Children and grown children of hoarders actually age quicker if they are forced to live in the mess. It does take a toll on your health.......I am a grown daughter of a hoarder and even though I have my own place I have had to 'take care' of numerous hoards of a parent. One time they hired 3 different storage units over the years and could no longer afford the bills so I had to donate, sort, put in the rubbish 3 very, very full garage size storage units and it took a toll on my health. This is just ONE example but there are many. ......Hoarders don't realize their childrens' health suffers in different ways because of their hoarding.
@ I didn’t mean anything related to the hoarding, but just that they literally look nearly the same to each other. 🙈 So sorry you grew up like that. ❤️
I'm sorry this sounds cruel and unsympathetic but pets do not deserve to be "cared" for by people who cannot do the bare minimum cleaning. If you can't be bothered to even change the kitty litter why do you have a cat? You can't even be bothered to wash the bowls and plates you eat from. Pets are at the mercy of people and can't choose their owners, it always makes me so sad.
There are definitely both mental and physical aberrancies in those two women. Not being unkind, just stating the obvious. And why...why, why, why??!!...do people who are incapable of caring for themselves insist on having any animals at all?? It's cruel to the animals, it's expensive for people who can't afford them, and they shouldn't be allowed to have even so much as a pet mouse!
I find watching these hoarder shows these houses seriously lack proper storage. The bedroom clothes closets are usually only able to accommodate about 3vfeet of hanging clothes, if people would decide how many clothes they absolutely need have a clothes closet built to accommodate all the hanging clothes so they are not stacked in piles all over the place. A serious crafter needs either a shelf with many bins to accommodate craft supplies or a big enough dresser with multiple drawers to accommodate all the supplies. I have a very neat house with proper storage for all my belongings which are not an unreasonable amount, and then you have to be consistent to put everything away after using it. I think these are more important for people to do before they tackle the hoard or it will become a hoarder house once again.
Totally agree with you. They never have enough storage. In my home I have a storage units for 3 families, everything is neat, in place, and labeled. Donating makes a huge roll in keeping reasonable amount of stuff, as well. 🙃
Same here, I have a small house but I throw out anything I don't need; my home is tidy, neat and clutter free. The majority of homes in the UK are pretty small compared to Australia and the US.
it is hard enough when we lose one person we love, but when a number of people we love die over a short period of time, it becomes overwhelming. my condolences for your loss ladies. i think the daughter did a wonderful job, helping her mother let go. i was wondering if there was a possibility to get a person from a cat center, to visit, and provide a few ideas, a routine/roster for caring for their beloved comfort cat, and a grief counsellor. thankyou ladies for having the courage to share your experience. ✨🕯🕯🧶🪡🌱
Streaming Music and Movies has been the greatest decluttering thing for me. I used to have a thousand movies and 500 CDs. Now? Zero CDs and maybe a box full of DVD/BluRays I cant ever find Streaming.
These two need to live a healthier life and get therapy. There is a lot going on there with them. I hope they will take advantage of the fresh start, but it takes work, and I'm not convinced they are willing to do it. So sad.
It can be hard to imagine what living with (insert any issue we haven't personally experienced here) is like. Luckily, it's pretty easy to be kind and not judge.
There's a definite mental deficiency in both of them---appears to be the same one---and that could very easily account for allowing such messiness. Sometimes, in some people, the brain simply doesn't see what's in front of it (the eyes don't recognize anything wrong), and there's no connection between "This is something I need to clean up now," and the brain's ability to tell the body to get busy.
Well, if this is the second or third time, they are there to help them.Apparently, they're not gonna learn a lesson, so just let them live in their squalor the mess they made.
That poor cat, how much piss has to be in a litter box before the litter stops absorbing??
Ugh… i empty mine 2x a day. Poor Kitty
@@palapalak.8907no reason the daughter couldn’t change the litter box !!!
Most cats simply stop using a nasty litter box and go some place else like all over the place.
They look very unhealthy.
I don't have faith this house will stay clean. Their final thoughts echoed that.
My god, they look exactly alike

Wow! It actually looks livable now! Hope it stayes that way, don't you?
Trying to mention this as gently as possible - ‘women is spelled with a an ‘e’ making it the plural of the word ‘woman’.
Yes, and then they TURN (no S) into hoarders. So either one womAn turnS into a hoarder or two womEn turn into hoarders.
@@paulafaber8589I think the S in hoaders is what needs to go for it to make sense.
And she resorted to hoarding not resulted to hoarding. English 101.
@@b.bernal6151 you’re probably right.
You all must have excelled in English class,I certainly didn't.

Clever trick. She covered the stuffed animals' face, for less of an emotional reaction.
Thank you so much for your video.

What strange looking hair cuts.
Looks like they cut each other’s hair.😂
All 4 of them have short cuts. As an American, I wondered if that's the fashion in the UK 😉
DIY 🤣
Cats not doing its job!

"Paralysis from the knee down on the right side" doesn't seem like much of a disability, seriously.

Are you kidding? She can't walk.
You try it then and come back and tell everyone how easy it was 🙄
Okay Ramona. 🙄 Ignorance is certainly a disability in the context of your comment.
Be kind. If you haven't been in her circumstances maybe it would be better to hush?
What’s wrong with the daughter, why can’t she clean up? Think there’s some laziness going on here
It's not as easy as laziness. Often hoarding is associated with depression, stress, trauma and mental disorders.
Monkey see monkey do...

@@jb6712That’s why hoarders need cognitive therapy hence your comment that backs it up.
