This fight boiled down to them fighting over food, and tossing insults as poetic as possible. They were basically Flyting, the old norse style of rap battles.

When you think about it, this battle was a food fight this entire time. Galactus about to enjoy his food, then Unicron comes in to try to steal a fry or two.
and then Unicron grabs and destroys the food instead of eating it...
Galactus: "MADNESS! That planet was about to be tasty af!"

I mean unicron is a planet my man Galactus eats planets this was only gonna be a meal. And when I realized what the ultimate nullifier actually did the robot had no shot
The Darkseid feat was from a crossover called Darkseid vs Galactus: The Hunger. It's not the same Galactus but considering they composite Unicron, it's fair to say they can use that feat.
That is probably canon cause it has been mentioned

So i was definitely pulling for Galactus,but i actually thought if Unicron won by taking over the Ultimate Nullifier that wouldve went down as one of the all time Death Battle Victories in Death battle history.
Not gonna lie,that Ultimate Nullifier doesnt get talked about as much as it should in comparison to alot of the othe iconic items in Comic Book History and that fact that its just sitting in Galactus Ship is crazy to me.
I personally think that’s what should have happened, but the episode was still amazing!

For some clarification on the trailer at the end, here's the battles that people have theorized it to be hinting at:
Joker vs Giorno (obviously, with the tarot)
Minato vs Neku (as an alt to Joker vs Giorno, though, the former is more likely)
Kira vs Adachi (alt to the prior two, and works because one of the images showed a tv)
John Constantine vs Raidou Kuzunoha (the tarot *obviously* represent a Persona/SMT matchup, and Constantine also aligns with the tarot quite well)
SCP 682 vs Doomsday (I don't buy the arguments for this one, but I see why people think it. Plus, the fact that it wasn't on the ToC is pretty suspicious)
Richard Nixon vs Dr. Manhattan (one of the shots looks nearly identical to the moon Richard Nixon was photographed on)
Percy Jackson vs Zagreus (there's a decent argument for this one)
Jack Skellington vs The Grinch (one of the swirls looks exctly like one of the effects in Nightmare Before Christmas, I've been told)
Korosensei vs Monokuma (a small image in the background of one of the images seems to point to it, plus it obviously has the backing of several DB crew members)
Peter Griffin vs Homer Simpson (one of the images you see is a warped version of the Family Feud logo)
Funny Valentine vs Senator Armstrong (has nothing to do with the trailer for next time, but is soft confirmed for next season)
Theres also the obviously confirmed Wile E Coyote vs Tom the Cat, & possibly Columbo vs Kira, Id say the most likely matchups that aren’t outright confirmed are Kira vs Columbo, Funny Valentine vs Senator Armstrong, & Joker vs Giorno,
@@DorothyOHumdrum Kira vs Columbo I don't think is as likely as the other two. The tarot at the end heavily point to Joker vs Giorno, and with the election cycle coming up next season Valentine vs Armstrong is too good to pass up. Conversely, we have no actually proof for Kira vs Columbo, and, amongst the team, only Liam seems to actually like it a ton. I mean, if he can make Chosen Undead vs Dovahkiin happen I have no doubt he can convince them to let him to Kira vs Columbo, but it seems less solidly locked-in than the other two.
They won't use SCP 682 because it's basically a public domain fan-fiction. Someone could literally change their article at will.

Galactus vs Unicron is like who wants a last slice of pizza
in fantastic four 2, that was a depiction of "ultimate" galactus from the ultimate marvel universe, which is a living superweapon made of nanites or something. the ultimate universe is supposed to be more grounded and realistic, which in practise means everybody's weaker and usually a jerk. and a frankly bizzare number of them are cannibals.
so when the REAL galactus showed up absolutely nobody was prepared for it, and he just... blew up that universe. he even made his ultimate self his new herald.
Unicron was in the last Micheal Bay, The Last Knight, as Earth (a concept from the Aligned Continuity, where he became the core of Earth after being defeated by Primus) and in the Rise of the Beasts movie in his normal form
This battle was FIRE!

there is DRUG powered bad guy in comics called Snowfire. yes that drug. he is high all the time and his touch causes people to be high as well. comics get weird.

yes he did... in the transformers movie of 1986, transformers 5 the last knight and the most recent transformers rise of the beasts but he has been in many cartoons such as transformers prime

i knew galactus would win the power gap is again too high, people are just stupid and obsessed with requesting unfair fights, unicron at most is literally hyperversal (12 dimensional and higher) while galactus with Cosmic Devouring and the Ultimate Nullifier is high outerversal but without this but with sufficiently fed hes low outerversal... ye you see the gap
