I really think your calibration with the stick should have had the three lift and set like you did with the casting! Just kidding Clark, I loved this presentation and the little bit of a rub about Vintage Machinery at the start. A smile on my face at 11:00 PM on a very chilly night here in NW Iowa is a good thing.
Glad you got a winner that could use it. I'm living offgrid so time would be limited to 5 hrs a day on sunny days. Or I start a generator. But I had to try.
Woo hoo! Thank you Clarke! Happy Thanksgiving!
Congrats!
7g off nice, I was 65g high. Congrats!
Congratulations!
glad to see you won this nice product !

Well, I was the second place one you were calculating. Story of my life.
that was so fun. i only missed it by 26 grams. such a shame. but it sure makes me smile and thanks for doing this contest.
Happy Thanksgiving Clarke to you and your family!
You should have put the stick in with the sign to see if it added 3. It is very possible you were maxing the scale and that was all it could weigh. 😮
That was FUN!. Thanks!
Man that was a shocker did not see that going to be 10lbs there
Grats
So close @ 4941...was fun to play along. Happy Thanksgiving.
congrats daver425 enjoy and have fun with this fine machine.
Thanks Clark for the contest. Take care all.
I don't dispute who won, just wondering why, since the casting weighed 4924g three times, why was 4925 used to find the closest guess?
Congratulations to the winner 🏆
Congratulations to the Winner! I was off, so far off.
Congratulations Daver425!
undershot by 172... Congratulations to the winner.
Where/when was the contest? How did I miss it?
wow...I was about 100g off...not too bad. :)
