed to contain dairy cream.
I watch your shows all the time I cook your meals a lot they are delicious
Its time-consuming to make but I'm going to try it. Looks very rich & delicious.
