I've never seen a hoarder house that had such potential. I mean there is beauty in almost every corner -- starting with her ladybug door theme. Living here In North America I've never seen any "frontage" like this particular house. I wonder if it's a loft or commercial renovation? Well, only part way through this. What a lovely lady and so aware of the problem. You seldom see such motivation in hoarders.
I adore Alison. She was featured in The Hoarder Next Door in two episodes; her first obsession was ladybirds and then hoarding sweets. There wasn't as many cats then. Alison is so likeable and fun, you want to be friends with her. Alison worked with a psychotherapist named Stelios Kiosses, a brilliant and compassionate doctor who is just as loveable (yet professional) as her! This short documentary and the other two featuring Alison with Stelios gives off such a warm, fuzzy ambience that one feels like they're with family 🤗. I wish I had people like Alison and Stelios Kiosses to enrich my life. Sublime!
@@Ccamero123 I think Alison will struggle with her addiction for the rest of her life. I often wonder how she finds the money for her addictions. The other 2 episodes are my favourites because I adore her psychotherapist Stelios Kiosses. I have an aversion to the field of psychology (too many quacks) and this doctor is genuine and makes people feel secure. I don't really have much time to indulge, but the company of people on RUclips is a helluva lot better than the actual, nasty, phony people I encounter in my real life.
She has a good heart helping these homeless unwanted animals but she really needs a bit of help for her own life too. I hope someone will help her with adoptions and all else, she is really a lovely person.
1:46 She seems very sweet, wanting to help the old, special needs, and homeless kitties. As a fellow animal-person, I can see she's trying to help, but the hoarding just makes it difficult. Her home has so much potential, and so does she. I hope she does well and that all the kitties find homes! 🐈🐈⬛
I totally relate with this woman. For neurodivergent, people, there is this concept of having like a sitter while you do things just like a partner present, not even necessarily doing what you're doing with you, but just present with you, whether it be schoolwork, cleaning, uh, journaling et. Cetera I feel like she benefited from having the two women with her and it really motivated her. I can totally totally relate to this. And I wish her nothing but the best in success, health and happiness
I love this lady and her personality. She has a ton of style. I would really enjoy petting her cats and sharing a cup of tea in her adorable cozy house.
Me too! Watch Alison and a wonderful psychotherapist named Stelios Kiosses (you'll love him too!) in two episodes of The Hoarder Next Door. The episodes are S2Ep3 and S3Ep6, I believe. I adore Alison and Stelios!
I fear Alison will go back to her old ways of hoarding. Three times she’s had help now. Ladybugs, sweets and now everything plus cats! Alison has a different story every time she is hoarding. When she was hoarding chocolate that was interesting.
@@ntakovacj3644 Hoarders always say that but it rarely happens and they will continue to fill spaces up that have been cleared and re hoard for the rest of their lives.
Animal hoarders don't take care of their animals, e.g. smelly home, feces/wee everywhere. Her house is messy but relatively clean + no smell, according to the ladies who helped her.
Maybe if more people were responsible - fixed their cats, didn’t abandon, etc. and if more people stepped up and adopted - maybe then people like this lady wouldn’t have to do so much to work.
I've been binging all the US and British hoarders shows for months. Allison's place is nothing like some of the other hoarders. She has a lot of stuff. But not a lot of garbage, rot, mold, mice and awful stuff like other hoarders. She is cute and her house is cute, so I hope she'll be OK.
Rent a large vacant building move it all there and advertise a sale for charity. Sell everything for the animal shelters. She cant say no because that's why she says she has it all .
She did do great, not trying to say anything against that, but at least for me, there is still way too much stuff in the house. Of course, it's not my house, so she can keep whatever she wants to keep.
Like 90% of extreme compulsive hoarders, Alison will continue to hoard and re hoard for the rest of her life; in six months it will be back to how it was. As far as I know there is no cure for this illness.
I think you have a point there, considering this is the third time see needs a decluttering tv show to help her out cleaning up her stuff. And she has not changed her way of thinking as I can see. Sad, but she will not change on the long term
People fail to realize, people have been good pet owners long before cat trees and such..my cats have a cat tree and have never used it, neither did my sons cats....

I agree this hoard needs to be reduced, but please do not throw anything useful in the garbage, there is always someone that will gladly take the stuff, that is the main thing that has bothered me on some previous vids on hoarding I have watched.

Definitely kinder and more insightful than American hoarders.
Do the cleaning women really think cats get one designated places to sleep? That’s not how that works

Rock on Allison!! I"m so happy you found some clarity in your home and mind🥰
At least she’s caring for her animals not like some hoarders.
What a pleasant surprise. She did great. 👍👍

Yes but this is the 3rd time I've seen her on a hoarders show. She backslides. But she is a lovely woman with a big heart.

Allison, is such a lovely Soul. Such a ❤️ loving Woman.
I used to volunteer in a charity shop - anything with cat or dog hair on it went straight in the bin.
Don’t donate dirty items.
It's still a mess, full of stuff. Everything she keeps needs to be cleaned, maintained. Who wants to be a maid to all that stuff?

@Texasishot105 I like your "visual noise" neology! Very witty!
i think Alison would be fantastic at interior decorating, and window displays. so homely.
The British seem so much more aware than the American hoarders.
Still looks like too much stuff. And it all collects dust and cat dander. Much much more needs to go.
She does say that she will continue the clearing, doesn't she?
Yes step by step 😊

She's only 49? Hoarding must have aged her..
My mother used to work in a association in her city, and some vet made cheaper prices or free.
Thank you so much for your video.

You delight at being obtuse and mean
Why not let her have the money from HER stuff? She spent money buying it all....she could get a makeover, haircut etc...stuff she can't hoard
She could. But being a hoarder, the risk is high that she would just buy more stuff.
I wish Kat and Tee were my best friends. They are so kind, so lovely and so genuinely good.

They're just things. As soon as she realises that things like that drag you down , the better she'll be.
