Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

I was one of the four million who purchased that album. This song never got old and ramped up the vibe whenever it came on. The video encapsulated the youthful energy of the 90s, pulling away from the grunge era with a fresh batch of female voices like Michelle Branch, Natalie and Sheryl Crow. Her other awesome song Wishing I Was There was a hit after Torn. Check out the official video for a good listen 👍
She was on an Australian soap opera very popular in the UK and “did a Kylie.” She was moderately successful and this was a mainstay on radio playlists (at least here in the UK) for awhile. This is a wonderful song ❤

She still is performing and sounds pretty much the same and oh yeah she is a beautiful woman.. There is an SNL skit where Michael Cohen is testifying before a house committee and he reads the lyrics at then end of his opening statement - a rather funny skit

natalie was on aussie soap neighbours that aired on brit tv from the start in 85.she was in it from 92.i don't think she was there long.
other people that have gone on to be famous from neighbours are kylie minogue 85-87 who just got her second grammy,a couple of icon awards and is finishing her last leg of her las vegas residency.
jason donovan was kylie's bf/hubby in neighbours 85-87.signed to same label as kylie.also has been in stage musicals.

Howard Sten had the band that wrote the song. It is a very hard rock song.
The band had released different version of Torn but I think the version she sang on Howard Sten show is definitely the best
This song was first released as Brændt (Burnt), by danish singer Lis Sørensen. Followed later by the writers and composers group Ednaswap. Since I understand some danish, I find the less sugary danish version to be the better one.
I’ve heard that version too and I love it.
The norwegian artist Trine Rein has released this one even before Natalie I.

One of the few pop songs from the 90s that I enjoy listening to.
I remember it featuring in one of the charity shows - The secret policeman's ball (?).. it was the music for a very funny dance routine. Natalie was involved, it was on YT but got taken down, probably for c/w reasons.
I’ve searched for a specific performance from one of the Secret Policemen charity concerts (David Gilmour playing bass with Kate Bush) and it’s like it’s been taken down. How weird.

Those songs that I mention still a hit tho but doesn't have the same success as torn.

@@Kisaragi_eki Billboard defines a U.S. one-hit wonder as an artist who cracks the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 but never returns to that position. Torn was number 42 and Wrong Impression peak at 64. So her one hit really doesn’t even qualify her as one hit wonder.
