@@Adar_GorthaurSauron was the chief apprentice of the Valar of the Forge. (Basically, he was the apprentice of the god of smithing in middle earth.) By far, he's more adept at making and destroying weapons than he is at fighting. In fact, in the grand scheme of things, he didn't even like fighting. (Basically, Sauron turned to evil because Melkor promised to make a world of perfect order. Sauron is obsessed with perfect order because he sees everything as a machine, and he always felt baffled at how these punt mortals can act so irrationally all the time.) At his heart, Sauron is an inventor first, a deceiver second, and a warrior third.
The Ring's power is still technically Sauron's power, as it was created by transferring part of his soul, and therefore strength, into it. Kind of akin to a Horcrux from Harry Potter. So even if the One Ring is where most of his power comes from, most of its power comes from him. They feed into each other. Honestly, there was almost no way for the Lich King to actually win. Sauron's survivability is such that he survived God attempting to smite him, he literally cannot die without destroying the One Ring, and it literally cannot be destroyed without throwing it into Mt. Doom, since in the books even the flame breath of the greatest and most powerful dragon in the Lord of the Rings world couldn't do anything to it at all, and weapons shattered on contact. Worst case scenario for Sauron would be the Ring being cut off and him "dying" until the Lich King picks up the One Ring and puts it on, eventually just becoming Sauron again, or at least a servant to his disembodied will.
Sauron was a Maiar, a lower rank angel who was discipline of a higher rank Angel called Aule, who was the master craftsman. sauron created the One Ring, tnot just to make his pwoer greater but dominated every race, also the One Ring has part of Sauron soul, making it indestructible and a way to keep Sauron soul eternal and could not be casted to the void. The only place where the ring could be destroyed is the volcano that Sauron used to make it. But even there, the corruption power of the Ring is at peak. The Ring is basically a tool that can corrupt any soul and mind who possess it.
The Ring actually make Sauron weak as normally Sauron can shape shift and take new bodies in no time. but him putting part of his powers in the ring. made him way weaker when he don't have the ring (bad idea) and he regret it
@@h7oda793 not really, the ring actually saved him. It was thanks to the ring existence that he managed to take on eru destruction of numenor. He only lost his shape shifting abilities after that event, before that even with the ring he could shape shift and more
Sauron is an order of magnitude more powerful. Ironically, this is peak Arthas vs at the end of the series Sauron, not even peak Sauron. Guy lost a lot of power tanking that Act of Eru.
it's because they took the movie sauron and not the book sauron, in the movie isildur just cuts the ring finger off when in the book it took two kings and then isildur after sauron was weakened

I'd like to be the first to say that I'm a huge fan of both LOTR and WOW, and have read most of the books in those works as well. So I dare say my comment will be food for thought. Objectively, the video is wrong. 1. Sauron lost his ability to morph after losing his body. 2. His armor and weapon are formed by his will with dark magic = not on the level of ancient artifacts capable of destroying Frostmourne. Even Sauron's body is created by the will and power of the ring = No blood. 3. the Lich King wasn't just a demigod like Sauron. He was the one who killed and enslaved the ancient demigods, demons and their magic. He literally had the power to kill and enslave creatures on the level of Balrogs and Great Dragons (creations of Morgoth), which even Sauron himself feared. Sauron was not afraid to go into only one type of conflict, and that was with mortals... and he was defeated by a mortal. 4 Sauron's real power has always been his strategic skills and the power of the ring to corrupt the souls of all who were in his presence. 5. Even if he didn't have the Eye of Acherus, the Lich King would have found out rather quickly during the duel what Sauron drew his power from. Bottom line, confirmed. This video is nicely done, but incredibly flawed done by people who may have had some sort of poll on Discord. The video would really make it look like there were 2 fights in reality. The first duel where the Lich King would cut off the ring of power. Sauron would have counted on that, like the good strategist he always was.He was counting on the Lich King taking the Ring and deploying it to usurp the new power, at which point he would usurp the Lich King and all his power. BUT Sauron wouldn't know that the Lich King had already experienced a battle of wills in such a powerful artifact. And that was when he, as Arthas, killed the soul of Ner'zhul (Lich King) while passing the power of the crown, which took 10 years. Thus, he would master the power of the ring and become an invincible force. P.S. There is much more power hidden in the Crown than in the Ring, which can be seen in the amount of destruction it will bring. After the Ring is destroyed, a volcano erupts and an earthquake destroys most of the army of Mordor. When the Lich King's crown is destroyed, the very fabric of reality is destroyed, breaking the barrier between the world of the living and the world of the dead. This comparison of power is legitimate, just as we can compare the size and mass of stars and the effects of their supernovae. The ring - a big supernova. The Crown - a giant supernova that went into a black hole. PS2: Here we are only talking about a 1v1 combat. In the context of armies, Sauron wouldn't stand a chance (LOTR 3 ghosts, imagine...). And even if Sauron had legions of Nazgholes, the Lich King would have no problem binding them to his will. Game, set and match - Lich King wins
Audio Is Slightly off in Video Sorry the inconvenience 😥
I was really surprised finding out how many people didn't know sauron
Good
Honestly with me I recognized him as the eye instead of the armor look
No cap, even without the ring, The lich king is no match for Mairon (Sauron). The ring was made to enslave the world, its not a combat tool.
