Hi Darrell We liked the Wren photograph and the Sandmartin. It is always nice to see something different like the Sandmartins. You were lucky to see the Kestrel in flight there does not seem as many these days as there used to be. Take care. Thanks Jon and Sandra

I think I filmed this toward the end of July. I am still using back up videos. I think I will venture out at the weekend. I have given myself a full two weeks off to properly recover. I feel pretty much back to normal.

@@DarrellOakdenPhotography Oh yes, of course, I recall you did mention that. Good to know you are feeling more like your old self, but take it easy when you do venture out!

Good stuff Darrell, I used to drive past there on my way to work every day, only visited once as I couldn't get the relax with the noise from the M6. Nice pic of the juvenile wren 👍

Not easy to photograph Sand Martins in flight, well done. You're tern is a Common Tern and next pic is a juvenile Black-headed Gull 👍

Hi Darrell, I wasn't too far from there yesterday at Mere Sands Wood. Some great Dragonfly action going on there 👍 Really enjoyed the video and nice images 📷 Never been to Brockholes but will do someday. Cheers Mate.

Some great images there Darren. The kestrel you took may have been Kevin. I went to photograph him after seeing him on one of Dan Willis videos. Kevin turns up in the car park quite often, I got some great images. Check out Dans video 👍

Trouble with many nature reserves they are not made for photography more for those folks with binoculars and scopes. Did like the remark in your right up 'This peaceful wander is filled with the sights and sounds of nature' lol.

There used to be a very photogenic kestrel called Kevin that used to hang around the carpark. Was well known, Dont know if hes still around. Shame the reed beds arent managed a bit better for us photographers. Did you not spot any of the deer in the woodlands.

I have actually had it now for about a month. My videos are not Chronological at the moment because I filmed quite a few before my operation.
