Sam is an awesome host! This was great lol
Thank you so much for that bread trick!!!
Never thought in a million years it would work! I was hitting the pilot bushing with a slide-hammer with no luck. Put some bread in there and it came right out!!! Thank you so much for what you do!
Bro the spring tabs on the throw-out bearing go on the inside of the bearing.
Did u have to measure bellhousing run out? I didn’t see that in this video, but it’s a requirement for maintaining the warranty on the tremec trans.
Yes it just was not in the video.
I am considering this swap for my 67 Firebird.
Do you have any pictures of what shifter boot and console shifter plate fit ?
That shifter looks tall.
With no console or carpet in the car and addition of hydraulic clutch how long should install take if being done by skilled ship
start to finish?
Hi Great video, im in the process of installing a Ford T5 with a Mustang rear case into my 69 Camaro. I have the Box in and ready for the cross member but struggling to find something off the shelf that will allow the box to sit higher into the tunnel. Would you know anyone that stocks crossmebers to suit my application even if I can modify it to suit. any help would be appreciated.
My neighbor just tried to put a 5 spd in his 68 camero and said the shifter was too tall to go in ?
Seems like a easy fit into 67 firebird. But will i have to change my rear gears. What is your suggestion currently running 433:1
TREMEC has an app you can download to figure out your tire size and rear gearing for your desired cruising speed and rpm. My 69 currently has 4.11 rear gears and am going to change them out to 3.73 with the .68 option tkx OD and staying around 26” tires should put me at 70mph at 2300 rpm
