By internalizing your emotions and pondering on why you react in certain ways or why you have certain defense mechanisms helps you to contain and control your emotions. @undercover_operative bruv your feeling are merely reactions to a pereception of an event. His statement that feeling only hate is from a wound is describing repressed trauma causing self loathing and self destructive behaviors, which is well documented in psychology.
@@pyrometheus4277 I can't quite agree with your definition of them as 'fictional'. Feelings may not be objectively true or accurate, but they are a real part of our experience and are important in shaping our worldview and perception of our lives. Even if they aren't always fully accurate, they are still very real, and their impact on our lives is undeniable. I’d say they are more biological than they are fictional. The way you phrase feelings as a “story that makes us more comfortable” makes it seem like you’re referring to it as a coping mechanism, when it is in reality a survival mechanism. Humans evolved to have more complex and vivid feelings/consciousness than animals. Feelings are psychological weapons that humans use which has made us the advanced species. It is bizarre to say that such feat is fictional, since feelings prove that our consciousness is beyond anything on this world. Feelings are very useful tools.
If you have an eye as fucked up as that, as long as you keep a straight face and maintain eye contact you can pretty much say anything you want and seem deep.

Which is precisely what you should do. But consider, void of our social complexities, if you buy a dog and keep it in the side room for whenever you can be bothered to get around to petting it, it will be significantly more demanding of attention than one that's allowed to sleep by the bed side. That's not out of a lack of exercise or strife, and if left unmet will very likely cause the dog to become depressed.

Feelings are a neurochemical cocktail, meaningless over time as actions occur. All that matters is what you do and get done. Understand this and you unlock how to cope with those who can't. What reality? The objectively wrong statement made by the other guy? Or are you genuinely delusional enough to think that feelings aren't real?
@undercover_operative bruv your feeling are merely reactions to a pereception of an event. That by definition is fictional, it is a story we tell ourselves and other's to make things more comfortable.
@ghamdi7077 I think what he saying is that feelings can be fictional or feelings that shouldn't be based on the facts presented which means there should be a correct reaction but someone else feels some other way but there's no reason they should feel that way

First of all, yes feelings are real. Take a brain scan of someone feeling and you'll detect signals in the amygdala. In case you're confused by all the delusional commenters supporting his dad, the son here is clearly a victim of gaslighting and narcissistic manipulation. His dad essentially told him his feelings are based on a made up perception of reality. I feel bad for him watching him process how truly messed up his dad is to say something like that.
I was thinking the same thing. Not validating his son's beliefs/opinions/emotions.
His feelings maybe just don't matter so much liberal
*sigh* you're not too well versed with the metaphysical are you? "The first drink from the cup of natural sciences will make you an aithiest. But at the bottom of the cup, waiting for you, is god."
just a disclaimer that isn’t his dad, they hired him to roast the crap out of them, but he is referencing the “son’s” past trauma. Original channel is called The Boys
good damn, you must have achieved a lot in life
Classic gaslighting: “I’m loving you right now…feelings aren’t real.”
Toxic nonsense feelings are real and good to have them they show what is good and bad for ur body and are a reaction of actions if u or others and are made by chemicals..
Feelings can be deceiving. True love is an act. It is something you do on purpose. It isn't just a feeling. That's how it's supposed to be done
Love isn’t a feeling, it’s an action
I thought it was clear emotions and feelings are two different things?
You should delete your comment dog 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There's a "reaction" and then there's an actual energy. So it's depends. But most people often have reactions
Perspective is always a important thing to remember and understand

@@JakeAdkinsOfficialnot to mention it was already everywhere before it got everywhere
No
It's easier to hate than it is to love
But once u really feel love and can give it back to others you will realize how strong the word "hate" really is
Its easyer to love but harder to hate..hate is tireing 😂
I don't think it's easier to hate. Annoyed or bothered, sure, but hate takes work, at least for me. I will never hate someone consistently unless they are repeatedly hurting me to refresh the hate. Otherwise, it just turns to distaste and annoyance, but not hate.
@@easytherecowboy6978 you and me are different since i prefer to just ignore people to save time..
@@25thbaam43 I mean, that's a fair tactic too
It's def harder to hate then love for me. I felt it a few times breifly but hate drains my energy fast and its hard for me to hold on to a grudge cuz it feels like im just hurting myself more, when i can just let it go and be happy again.
TO EVERYBODY; Not only are feelings real, but FEELINGS ARE EVERYTHING. Embrace joy, embrace sadness, embrace anger, embrace love, embrace hate...
They’re definitely about to have a hood will hunting moment😂”it’s not your fault”😭😭

Got him, That guy has been hurt deeply by someone, I think he believed what the older gentleman was saying and that’s why his lip started to quiver. I think that guy just needed to hear that from someone who actually cared!!

That guy doesn’t seem to care

if rick was a real person
Rick knows feeling are real, that's why he drinks his sorrow away. That's why he is hellbent on killing Rick prime.
hahahaha
This man is not correct but broken. And he and many others like him need the love and support they just won’t receive in their life time and it leads them to believe it’s all just one big joke and that the only real thing in this world is action. Somewhere along the lines this man lost his soul and nobody bothered helping him look and it’s stories like these that make it so hard for me to wake up in the morning but also the reason we must keep pushing towards a better tomorrow
Beautifully presented 🤔

Feelings are real they’re not tangible though. You connect something that happened to you and your reaction to that is your feelings. You can control them.

100%, especially when you consider the relationship between feelings and hormones/chemical balances in the brain they are certainly real.
