Waht your Austrian follower told you is really true, for us in south Germany too. Compared to English Nature ours is very poor. German protection of nature follows the rule: Nobody is admitted. In England people are invited to come to nature reserves an watch from hides. We really envy you.

That is a shame. As long as the public are respectful then they should be allowed to see it. The revenue generated also helps to fund it.
