Natalie's cool with a crystal voice and still releasing great music and touring with a very good band. She is still really beautiful now.
fun fact= There was actually a minor earthquake during the filming of the video. This caused the initial shaking of the set pieces that inspired them incorporate the shaking caught on camera into the video by showing the set pieces being torn down. Kudos for recognizing an artistic incorporation opportunity and making changes on the fly while filming.
never heard of this, can you give me a source
This song always makes me feel just a tinge of heartbreak. Like a young adult looking back on a decade-old, seemingly perfect family photo
that hides terrible abuse beneath those smiling faces. Mourning lost innocence, a childhood stolen that will never come again.
Memories 🥰🥰🥰
I was in High School when this song came out. I swear she was the only reason I watched VH1, just hoping this video would come on. My first celebrity crush.
I like the music video concept of actors taking direction on a set ...making a music video.
Nostalgia 😶☁️✨
The guy in the video was also one the dancers in Queen's I Want To break Free video.
Can’t think of many voices as beautiful as Natalie’s. Maybe Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, Anni Frid, Angelina Jordan and very few others
This song is one of the GOAT
Love this song 👌 Natalie looks stunning
I love that song! Thank you for that!
I love this song
Great song.
7:36 as i have FRIENDS on the tv lmao but this music video never made me think of the show..... now it will 🤦🏻♂️
that songs a banger...forgot about that one. Also not hard on the eyes.
Natalie Imbruglia is 90s decade and 90s are Natalie Imbruglia. That's it.
Nice
6:37 Wow, back when guitar solos were actually good 👍🏼
i guess youve never listened to Dance Gavin Dance (2005), Polyphia (2010) or Greta Van Fleet (2012) if you think that
@@El-ingobernable We all know the best solo ever is in Cold as Ice by foreigner (1977)
Once we get that established, there can be a discussion regarding the Imbruglia version of torn. (1998)
@panbaiye i love Imbruglia's version of "Torn" but how you gonna make a comment about "back when solos were actually good" and then mention "Cold As Ice" That solo in "Torn" comes nowhere near "Cold As Ice" and definitely far from Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird"
@@El-ingobernable Great question. Please consider the definition of a guitar solo from my POV
A parameter I'm including is it has to be widely adopted. And I have good reason.
For example sultans of swing charted higher, has a better solo but then the, cold as ice, hook brings you back. It has more longevity as a song, which in turn, propels the solo.
With the shift in music production, it doesn't seem to pay to be a guitarist in a group that's world famous, if you want agency.
(Well also every other musician)
The best musicians I see are all over social media for a few 100k views on a sound clip. Then a few incredibly talented musicians get together (probably best ever) to show each other how good they are at doing music math. Which is awesome. But not culture shifting.
But when torn was released everyone in my whole city knew the solo. Like cold as ice
I could contest that guitar solos fell off in early 2000s as a well procured art form. * And note I only said good, not great. *
Now, it's a daily guitar tech convention. I scroll booth to booth, and listen to the most perfect riffs. Which I love. But I'm not putting these songs on at a party or playing for non musician friends.
BTW Torn, smashes at parties
PS Free bird was an etude for how to be annoying with hammer ons.
Good day guys please react to CHAR of the franz rythm family band rendition of TORN SANG BY NATALIE IMBRUGLIA these family band compose of teens and kid and their father as their mentor more power to Ur channel guys 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
