Just finished series 2 of White Gold which a friend of mine recommended & its comedy gold. Surely the BBC could commission a third series even if Ed Westwicks character wasn't in it as it would still work just as well with the rest of the original cast.

Oh nice! The ‘Fleabag’ concept was adapted to an initially despicable, but in this case, ultimately unlikeable douchebag male character. Complete with its own Tim Canterbury-esque spoil, all under the basic concept of ‘Vacuuming Completely Nude In Paradise’..... Nice, I think. Actually, I like this series. But I can’t see ever liking or at least pitying the lead like you could at the series end of ‘Fleabag’. When the wife and kids appear at his office in the first episode, you’re like “who the hell are these people?? They couldn’t be his family!! Douchebags don’t have families!” And you never really buy it it through the initial episodes. I can you can’t say the BBC doesn’t recycle. At least they don’t milk all the life out of most of their series🤷🏽♂️ 3 seasons tops and they’re “Peace Out”✌🏽
Loved the inbetweeners. However... I hated the Simon character and hate him in this. Seems like he loves playing the role of a numbnuts, or more than likely. He really is one and acting isn't his calling. Oh well.
