Hi Darrell The robin on the post was really nice and the swallows are always well worth a photograph. It was a pleasant relaxing video. Take care. Many Thanks Jon and Sandra
Thx Darrell. Very good point you make about access to the countryside via public footpaths. I think it’s something many Brits take for granted. As an ex-pat one of my biggest frustrations is not having legitimate access to the countryside in the same way you have in the UK
I made the comment because I have seen RUclipsrs from overseas commenting on how it is not normal to have such access in other parts of the world. It is very similar with our wealth of nature reserves. We are spoilt here.
You live in a lovely part of the country, Darrell. Must be great to have that sort of countryside to explore right outside your front door. I think the un-named bird feeding on the berries at around 5.36 is a juvenile willow warbler.
Crikey you'd have been knackered after that little morning of activity. Glad to see you found some lovely images to help with the recovery process though.
Glad you thought to take it a bit easier as not good to overdo it and spoil your recovery. Photos were superb as always (especially the swallow in flight) and I enjoyed seeing your local area - what a great place to live. And definitely wise to be aware of slippery stiles. Some in my area are so narrow, too, that you feel your foot will slide off. And some are made for giants with long legs!! Lol!
Thanks 👍I have lived here now since 2006. When we got married it was a choice between living here or in my small terrace in a town. It was an easy decision. Thanks as always for continued support.
@@DarrellOakdenPhotographyAbsolutely the right choice! We live in the countryside too and would only move back to a town, kicking and screaming, lol!? ?
Lovely video Darrell, took me 8 weeks after surgery (not as serious as yours) to be fully back to fitness. Frustrating but worth not overdoing it and causing any issues
Hi Darrell. Really impressed with your photography. I am keen to improve my bird photography and was considering changing from Fuji XT 5 to Nikon Z8. Was wondering if you or any of your subscribers have any advice.
Sunday is a busy day for me (Church Minister) but I always look forward to the time I can sit down and watch the weekly video. Thanks as ever.
Thank you for your support. Glad to a part of your busy day.

Glad you enjoyed it. I often get the best photos in my back garden.

Thank you. If in doubt I don’t commit to an identification. I am notoriously poor at identifying the less common birds.

Thanks Denise. I consider my back to full fitness now. It is just over 6 weeks since the op and I've not looked back.
@@DarrellOakdenPhotography yay! Great to hear. Enjoy those next adventures for being out with the camera in nature - and birds.
Back to back Great Video Darell Oakden Photography....❤❤
Thanks again! Glad you are enjoying the content.

My operation was six weeks ago today and I would say that I am back to full fitness.

I can only recommend the z8 - I really enjoy using it and get great results. I have no experience with the Fuji.
